DING [The apocalypse will start in 1 week please be prepared]

okay I will prepare just in case I'm not crazy. Knock Knock "are you okay in there I heard you

throw up" I hear muffled through the door'' "Yeah im okay be right out" I yell through the door.

Well since school is over as that was my last class of the day I should probably go home.

Now

I hop onto the bus because I still sadly do not own a car. I got my license a week ago but i

don't own a car yet. Now you may be asking 'Luna what kind of preparations are you gonna

do in order to survive the apocalypse' simple i'm just going to figure out how the system work

s and use it to my advantage. Now i don't exactly know how i'm supposed to survive or even

what kind of apocalypse it is. It could be one of those apocalyptic scenarios in which the

world ends by a flood or it could be a zombie apocalypse or it could be one of those

apocalyptic scenarios in which animals evolve into giant monsters or even all of them. I really

do not know so i'm probably going to have to use the system for information. I have two

priorities right now. The first one is to relocate my family closer as my dad lives out in arizona

and my mom and my sisters live out here in ohio. Okay i'm home i currently live in

someone else's house and am renting a room. I could live with my mom but i would rather

not seeing as she wants me to do everything for her. Hey system how do you work?

Okay can you run me down on what these mean.

DING [yes user; the stats page shows you your stats such as strength which quantify your strength in a number format along with that it shows you your skills, traits and effects. The inventory is a timeless space in which you can hold a massive amount of items. Sales are the Sales you make in your restaurant and the rewards you get from them. There is the possibility of getting sponsored from System admins as well who will show up in the salestab. Shop is a shop in which you can purchase things such as Ingredients, skills, traits, and more.]

Okay cool so it's like a basic rpg system from video games.

Ding [Starter quest initiated:You must own a restaurant by the time the apocalypse starts or the system will be removed from the host]

Ding [The system has detected the user as broke and in dire need of cash and has responded accordingly, You have been given one chance to be sponsored by the system itself, you must go up against a chosen champion in a cook off and if you win the system will provide you with a state of the art facility supplying a building of your design along with equipment that you choose for free. If you lose, the system will be taken away and hosts will have to fend for themselves. Would the host like to Accept the cookoff Sponsorship Challenge.]

Hmmm this is a real hard one so i'm gonna have to think about it. On one hand i will get

everything i need for a restaurant in the designs i draw. On the other hand if i lose i will get

nothing and lose my only chance of surviving the apocalypse. Wait but my quest says i need

a restaurant anyway and my financial situation will not allow that. I have no choice so I

accept the Challenge.

Ding [Good choice user if not a very risky one. The Challenge is simple, You go off against one Challenger of our choosing and must win. We provide the materials and give you one ingredient you must use no matter what. You must provide a tasty meal for the judges that beats the Challengers Meal. It is slightly geared towards you because the Challenger is a more experienced Chef. Therefore you will make a dish from your home country to even the odds. Good luck]

Thank you, I hope I win. Woah that was sudden, I was randomly transported into a kitchen.

DING [The ingredient you must use is .......Eggs......... it must be used in such a way that the egg is visible. You may ask for any ingredients for whatever dish you wish to create but it must be from Luna's homeworld. No sabotaging and Get cooking.]

Okay this should be easy, I just need to decide what to cook. Now while i would do something

simple like just some scrambled eggs. I cannot do that here because the stakes are too high.

I will create a Special Cheeseburger using all of my most special techniques with fries and a

soda. First thing I need is some super good meat. Japanese Wagyu A5 Is what i'm going for

here because it is the best type of meat and i don't need to pay for it. I will start by forming

the patties into a ball. Now I mash them down into a patty shape. Now i do seasonings,

Kosher Salt,Black Pepper, Onion powder, Garlic powder, and steak seasoning. Now i put

butter in the pan. Lots of butter. Okay now i place the Patties in the pan making sure to Baste

the burgers in the butter. I start another pan on the heat and put maple bacon on it. I start

another pan with an over medium egg. I flip the burgers and add seasonings to the other

side. I go over to the sauce mixture and add ketchup,mustard,mayonnaise,kosher dill pickle

juice.Worchtershire sauce, salt, smoked paprika,and some hot sauce. i mix it all together. I

turn back to the burgers upon which i place some Cheddar cheese slices and Some Swiss

cheese slices. I then start to toast the buns in butter. i baste the burgers again and take them

off the heat. I prepare the tomatoes and the onions along with a leaf of lettuce. I Cook the

onions with some bell peppers to caramelize them. I took it off the heat. Then i cut the

Potatoes into thin slices like a fry. I add a slight seasoning of salt and shove them into the

deep fryer. Then afterwards i add lots of salt and pepper. Then i get a coke can and put it into

a cup with ice. I then put my brand logo for the restaurant i wish to create on a box for the

burger on the cup for the drink and on the carton for the fries. I assemble the burger first. Bun

then sauce, then burger then i add some salt and put the over medium egg on top. Upon

which I put a leaf of lettuce and a tomato. Afterwards i add some caramelized onions, some

raw onions, and some cooked bell peppers. Then I add some pickles, take some sauce and

put it on the top bun with some salt. Then I put the bun on top and cover the top bun in

melted butter. Upon the bun i sprinkle some sesame seeds and finish off poking a toothpick

through the top and adding a pickle to the toothpick. I am finished and i look over at my

opponent who seems to have made a steak, he also cooked it super well done. I feel like i

have a huge chance as well done steaks are dried shoe leather and have no real taste. My

burgers on the on the other hand, they are medium rare and have the perfect texture.

DING [Times up please step away from your plate.]

I step back and put my hands up. Suddenly the judges appear seemingly in a flash of light.

they asked me to explain my creation so i say "today i have for you a gourmet bacon

cheeseburger basted in butter and spiced with my special array of secret seasoning with fries

on the side and a coca cola on the side." "well i'm excited to try it let's dig in." they state in

unison before taking a bite. This is very suspenseful and the speaking in unison is creepy.

They then ask the other man to explain his food. He says "Well in my defence i have never

even seen any of these before so it was a bit difficult but i've prepared a medium rare steak

with a side of my secret steak sauce." HA like that shriveled up piece of shoe leather is

medium rare that shiz is streaight burnt my guy its like well well well done. Yeah i was correct

as the judges took one bite and gagged. this man really needs to learn how to cook beef my

guy.
