Egor looked at the middle aged woman who's throwing the needle randomly and then magically found its way to its designated target "What a troublesome technique!"
'Lieutenant Merv will come here soon, I must take care of this situation immediately!'
The needles pose no threat but it was soaked in lethal poison. Holding dynamite, he lights it up and throws it to the woman, and dodges the incoming ax that was thrown to him by Matt.
BOOOM!~
Amidst the scattered dust, a weak whistling sound that couldn't be heard was unleashed and three marines were fallen to the ground with their eyes rolled to white and foaming bubbles in their mouth.
In different areas of their body, a glistening needles were found successfully inserted.
"Again!? damn!" Egor was scared shitless as he didn't know how to handle this situation and scan the surroundings to see if he could remedy their predicament.
Mother Riz takes cover in a big boulder as the barrage of bullets keeps pouring in her side "Damn Geezer! where the hell are you!?"
Matt with his big physique slashed his ax to some sword wielder marines and looked at the side worriedly "Mother!"
Looking at the dozens of villagers who lose their life defending and buying some time for the others to escape, she can't help but shed some tears "I won't let them past this area!" with great convictions she get the sealed cauldron that attaches to her back and removes the rope that sealed it.
"Matt! Go and escape, I'll entrust little Jass to you!" Shouting to Matt who back away from the dozens of marines "But how about you!?"
The marines tried to take advantage and slashed the open Matt but a needle was injected halfway through to his neck making him lose his consciousness and fall almost immediately.

"Don't waste time! Go!" Mother Riz shouted angrily at Matt who clenched his teeth very hard and closed his eyes as he ran in the direction of the villagers they helped to escape.
The other marines tried to chase the fleeing Matt but were stopped by Egor who raised his hand, thinking that this middle aged woman was the reason he lost so many of his subordinates.
"Why suffer so much when you can just give up!? Captain Jiggs only needed the noble kid but you guys keep hindering our missi-"
"Shut your stinking mouth marines! you marines don't have any difference to the devil pirates who can only slaughter and destroy our homes!"
Without further hesitation, Mother Riz throws the cauldron at her back as a violet smoke scatters and blocks the path where the others escape from.
The violet smoke keeps expanding as it engulfs almost one-fourth of the underground space "What the heck are you doing you crazy bitch!" Ergo was scared shitless as he covered his mouth and nose with his shoulder and back away from the nearing violet smokes.
The other marines ran far away as they watched the others who accidentally inhale the smoke fall to their back as their skin was patch with a violet color.
"Ran! This smoke is poison!"
Mother Riz looks at the fleeing marines, she holds her breath but the poison in the smoke can infiltrate the pores but this is the only option she can do right now.
'I can't let you guys escape this underground as the chances of my granddaughter will reduce drastically!' brandishing the dozens of needles in her hands, she throws it rhythmically as every wave of her hand a marine will fall one by one.
Egor could hear his subordinates fall to his back but he can't do anything and can only run as fast as he could fearing the needle or the poison smoke will claim his life "I beg you! let me go, I promise that I will not pursue the villagers!"

Even the other marines tried to beg for their lives as they didn't expect that it would come down to this situation.
But Mother Riz keeps throwing needles in her hands ignoring the little patch of violet color that appears in her skin or the begging of the marines.
Egor reaches the entrance of a nearby tunnel and he excitedly runs faster "Thank you! I will not chase the villag-"
Boom!~
He can't finish his sentence when he sees the ceiling of the forest underground 'W-what happened!?' that is the last thought before his life was sucked out of his body.
"Did I give you the permission to beg someone for your life!?" with a smoking barrel of his revolver, Lieutenant Merv looked at the sorry state of his dispatch groups to capture measly villagers but the result was devastating.
A total of fifty marines were brought down to five and the point that they needed to beg for their lives while fleeing like a dog.
"Lieutenant Merv!" at first seeing their Lieutenant was like a beacon of light to save them but seeing how he shot Ergo as nothing scared them that they stopped running and forgot Riz who keeps reaping their lives.
Riz looked at the not too far Lieutenant Merv who didn't even bat an eye as he shot down the remaining marine who ran back in her direction.
Feeling the tingling pain that is coursing throughout her body, she knows that her time is ticking down 'I need to at least bring this f*cker down with me!'
She brandishes the remaining eight needles in her hands and dashes forward with might, as she only sees the short marine who looked at her after killing his own men "Die!" letting out all of the needles at her disposal as she covered all of the possible angles that her needles will land onto.
As a marksman himself, Lieutenant Merv has terrifying eyesight that he sees the eight needles that glide through the air and mysteriously curve like a slithering snake, giving it a hard time for him to predict where the needles were land to and decide to leave his current position 'I can't believe this damn woman know this kind of technique if I can learn this would I be able to apply it to my bullets?'
Jumping through the air he grab a gas mask in his sleeves and put it to his face "What a troublesome woman!" he fired a three shot while putting on his mask that hit three needles that silently whistled in his back.
Merv land on the ground and looked at the four needles that land in the ground that half of the needles were glistening with water poison "Huh!? four?"
Only to feel how hollow his inner is as he tried to found his footing but failed and fell to his knees "Y-you! H-how urrghh!" he tried to talk but he felt a stifling cough as he vomits blood.
The woman walk weakly to him and kneel in front of him and reach to the top of his head and a feeling of a tug of hair was felt "Misdirection, they said that magicians tends to show all of their cards but still a hidden trick will always be played in the dark." the woman weakly said while smiling, "That's what my son taught me."

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
