《Brawling Beauty Adventure》Chapter 4 Golden Dusk

Two days went by in a flash, and not before long, it was the morning of full moon.
Preparing some things for her journey and having received a red robe from Serkzyl, Zeki sets off along a foot path pointed out by Serkzyl leading to the shrine where the inheritance ceremony will take place.
According to her teacher, Serkzyl, the shrine is northwards from the lodging, however, she will have to travel east along the path to get there, but that is no problem, now she has time to gather her thoughts and evaluate the information of her memories.
But before that, [ Origin System Notification-
-2 Gifts received
-Dimension Pouch
-Shadow Patch]
Zeki has heard about gifts that could be sent over, however, that has to be done through the network before departure.
Taking a closer look at the 2 items, with only 0.1 % of her first seal being active, Zeki is at least capable of connecting with the Origin System-
[ Dimension Pouch-
A gift from your sister
- Little siser, I heard that you will be going out on your first Origin trip, this is just something I thought of, don't think too much of it okay; Big Sis Kiez]
Looking at the message left behind by her sister, she can but only give a wry smile while shaking her head and thus proceed to the next item-
[Shadow Patch-
A gift from a student
- Hello, my name is Bhainz, and I, too, am going on my first Origin trip. I hope that you find it useful, it is something I have spent some time on developing and the result was:
a patch-like cloth that when placed on your shadow it will dissolve into it
-easy movement in the shadows
-upgradeable
Ps. I have added a manual to it, so I hope that all of you will find it easy to use

"Interesting, I guess I will look into it at a later time, but before that-", Zeki proceeds along the path on the right after travelling through the forest entrance north from the houses.
Taking out the map given to her by Serkzyl, on it, the entire island is depicted, however, some areas are not to be entered as it is too dangerous for a 14 year old girl without rank.
The eastern path goes 10km ahead and from that point, she is to take the path to her left, leading to the lake, northwest of the bend.
While walking, Zeki looks at her surroundings, and what comes into view are tall trees to her right and left, standing tall at 15-20m, whereas, below, shrubs and tree stumps.
Until reaching the 10km mark at the end, Zeki has been thinking about her family and her little sister, Loran and her mother Yeufi, which, kind of reminds her of her twin sister Kiez, even though the Violet Fox clan are nothing alike the family she has here, yet, even so, there are still similarities.
Thinking these thoughts, which usually arise when one is on a journey, you know, thinking of that which is familiar, Zeki reaches the end of the footpath, proceeding northwest from it and leaving behind the cave entrance that was at the end of the 10km path.
The forest is very quiet, so in no time Zeki reaches the lake.
The lake is about 5km in length and 2km in breadth, understanding this, Zeki moves along the path that goes around the lake where she then arrives at a hill.
According to the map, she is to travel northeast until she reaches a shrine before a cliff.
Along the way, Zeki thinks back to her Violet Fox Clan mother, and realises that she cannot recall much, just that her parents were always away so she and her sister were always together up until the day her mother came by and took her sister from the palace, leaving Zeki with the maids for 6 years before setting off on her own to the Origin continent at 18 years old.

Not before long, Zeki reaches the shrine before the cliff. Walking up to the stone structure, before looking up at the darkening sky, Zeki enters through the passage.
Inside the stone structure, Zeki sits on the mat placed on the floor. The stones inside glow white from the bottom, however, the stones further up the wall are not yet illuminated.
While waiting for the stones to light up and the moon to be full, Zeki looks into the manual compiled by Bhainz for the Shadow Patch.
The introduction starts with a description that the Shadow Patch represents isolation and further goes to explain that it can attach and separate, yet it is not designed for overshadowing, rather, for assistance.
Six chapters of the manual are categorised by Structure, Barrier, Central, Discs, Evolution and Fundamentals. Which, in turn, have 2 parts, 5 parts, 8 parts, 8 parts, 5 parts and 2 parts to it each, respectively, of course.
There is, however, an overview of the manual; something about it's design and how it can grow and evolve towards a particular path such as armour.
Looking at the stones lighting up, Zeki notes that it is nearly time. All the stones in the room light up and so does the floor.
The moonlight travels to the stone shrine where Zeki then bathes in a warm glow. The stones sparkle like starlight before a beam of light enters through her eye on the left causing her to close it.
A ball of light forms on her right eye and in her mind- complete silence. She closes her right eye.
Opening her eyes, Zeki notices that the stones no longer glow and at that moment, in her mind, [ Prayer Link: Priestess of Silence Rank received], and then [ Origin System: Congratulation on obtaining {Priestess} rank-

The Calculator - Supervillainess Time Loop
What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things? Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory. Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask. That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile. Crossposting on ScribbleHub, SpaceBattles, and Wattpad. Don't mind the "Pre-Rewrite" Volume. It is there for reference until the story catches up to the chapter count via the Rewrite (and to justify the current reviews as there would be no context to them otherwise). If you are a first-time reader, feel free to start from the other Volume.

