The sound of wind that passed through the gap between the wood and trees made an uneasy feeling. Shanti noticed that and her fox ears moved a little.
"just.... what's that.."
She heard someone approaching really fast from the village. Not for long, Mugha appeared in front of her.
"Shanti, we need your opinion about something"
"....i understand" She nodded
They ran back to the village where everyone already gathered there. Their face showed some different expression, yet all of them agreed with one thing...this couldn't be a good news for them.
"Elder, what's wrong?"
"look...at that Shanti"
He pointed his staff at the soldier head that was put on a single wood block. A lifeless head, with a suprised expression on its face.
Shanti closed her mouth and her eyes were wide open. She never thought that a day where she would be able to see human was come, even though it's only the head.
"so that's why....the wind movements are really strange...and our god's voice that i've heard this morning...."
"god's voice?! he said something to you Shanti?!"
"yes...at first, i couldn't get the meaning, but now...it becomes clear..."
".....looks like we need to do a meeting...Mugha, gather all the fighter!"
"yes father"
Shanti and the elder went into the house while waiting for all the fighter to gather there. Normally, the fighters had a job to patrol around the village and guarded the entrance of the village. They also helped hunting at the forest, and some works at the field too. It would take some time to call and gather all of them.
It almost noon when finally all of them gathered at the elder's house.
"have you seen that thing at the outside?" Elder started the meeting

"yes elder.....to think, human actually exist.."
"but luckily, our shaman was given a guidance by our beast god ROGNIR this morning"
"is that true?!"
"... I'll tell it...what I've heard..this morning.."
Shanti closed her eyes and tried to focus. All the Half-beast in the room was waiting her words.
"when i prayed this morning.. I've heard several sentences. They kept repeated in my mind, so i'm really sure those sentences are warnings for us.."
"what are those sentences Shanti?" Mugha asked
"here is the first one"
The atmosphere in the room became tense. They had lived in peace for more than four hundred years. This was the first time that they got this kind of warnings.
"the chosen one will descend"
They looked at each other. The elder tried to get the meaning of it.
"the chosen one? has it something to do with our current situation?"
"let's hear the rest of them. Then we can understand the meaning"
"you may continue Shanti" Elder gave the signal
"the second is....our salvation will be paid with our souls..."
"salvation? so this human's presence at the forest is a threat for our tribe?!"
"from the first and second sentences...that is most likely the case" Elder replied
Just like their prediction, those sentences were a warnings. Moreover, their beast god told them to give their souls? Never....ever....they had been in this kind of situation.
"...how many sentences left?"
"three...no, two sentences left" Shanti responded
"why are you correcting it just now Shanti?"
"because..i think, one of the sentences is only for me.. personally"
".....i see"
"just.... continue Shanti"
Mugha didn't want to waste more times at this matter. He knew that this kind of situation must be handled as soon as possible.

"-fuuh-, the last sentence is..."
Shanti looked at everyone who's in the room. She needed to make sure that they got this sentence clearly.
"the brave and mighty Half-beast in the south...hear the apostle's call... all of the ROGNIR's children must answer to his summon"
They were silent. This time, all of them understood what's the meaning of this sentence.
"Furr'dhad.... that's mean, the last judgment war is started..." Elder confirmed it
"by our beast god mercy.....so that was all about, human appearet at our forest..."
"so this is what brings humans to our forest...Shanti, is that all of it?" Mugha looked at her
"yes Mugha, that's all of it. If only i had realized it sooner.." Her ears were down a little
"don't think too much about it, because of you..we could understand what's really happened here"
"i..i will pray and ask for another clue"
She stood and left the room. Meanwhile, all of the fighters there was confused. They indeed trained everyday to improve their fighting skills and blessings, yet they never had an actual fight with humans.
One of them asked Mugha, as their leader, for further instruction.
"so what will we do next?"
"....there are two human bodies at the forest, make a team with three people at minimum, to retrieve those bodies, and i need five men to follow me into the forest"
"we will search for the rest of them? those humans?"
"yes, that and hunting. I haven't gotten any meat because of this matter"
"ah, understood"
Mugha prepared to leave and gave his command to the rest of the fighters.
"all of you will protect our village in the meantime. Make sure nothing supiscious approaching this place"
"got it!"
The meeting was ended with uneasy feelings within them, but as the fighters of Ohre's village they must did their duty.
Just when Shanti wanted to go to the ritual place, some men brought Khall to her with some serious wounds on his body.
"what's wrong?! Khall? these...are human's doing?!"
"...yes Shanti..they got me"
"to think they could do this terrible things....lay him down here"
"got it"
Shanti used her blessing to heal all of Khall's wounds.
[MOTHER'S TEARS]
Khall was very frustrated. He always looked so pathetic in front of the woman that he loved. Why was he so weak? why couldn't he show her some of his cool sides?
While he was lying there, Mugha and the other fighters passed through and headed to the entrance of the village.
"why.....i can't be strong like him....." He cursed himself
