Underground Sewer - ???
"I told you that the schedule of delivery will be two days' worth of waiting, but why the troubles cause us to force postpone dates?"
"I don't know. The transport of funds hadn't arrived here on this land, as they said."
"Then we can reach them if they'll be fine or not."
The two men with poor-looking faces, wearing red frock coats, felt concerned about their prior tasks. They stood in front of the bloat, fleshy background around the ceiling, wall, and floor. They carried with exquisite-designed cutlass from their holder belt, showing their superiority to other redcoats who were guarding around the area for the security. They looked around if there were no loose issues around the canal. They acted as the managers of a hidden underground factory where nobody would see from the main public. Although they were part of the dark side, they held the power and connection to some officials who had the corrupted intents to take the Kingdom for their desirable hands.
They could negotiate with every impoverished person to stand against their poverty with plain sailing methods. They could fight against the Kingdom to renovate with their ideals to hand the control. They belonged to the Black Market where the dark side resided to prosper with their products, even though it was illegal in terms.
"So this big pal right here is our daily producer?"
"They secrete the liquid drug with constant duplication until the drip gives us the cost to sell with heavy crave."
"Even a goddamn piece of bottle would cost around ten thousand gold coins, most buyers are in a stake to expand their self-power and redeem themselves with a simple process. Blame it on their pitiful choice."
"Who cares? As long as money can help us in many ways. Don't you remember? It talks when you get much fortune."
"I believe in what you say."
The men laughed together as they thanked their luck to reach their wishful miracle. They could have a toast while waiting for a scheduled date to execute on their tasks. Although the delay bothered them, they expected nothing to trouble them. Jokes, women, money, and luxury were easy to bet for their remedy.
"Hello~"
However, some strange man appeared before them. He had pale-skinned face with his purplish eyes and bleached hair, and he wore his dark vibrant blazers to celebrate himself with high confidence. He smiled in front of the vigilant bandits while they pointed their long-barreled muskets at him, inspecting every inch of his odd movements. They targeted him as their enemy who went out of his business to interfere with another. He gave nothing to hesitate while their perilous eyes attempted to wear him out.
The furious man directed his blade at him and asked, "What's your business around here, young man? I doubt that you just come here unintentionally. Tell me, who are you?"
The bleach-haired man replied, "As you know, I'm just a man full of curiosity. Whatever, whenever, however, and wherever I can, I count this as a tour to reach my paradise. I never want to ruin your business for a while."

"For a while? What do you mean?"
"Oh, yeah…. Apparently, this hall right here on this point leads to the way where I'm supposed to live. Too bad that this path in current status insults me to meet another deadend. I would like to request for a clear path to pass."
"Heh, don't kid us around. Jokes like that are too bland for us to laugh. How sarcastic are you to entertain us?"
"Jokes? Entertain?"
The strange man laughed for a bit while the cautious redcoats stilled their grip for a clear aim to his head. He made sure not to create a bit of commotion before they shot with unfathomable purpose. Their glaring eyes piqued him to urge for his chance. He needed a grasp of careful reach while they glued vigilantly. He focused his position to align with the two supreme guards while waiting for more riflemen to come before him. He stepped closer to the sword-pointed men while they hesitated to strike against him. He calculated the distance between the swordsmen and the riflemen — which it was 20 meters apart while the rear stood closer to the vast, fleshy margin with dripping of reddish liquid.
Until then, he found the opening to step through their blockage.
He smacked their arms between him to release their blade away from their grip. He aligned himself through the swordsmen and docked under their limbs while the riflemen in the rear shot with an unfortunate aim that couldn't hit him. Instead, they hit their friendly supervisors with many bullets passed through their body. They unluckily had empty ammo on their rifle as the sole bullet loaded on it. Apparently, the model was their reckless guilt. They almost got him until he remained to act confidently.
Nothing bothered him.
He swiftly gathered the pair of lighters from his pockets and tossed it toward the bloody, moist, fleshy background. Redeeming his safe position, he backpedalled from his front while the riflemen hesitated on reloading their guns to prepare for another clear shot.
"Poof~"
However, all of them ended with immense combustion. It slightly exploded with a vigorous force that would tear their body out of their life. The smell of smoke sharpened to strong concentration. The blazing surge cleaned the path to walk safely without fearsome odds. At least, there were no quakes that followed to meet.
"Jokes and entertainment are merely temporary to your toast. Living for the sake of laughter craved nothing but greed. Nothing will excuse you if you could've excused me first," he muttered with his smirk.
He celebrated his victorious battle for clearing his path with vast combustion of flames. The grilling smoke made him clapped with his glorious grin. He knew something that was worth experimenting from his past observation. He thanked someone who helpfully exhibited in front of his curious eyes behind the wall.
"You learned that for now," someone named Veronica voiced with a seductive, gradual deep voice in a feminine tone. "Splendid job for you to take a shot without fear."