The Supervillain Tries Playing Games to Relax
After yet another hard day of work, William Ainsworth, a National-Level Villain and the CEO of Hound Corporation is surprised with a birthday gift from his head scientist. The gift turns out to be a VR-headset, and after some convincing, William decides to try it, joining a fantasy-styled VRMMORPG alongside thousands of other players. In this new world where he suddenly isn't feared, he finds unlikely friends and allies, including such characters as Tin, a popular girl hiding her nerdier tendencies, Track, a NEET hidden away for the good of the world, George, a military field doctor trying to learn combat and Chrys, a Superhero in-training trying to learn how to fight. At first, William wouldn't consider these oddballs to be any important to him, but after being stuck with them for long enough, they might just let him melt his icy exterior. ------- -In a world where Superheroes and Villains have existed for only a few meagre generations, this story will focus on how a stoic supervillain comes to befriend people when he hasn't ever been allowed to get close to anyone. Imagine it like a sort of Boku no Hero Academia where the big bad villain is playing the same game as the kids, which happens to be a similar game to Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. The story will take place in both the real world and the game and these plots will interact and intersect. Characters will be fleshed out as the story goes along. Enjoy!

I Am Not A Humanity's Traitor (Isekai LitRPG)
Ren is a reincarnated person. His new world had the same name as his old one, Earth. But that was the extent of the resemblances. Ren has a skill as well, or at least he was told he did, but he had no inkling of how to use it. He was disheartened at first but his goal wasn't the path to power, all he wanted from this world was to continue the peaceful life, but the world didn't even provide him with that. A luminous pillar descended upon him and one of his classmates. Goddess Helastia, one of the most revered goddess, called them to herself, probably not a good news. However, there, he finds that a group of heroes has been summoned from his past world to confront the Devils that will be rising soon. But contrary to his assumption of being a hero himself, she referred to him as a reincarnated imposter. She labeled both of them as Humanity's Traitors and sends them into a dungeon where they were supposed to live. That is, with their masters and comrades, the Devils and their minions. The monsters in the dungeon were not likely to accept them as allies, instead, they were out to devour the delicacies that appeared in their home. Only despair awaited them. ---------------------------------------------------------- This novel is inspired from Neets's parallel world syndrome, Abnormal state skill and bunch of other jp novels, this is also my first time writing a web novel. Also English isn't my native language, so, sorry in advance. The pic in the cover is taken from pixabay and edited by me.

Forced Development (What does it truly mean to live a fulfilling life?)
To get things started I would like to admit that this story does not bring much new to the table when it comes to the over-saturated Litrpg genre in terms of things like mechanics and power systems. Then what exactly am I trying to bring to the table with this work? A nice slow-paced novel about people maturing and growing older think of it as the re: zero or jobless reincarnation of Litrpgs. A story that tries to take into consideration how a worldwide system would affect the economics and culture of a world. A story that is much more character-focused than the typical heavy progression-focused novels this genre is known for. The RPG system, like any good power system, is there to actually explore the themes of the story and not just as a plot device for characters to get stronger. This is a story where we will see the growth of the Mc from being a baby to when he dies of old age. With plenty of heart-racing actions and intriguing plot developments along the way. Exploring themes like; What does it mean to improve at something and what does it mean to mature as a person? How does magic, the constant threat of monsters and people so much stronger than the average joe that they can destroy countries affect one's culture both on the micro and the macro scale? How people are affected by the culture in general? Generational trauma Nature vs Nurture Talent vs hard work What is morality, society, and people's opinions on both? What does it mean to be human and what does it mean to be alive in the context of a world with multiple sapient species vastly different from one another in basic biology? All these questions are going to be explored from multiple angles using the system as a catalyst for those discussions. So if any of does questions sound interesting to you what are you waiting for, I'm sure you are going to love this story. PS - Chapter come out every Friday at about the same time.
