“Ahhhhh” as Sophia wake up at her bed as she feels the sunlight coming from the window she yawned and brushed her hair as she went to take a shower. After she finished to take a bath she wore her uniform and ate breakfast in the living room with her mother and father.
“Oh my beautiful daughter, did you like today’s breakfast?” Sophia’s father asked with a kind smile to which Sophia answered “Yes, papa it was quite delicious” as she showed a beaming smile. Her mother then smiled and ruffled her hair, making her giggle.
Sophia then went to school. While walking down on a wide road on a way to school, she thought of how her parents are getting busier each day, causing her to frown and grip her hands thinking that she needs to increase her grades more so they will notice her more.
Because of this reasons, Sophia always wanted to be on the top in every subject in class. Every day she convinces herself to do her best. That is her secret in keeping her grades in top form, whether in be in sport or academics.
Noticing Samuel on the way to school as well, she smiled mischievously and made a face at him, enraging Samuel. Sophia, then laughed in a playful manner as she watched Samuel storm off and thought that she should do this every day to release her boredom.
After class when Sophia was on her way back home, she saw a family having fun in their lawn, earning her jealousy. As she arrives home, she looked for her parents but realized that they were still at work even though it’s already past 6pm. “I see they’re still at work huh” Sophia quiely mutters to herself as her mood drops”. it’s too bad I don’t have other relative thought Sophia as she mulls over this issue as she goes to her room to study.

When Sophia entered her room she started to review the topics in class today. After finishing all her studies, she began to feel drowsy and noticed that it was already night. She then went to bed and slept. When she woke up, a terrible frown appeared on her beautiful face as she remembered that Samuel was on her dream last night as he do naughty things to her. Samuel, unknowingly earning Sophia’s resentment, sneezed. As she thought of the day ahead of her, it brought back a smile on her face, putting the previous matter to rest.
*
“Hahahahahaha!” Samuel laughed as he opened his eyes and looked the magic formation before him. It was a magic formation he learned from the servant; It helped the magic caster infiltrate in someone’s dream. He used this last night to aid him as he infiltrated Sophia’s dream as he do some rather questionable deeds and piss Sophia. Samuel did this to get back on Sophia as she teased him on his way to school yesterday by making an annoying face even though he did nothing to her.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author.
