《Thirsty for Blood》The guild

I'm in front of the guild right now, I push the door and see the usual scene every time I come here. People gathering in one area to form a party, others talking to the receptionists to get some contracts, some taking a look at some of the bounties in one board, it's a lively place if you ask me as long as you don’t remember the deaths a party had or the horrible things they might have done in one of their contracts. Being a mercenary isn't the dream job everybody wants.
I walk towards Sylia who's entertaining another mercenary about a contract and I wait for her to finish before I approach. When she finishes talking with that mercenary I step in and lean against the counter and ask.
“Sylia, you got any extermination jobs?”
She answers back with “let me check for a second.
Sylia goes behind the counter and after a while she comes back with some papers and hands them to me. I take a look at the jobs she gave me and Arn gives me advice telepathically.
“You should take the one with many Zokun, the more there are, the more time you have before it comes back, and besides you're going to need the coins right?”
“It's not like I need it, but it’ll work anyway.” I reply back to him in my head
Following that I continue looking for that type of contract.
“Santi I just remembered that the guild master wanted to meet you, he says that he'll need you for something important”. Sylia tells me while I rummage around the papers. Meanwhile my fingers are twitching instinctively, it’s getting worse. I better hurry before the day ends.
“Tell him that I got something important to do as well, don't worry I'll be back in a day or two I'm sure he can wait.” I assure her.

“If that's what you say then I'll relay it to him after this”. She says.
“You’d better reject that, who knows how long that can last.” Arn says to me
“That’s what I’m planning to do, besides this thing is getting worse already, my fingers are already twitching.” I reply back to him.
This contract that I found seems good enough, a band of 40 Trimeri with the reward of 10 gold and that’s a high reward for the high risks. The thing is Trimeri are Zokun along the middle tier considering the fact that they have 4 arms and slightly stronger and faster than the average Quaranman.
They seem to be located west of Winstow in the plains near a village. A passing caravan saw them and rushed to the guild to offer this to us, the reason is just simple, the trade routes are going to be disrupted if they aren’t wiped out.
As far as I know about Trimeri they're brown-skinned, have a height of 6 feet at least, they have a tendency to just charge in at whatever creature they find and use that as food. They only use primitive weapons and whatever they can find from their fallen enemies as well. They won’t even hesitate to charge at something that looks humanoid.
But that is what makes them predictable. With enough preparation even 1 person could do it assuming he knows what he’s doing but that’s only with a dozen or less Trimeri it’s a different story if it’s somewhere along the lines of around 2 dozen or more.
I pick up the contract and handed it over it Sylia.
“It’s been some time since you picked a contract like this again.” She says looking gloomy.
“Sylia I won’t die from something like this, remember that time I took on an army of goblins? This is way easier than that.” I assure her making sure that I come back alive from this.

“Just remember Santi, when you come back immediately report to the guild master, don’t worry I’ll tell him that what you need to do is urgent. I’ve seen you a couple of times that you always come back from these types of jobs. Although I do not know the reason why you keep doing this I’ll leave this to your discretion.”
Trying to force a smile from her face even though I understand her worries. It’s not easy when someone you know might be going to his death. Even so this is a part of my lifestyle.
She proceeds to confirm that I’m accepting this contract, by filling up some pages here and there. Sylia gives me the sign that everything is okay and I can proceed on doing my contract.
“Tell the guild master that I’m sorry that I can't meet him today, it just isn’t good timing right now. I’ll try to meet him again tomorrow. I promise you that.” Waving my hand at her whilst leaving the establishment.
While I was leaving I saw a hooded figure going inside the building and what made the person unique is that this person has blood red hair. But I have no time to notice other details when leaving for the market

The Programmer's Dungeon [Progression, LitRPG]
Vincent, a college student from Earth, has been transported to another world full of strange powers and fantastic monsters. Ideally, this would be the start of his journey to become a legendary hero, build an everlasting empire, and gather a personal harem. But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words.
