-cip cip-
Bird's sound could be heard. That's the sign for the morning had come.
-ckrek-
The door was opened and Marleus came into the room. He was looking at the Half-beast in front of him and showing a smile on his face.
"good..... it...works..."
-krrrrrrrrr-
Khall's head was facing down and there were some scratch marks on the floor. The iron chair was moved from the original position and the black chain still was wrapping Khall's body tightly.
His struggling was very visible through the entire room. That's how brutal Khall's rejection was.
Marleus approached him and checked his condition. Khall didn't move and show any hostility toward him.
"his pulse....stable...seems...he faint..."
He looked at the hourglass and nodded with a satisfied expression.
"phase two... continue.."
He took a small shard from his pocket and it emitted a dark malicious aura.
"elf.... couldn't....make it. Half-beast should... sufficient enough..."
He pushed him back and put the shard on right on the middle of his chest.
[REJECTION II]
A purple circle surrounded them and gave this calm aura. He pressed the shard into his chest while repeating some words.
"impurities shall perish....what we want remains...by the approval of our voracious god TAMTRA....what we want shall be granted..."
He kept repeating those words until the shard slowly turned into less dark than its original form. Its malicious aura also started to disperse in the air.
"this.....should be...enough"
He pressed the shard to Khall's chest and slowly the shard merged inside it. Right at that moment..
"KHAAAAAAAAAAA"
-zriig-
-criing-
Khall woke up and howled with everything that he got.
The shard made this burned reaction on his skin and his middle chest started to turn darker and darker.
"even after.... using my skill.... the effect still.... significant...."

-krrrrrrrrr-
"JUST KILL ME!!! HUMAN!!! ROGNIR'S CHILDREN WON'T HAVE THIS KIND OF HUMILIATION!!!"
"hmmm....kill you? why?... you want to be stronger.....right?" Marleus tilted his head
"kkghh...stronger you say?.... this humiliation won't.... kkghh... make me stronger...AAARGGGH!!"
Marleus laughed a little. He didn't expect this Half-beast would say that.
"can't you.... realize it?... you already.... three times stronger.... than before..."
-krrrrrrrrr-
"YOU!! CALLED THIS!! STRONGER?!!"
-brugh-
-whuuum-
He stomped the floor and made a crack on it.
"yes.... exactly...." He nodded
"Khaaaaaa!!!! it's.....hurt!!!"
"you must.....endure it ... just a little bit longer..."
Marleus went to the corner and turned the big hourglass and the sand started to flow again.
"good luck..... Half-beast...."
"HUMAN!!!"
He closed the door and Khall's voice still could be heard from the outside of the room.
"this...is..... exciting...." Marleus smiled again

-knock knock-
"Chanotte Chirvayne here"
"let him in"
Chanotte came in and saw Libhane sat behind his desk with Chillyd near him.
"please sit Chanotte"
"thank you"
Chanotte eyes didn't show any particular expression. It was almost like he was a machine without any emotion installed in him.
"so, about Half-beast village that is located southeast from here..." Libhane started the conversation
"assuming you already brought that monster here, you already found it right?" He looked at Chillyd
"yes sir Chanotte, you're correct"
"then, as we planned"
"yes Chanotte. I need your help to eliminate those monsters" Libhane replied
"understood commander. I'll prepare for my departure"
"wait, wait! do you need to rush like that?"
"hm? i don't see any reason why i should delay it"
"well...yes. Forget it, do it your way Chanotte. You are the chief of king's guard after all"
"leave it to me"

Chanotte stood up and headed to the door.
"I'll let them know, those one hundred soldiers"
"..... thank you commander"
-ckrek-
The door closed. There were only two of them now in the room. Chillyd leaned back and sighed with relieved face.
"haah, that chief... he's really strict and strange. Don't you think commander?"
"hahaha, that's what you will become Chillyd! if you have a stubborn justice and idealistic principle of humanity"
"i can clearly see that. Only some expeditions could make him turning into that kind of man.." He sighed again
"that's only natural. The more rigid you are then the more you will be crushed when you're bumped with the wall of reality"
"I pity him for that" Chilly shook his head
Libhane leaned foward and asked him.
"so, do you think those monsters have what they need to kill him?"
"of course commander, I've put one of my doll inside their village... and i've heard something promising"
"i see. If you say that, i don't need to worry about that matter" Libhane nodded
"anything else that you need commander?"
"no, nothing. You may leave now Chillyd. I need to take care about the capital request now"
"about the reinforcement? we really will send more than our one thousand soldiers to the capital?"
".... there's no other choice. At least for now"
"understood, forgive me to ask such question commander" Chillyd bowed
"it's okay Chillyd"
Chilly left the room. Libhane looked out of the window and thought about his plan.
"mythical monster huh? i hope it will really work.."

The Deathseeker [Under Revision]
NOTE: This story has dark elements, but it's neither grimdark nor particularly edgy. It's also currently being revised. Satan's Axe...Lord of High Honor...The Immortal Giant...The Black Maelstrom...Son of Thunderfield...The Gods' Retribution. Dalric had many names. None were as fitting as his last, Dalric the Deathseeker. Born from an unwanted mating between the greatest warriors of the time, death was his only true kin. It birthed him, molded him, and now standing in the middle of a lifeless battlefield, it drenched him. The blood of thousands of soldiers soaked his skin. Two hundred thousand men approached him that day. All of them sought his life, none of them left with theirs. But they would not die in vain, they had accomplished their mission. Hidden beneath a thousand layers of their blood, was Dalric's very own. Feeling his life fade, he gazed weakly at his work. A seemingly endless array of corpses laid battered and disfigured before him. Some bore faces of horror, most had no face at all. His most trusted companion floated in front of him, blocking the view. Waves of sorrow flowed between them. “My time has finally come. I’ve begged for death and it’s finally arrived. My work is done...and so is yours. You’re free to be who you were meant to.” With his contract with the gods fulfilled, they were truly free. The centuries of torment would end. No longer would they have to walk the path of a monster. Little did Dalric know, the devil was in the details. What To Expect: A good time. In a few more words than that, a cast of believable characters in a unique world dealing with conflicts and problems a little bit more complex than punching the big evil guy in the face. Just a little though. Minimum Word Count a Week: 5000 Release Time(s): Between Friday 12pm EST and Monday 6am EST I also write A King in the Clouds

Two Sides
Heroes and monsters are the staples of fantasy. Swords and magic, fairies and dragons, adventures and death; all things went hand in hand in some worlds not our own. Elaine Dawn grew up listening to those stories as a child, imagining, aspiring, yet as she grew she slowly lost her dreams and became detached from what the world could be, slowly becoming one with the world that was. Yet one night she found herself in a dream that became reality, and oh there they were; heroes and monsters, swords of steel, magic of tales, fairies and dragons of old, and adventures that held riches and death both. She had no fantastic magic, no supernatural strength. All she had was herself, her coin, and her life. But that was enough. As she stared into the distance, to the mountain-sized horrors of the night, she smiled and tossed her coin once again.