She appeared to be a gray-haired, tan-skinned woman with long-pointy ears. She wore nothing but nipple-piercings. She was a cynical elf lady over her bare body as she contented over her purpose rather than shame. She considered the man named Luge Kira to be extraordinarily unique without necessary help to back him up. Although she served herself as a reserve, he appreciated her presence since she gladly showed him the clue from his recall.

"I kinda feel sorry for these guys," another lady named Mirai Shizuku, appearing to be a plain, raven-haired woman with her monochromatic-styled frock coat, voiced her opinion, "Maybe you should take some pity to regret their choices."
"Thanks for the matter. Although I stand nothing but to judge the answers from my curiosity, be best to learn from that."
She felt exasperated over his remark, although he didn't mean to ruin her mood. He intended not to shame her without reason. He could shrug it off to accept what her thoughts retorted towards him. He could laugh it off while enjoying his self-indulgence. His curiosity had finished with one epilogue left to step beyond the eyes.
"Let's keep enjoying our tour. Our destination will be just one step ahead," he said with his exciting tone.
While the others nodded for his agreement, they proceeded together to seek one clue of their dark secret. They walked to wander around their eyes to see for one sign. The path they needed to place was their gateway to surprise. What was behind the path was their destination to step in front of the answer.
Luge felt excited while his nerves tingled to smile every inch of stroll. Meanwhile, Mirai found his face to be a degenerate idiot who would surprise himself at a birthday party. She already knew him for moments before, and she considered him "an asshole who clapped his hands for an experiment". Her sensitivity bothered her as she hit her head to cure her sudden change, but looking at his innocent looks lied to her by urging to ruin him. Although he had his confidence to shine as naked Veronica posed around, she despised her feelings to gather inside her mind in one piece. It rotted her by its mild instances to bloom for disgust. She wanted to resist it, but all she craved was nothing to turn around.
She thought over her inner voice, "(How come this Luge guy made me try to piss me off? He has the face of a joker which I really don't want to walk throughout the carnival… carnival? What he said to me feels nostalgic.)"
She couldn't remember anything, the word "carnival" carved into her confusing mind. All she could do was biting her lips without drawing a wound on it. Her bothersome thoughts came worse than before. It was inevitable to pierce her imagination, although she couldn't picture it.
Meanwhile, Veronica noticed Mirai's facial expression since she acted oddly from within herself. She piqued her curiosity in front of her, but she shoved it away for a bit as she continued to face front and regain her composure.
Their walk was worth longer to give themselves a leisure thought. Worth washing their mind to recharge their conscious being was worth contributing her approach.
"Is that it?"
Luge asked himself while they arrived at the end.
A plain wall of deadend irritated them to give up. It was nothing to achieve their certain destination.
Mirai made her pissed face. She blamed the mistake toward Luge for their waste of time.
"What is this?! Is this supposed that I'm signing up for?! Maybe you'll just laugh at yourself like a simp."
"..."
Luge took a further walk while both lady companions stood before him to wait for his next action. He spotted something obvious that relieved him to oppose Mirai's complaint.
"When are you going to laugh, eh?"
Mirai kept asking while Veronica tried to pat her shoulder for her to be quiet over her sudden piss. Luge ignored her constant retort as he knelt down on the flat ground to where he focused at — the tile with odd segmented edges comparing from every floor throughout the sewer. Thinking with his deep curiosity, he pressed the tile like a huge button. In fact, it was a button. After which, he and his companion heard the quaking sound.
The sudden, mild quake surprised the explorers as the deadend wall lifted from the flat ground, showing the hidden pathway past the end. Thanks to Luge, he corrected Mirai's complaint over to show that it was worth her time to come.
"See that, that's my laugh to you," Luge said toward Mirai while pointing his finger toward the hidden path.
Mirai fastened her lips with no words to say. She sighed over her self-blame to end her misery once again. She could throw herself to the canal for her punishment although it might be stupid of her to waste her life over sole Luge.
"Now for the treasure," Luge voiced to proceed along with his companion. He smiled, thinking the truth awaited them without permission. He needed to see the answer before his curiosity. A part to finish his aim was longing to pick it up and claim it to his list of truth.
Until they stepped beyond the gate, they saw countless boxes of essential supplies that contributed to the redcoats' might to rally. The smell of familiar grilling smoke was intriguing to their eyes. Round of gunpowders, swords, and jars of reddish liquid kept inside the secret vault. The treasure which Luge considered was the final step to finish his aim, alongside Mirai and Veronica. Luckily, the distance was farther to let Luge reconsider his final step.
Luge grabbed the last piece of lighter to prepare for his conclusion.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Mirai asked while trying to resist Luge's strange circumstances.
He ignored his concerning question to fulfill his objective.
"Time for a declaration of war!!"
He bawled while tossing the lighter toward the boxes of jars filled with a strange reddish liquid — used to light the fireworks along the compacted boxes of gunpowder to satisfy the force. Until it turned into a blazing explosion within the hidden fault, they ran back away to the main floor for their glorious end.
