His thought gave birth to four mighty creatures; The turtle, the dragon, the phoenix and the quilin, and the hundred humanoid descendants of him.

The turtle was massive; it’s shell covering several hundred of kilometers, it’s feet made hundred meter marks when it walked. It attained the creator’s longevity and sturdiness.

The dragon was thousand of kilometers long; it’s wingspan several kilometers wide. Symbolizing strenght and aggression, it was the strongest of them all.

The phoenix was merely a thousand meters big. But from it burned the flames of never-ending. And when it died it was reborn from its ashes.

The quilin was the smallest and most special of them all. It had gotten the wisdom and righteousness of the creator, and punished those wicked without remorse. It only appeared when it senses evil.

The hundred humanoid creatures were given a part of everything. They were born in Pan Gu’s image, albeit smaller than Pan Gu. From these hundred men an women, two leaders emerged, Pan and Yama. Pan was an intelligent and passive existence while Yama was strong, aggressive and born with a righteous mind.

But emotions are never easy to control. They were like oil and water and therefore could not coexist. And as avatars of the creator, they were proud and aloof. in the end a war broke out as they discussed on what to do with the last piece of Pan Gu, his brain.

Yama wanted to use the brain to create more life; to fulfill their creators last wish to make the world full of life. He wanted to create more creatures of Pan Gu’s image, honoring his legacy, while Pan wanted to expand their world. And no matter what, they couldn’t agree. Half of the humanoids stood on Yama’s side, the other on Pan’s side.

As they fought, their gigantic Bodies caused volcanoes to erupt, storms to brew and waves to roll. They fought bitterly and the blood spilled transformed into formless energy that sunk into the ground, which trillions and trillions of years later, became known as formless energy pools containing ancient power able to raise one's cultivations several stages.

Finally, only eleven on each side were left. After the gruesome battle with seventy six of their kins killed, both sides decided to stop the fighting. It took years, but they finally made the decision to split the brain in half.

But no matter how they tried, they couldn’t find the knowledge in themselves to use the brain. It was only until several years later that they discovered the energy of the world. The sun’s rays gave yang energy to the lands and the moonlight gave yin energy.

With the knowledge of energy in the world and the wisdom of Pangu, they began to invent ways to increase their power and longevity by inhaling the energy in special ways. They began to understand the mysteries of the universe; how it came to be, and how the yin and yang energy intermingled.

Pan and his followers created a residence above the sky, they called it heaven. It was lying on top of the once half egg shell. Pan named himself emperor Pan and his followers to the emperors of Pan. With their high cultivation they could survive in that formless, ancient darkness outside the sky and earth. They named it space. As they began to explore the world, they found other pieces of the eggshell. These pieces had been growing since the beginning of time, and were miniature skies and earths themselves, Pan called them planets and stars.

Yama created the humans and animals, while Pan created the eternal valley of blossom inside the residence of heaven. Yama and his followers took a different route than Pan and his followers. With their knowledge and wisdom gained by Pangu, they created hell also known as Diyu. When humans and animals died they were judged there upon their karma.

Karma was the accumulation of good and bad deeds. Good karmic points would let one go through the nine cycles of rebirth and gain a new life. But with bad karmic, one would endure the circles of hell until the whole punishment had been taken. The time they spent in the circles of hell depended on the bad karmic points accumulated. After the time had been spent, they would go through the nine cycles of rebirth and gain a new life. All together, it became known as samsara; the repeating cycles of birth, life and death. The cycle of reincarnation.

Yama became the head judge of hell, king Yama, and his ten followers became the ten judges of hell, the ten kings of Yama. They judged the deceased dead and took them to the nice circles of hell where they were tormented until their punishment to be finished and also to renew the soul, making them ready for the next reincarnation or they brought them directly to the nine circles of rebirth. Memories were wiped clean each new life, to not disturb the harmony of the universe.

Later, they discovered Taos. There were multiple Taos in the universe, each describing a different principle. Mastering a Tao gave the wielder the ability to use the principle behind it. Later, for humankind, it became known as the heart’s path. The path of one’s heart, guiding one to immortality.

The legendary four creatures; The dragon, The turtle, The phoenix and the quilin became myths for mankind. They were rarely seen, especially the quilin. Each of the legendary creatures offered up their bodies and minds to duplicate themselves into a female and a man.

The female and male legendary creatures began to reproduce. And soon, four clans were created. The dragon clan, the turtle clan, the phoenix clan and the quilin clan. And with their knowledge and wisdom they knew that only bad things would come if they reproduced too much. Therefore, each of the clans stayed at hundred members each.

*Trillions of trillions years later*

A middle-aged man looked at a newborn baby, holding him within his hands. His voice shook as warm tears furrowed path on his face.

"Pan and his emperors will be any moment. I love you and will always do. Remember, you are the son of the second, therefore destined for greatness! We have to part now, time is running short. Avenge your clan, your family and your mother!

The man flashed his sleeves "poof!" The baby nowhere to be seen. Moments after, the doors to the palace hall were blown open. But instead of running away, the man closed his eyes, "Live well my son."
