For a few minutes, all of Khall's wounds was healed perfectly by Shanti's blessing. He didn't feel any pain or burn sensation on his body.

"how's it Khall?"

"it's better. Thank you Shanti"

"don't mind it. It's my duty as a shaman of this village"

He stood up and walked to the entrance of the village.

"where are you going? shouldn't you take a rest?" Shanti asked

"...i will join the others at the forest, at least i could show them where those bodies are"

"!! they want to bring those human bodies back here?"

"I'm assuming so..Mugha insisted to bring their bodies as the proof"

"....i see. Don't push yourself too hard"

"thank you Shanti, even if I'm weak and unreliable man, I'll keep supporting this village as best as i can"

Khall left the place and headed to the forest. Shanti continued her way to the ritual place. Slowly, he took his time to get into the forest.

He still could remember the pain sensation on his body. That was the very first time for him to get stabbed and burned by someone, and those murderous intentions back there made him trembling a little.

"human.....they are really scary..more like....beast.."

He entered the forest and saw several Half-beasts near in front of him.

"ah, what a coincidence! Khall!" one of them waved at him

"what are you trying to do here? shouldn't you go with Mugha?"

"no. He told us to retrieve those human bodies, yet he forgot to give us the exact location. You know where those bodies are right?"

"yes, that's why I'm here. I'll lead the way" He nodded

He joined with the group and headed towards the location where Mugha slayed those humans.

"it should be around here..."

They arrived at the location, yet there's no human bodies. Some bloodstained on the ground indicated that something happened there, but without the bodies, it could be animal bloods or something else.

"....i don't see any human body"

"let's check around here. Maybe those bodies are dragged by some wild beasts"

"that makes sense. Let's do that"

All of the fighters split at four direction to search the bodies, while Khall remained there. He was one hundred percent sure that someone took those bodies, not just some random wild beasts.

"they talked about reporting back to someone....i don't remember the name"

He looked around once more to make sure there's nothing that they missed.

"even their swords are gone, this is definitely someone's doing"

He decided to go into the direction where those soldiers came from. Maybe he could get some clues, that's what he hoped for.

He kept walking to the northwest while hiding his presence, so his enemy wouldn't notice him.

He heard a faint sound from about two meters in front of him. He lifted up his ears to get a better hearing to find out about what's up ahead.

"we...close..."

"should we.....but..."

It's human voices, there's no doubt about that. Khall finally found their camp, and this could be a good chance to know what were they planning by coming to this forest.

"i need to get closer.."

He took few steps closer and hid behind a tree. He couldn't screw up this chance, not if he wanted to look good in front of Shanti.

"i definitely will get information from them..."

Three soldiers sat near the tree where Khall was hiding behind it. They continued the conversation.

"that monster could use an axe! holy mother..."

"not like the elves....this Half-beast monster would be more dangerous than them"

"i still got a goosebump when saw that headless body"

"it's a one clean strike, without any hesitation"

"gaah... that are monsters for you"

"to think we lose two of our comrades in this scout mission.."

Khall slowly took his breath. He didn't want to make any unnecessary noise. They were starting to give some informations, so he didn't want to mess this up.

"but... i thought, this scout mission was a reckless one, form the very beginning"

All of them looked at him. They also agreed with that. Who wouldn't think like that? a scout mission to the Half-beast territory only with twenty soldiers?

".....i believe, the only reason is..."

"yeah...because we have sir Chillyd with us"

Khall got another information from them. His decision to eavesdrop in here started to show some results.

"just...need another informations"

A sound from behind him made him startled. He turned around and a sharp sword already pointed towards his face.

"look what i found when i patrolled..."

A very calm and cold voice came from a man in front of him. This man had a short blue hair and a pair of blue eyes with a cold expression on his face.

"monster? can you understand my words?"

"this...is bad..." Khall mumbled in his mind
