Mugha opened his eyes and Shanti gave him a small piece of cloth to wipe his tears.
"..thank you Shanti"
"....i must say that i am glad to see you crying just now"
"why? the leader of Ohre tribe fighters was crying... that's really a shame"
Shanti laughed and tapped his shoulder.
"it's not. At the very least, no one in this village is thinking it like that"
"i see...."
The elder put his staff and relaxed his back and shoulders.
"haah... this kind of situation is nice for once in awhile.."
"I'm glad you can rest for now father"
"but seriously.. your wish is... this? are you sure about it my son?"
"ahaha, of course father. Just like you said, i don't have any hobby or interest at all"
"...hmm, i hoped for something.. i mean, this is the earthly feasting festival.. maybe you can be honest with yourself"
"what do you mean father? this is truly my only wish.. to spend my time with my family and i don't have to think about my duty or anything else"
"yes, that's why i feel a little.... worry.. but i guess this is the real you"
"that's what i intended to do for my last time father.. ."
He stopped his words and crouched while closing his eyes.
His body trembled a little bit and they could hear him crying again.
"-fuuh- guess this is truly the best for you....my son..."
Shanti hugged him while the elder just looked into the night sky.
That situation lasted for few minutes.

In the test field, Khall was facing a Wapeer.
-hrrrrrrr-
-krrrrrrrrr-
Both of them was just staring at each other. This Wapeer height almost matched his. Marleus observed them while the soldiers felt uneasy at the corner of the room.

"sir..... is this going to be alright? should we prepare for battle?"
"no..... need... the demon shard..... attract....monster....."
"you want to say that Wapeer will only target that monster.....sir?"
"....yes...."
"understood.."
-zrrg-
The Wapeer pulled its long tail and started to move. It was trying to observe the monster in front of it.
Khall didn't move nor show any reaction. He just stood there.
-whuup-
-buugh-
A very fast strike came from Wapeer's tail. It cleanly hit Khall's face.
Seeing no response from its enemy, The Wapper decided moving back and took a stance to do another attack.
-krrrrrrrrr-
Khall stared at his enemy and didn't show any particular reaction. That quite hard strike from the Wapeer didn't do any damage for him.
"the physical... resistance...is good...." Marleus wrote that in his little note
-hrrrooo-
The Wapeer lunged with its claws ready to tear its enemy, yet Khall still didn't move.
-zraash-
Fresh bloods were splattered on the floor. This time, the attack was giving him enough pain to react.
"KHAAAAAAAAAAA"
Khall dashed foward while howling. He stretched his hands to catch his enemy, but the Wapeer already took one step back.
While spinning its body, it swung its tail.
-buugh-
A clean strike to Khall's face. The Wapeer expected its enemy's movement to stop yet Khall kept moving forward.
-krrrrrrrrr-
-khiing-
A sound could be heard from the collision between Khall's teeth. He was trying to bite his enemy.
The Wapeer kept its distance and threw some attacks hoping that could make its enemy tired and down, but that never happened.
It didn't need a long time to make the Wapeer cornered and lost its distance with Khall.
-hrrrrrrr-
It threw its claws to rip its enemy's head, but Khall was faster. He lowered his head and pushed foward.

-kraus-
Khall's sharp teeth sank deeply into Wapper's shoulder. A pain howling could be heard as the reaction.
-zreesh-
Khall pulled his head and the Wapeer's shoulder was shredded by those sharp teeth. Fresh blood came out.
The Wapeer reaction became slower because of the pain and that meant a bad luck for it.
-kraus-
Another attack from Khall, his teeth now were sinking in his enemy's neck.
-zreesh-
It was a fatal wound this time. The Wapeer tried to do another attack but Khall dogded it easily.
From that point, it was just a massacre.
-kraus-
-kraus-
"GHIIIIIK!!"
The Wapeer's suffering scream filled the room.
The soldiers were very disgusted by the scenery in front of them.
-blurrggh-
One of them puked on the floor. He couldn't handle that.
"that..monster... is eating that Wapeer...uugh"
"no kidding.. do that monster race normally eat the other race like that?"
One of the soldiers realized something.
"!! that meat colour... don't you think?!"
"holy mother.... pardon me, sir Marleus..."
"hm... what's.....wrong?"
"could be the meats that we gave to that monster this whole time were..... Wapeer's?"
"you just..... realized that....now?" He tilted his head
"-glup- and why would you do that.... sir?"
".... explain...is troublesome...."
"ah, forgive me sir"
"KHAAAAAAAAAAA"
Khall shouted his war cry. The blood stench was filling up the entire room.
"good.... let's.... move....to the next phase...."
All of the soldiers in the room were showing their tired face.
"just....when will this be over..."
