《Anilink》Chapter 04: What is your name? A new friendship starts!

The scene looked like a war zone, with destroyed robots among the wreckage, some defeated people, and animals being carried by the nurses to the infirmary. The academy nurses had some big badass mecha suits to carry large animals. Sam had a couple of bruises, but nothing like what the wolf guy or the stupid blonde had. Sam kept thinking about what were those four-armed robots, and why they didn't appear when the instructions were presented. Were they some kind of surprise opponents? Would they be worth any additional points? The next morning would answer it all with the exam results.

While getting back to his dorm, Sam was thinking about the amazing connection and power generated when he and the puppy were working together (and the lovely creature wasn't sleepy). "Hey, fluffy thing, how should I call you?", Sam kept thinking while petting the dog with a hand and searching for his keys with the other.

"First, let me see: Are you a boy or a girl?" The answer was pretty quick since she started to take a piss in his entrance carpet. "So, I already know that you're a strong-minded lovely creature, after all, we summoned an AWESOME black katana, right? Let's try this again!" Sam tried to summon, but everything he heard was his stomach asking for some food. He started to think about what kind of recipe to do, and by the smell, he could know what ingredients were stored in his fridge. "RIGHT! Now that is happening to me, I forgot to remember what kinds of skills the anilink connection can do!". Sam was thinking about how useful an augmented sense of smell could be when the happy thought was interrupted by a word: farts. Anyway, he needed to prepare the dinner and rest, that a long and exhausting day of the exam.

He knew what to do: The awesome karaage rice bowl, one of mom's special recipes. He already had some steamed rice stored in the fridge, so the main focus was on the chicken. Sam seasoned it with love and all kinds of sweet and spicy things while listening to some great disco songs. When he started frying the juicy chicken strips, he noticed the puppy by his side, looking closely and waiting for her snack. Sam could see that the dog inherited his heterochromia, having a green and a brown eye. "So, I guess we're linked for our life, right?" He started petting the creature, giving her a bite of a chicken strip. The lovely creature started to growl with joy, demanding more of the delicious food. He seated right next to the dog, admiring how it was eating the food with so much happiness. "You really loved this, right? I know, so I will name you KARA! What do you think?" The creature barked while waggling its tail.

It was defined.

That night, Sam and Kara didn't have a clue about the future but were happy about the delicious meal and each other company. They rested and did a small competition about who snored louder and Kara won.
