《An NPC Challenges the Dark Lord(LN)》Vol 1. Chapter 7: The World of Warfare

“You have all been chosen today as my very own Council. I’d like to know all our enemies.”
Well the Game God is supposed to code updates but I guess I am the most knowledgeable of the warring nations.
The seat consisted of six elderly men and Prince Gabriel and the Game God. The elders are most likely generals.
“May I begin, Prince?”
No one in the room has questioned why the supreme leader is Prince and not King.
Memory manipulation is interesting.
“The World of War has 4 continents. Two are on the Southernmost and Northernmost of the world known as the Frost Regions. These are advanced civilizations that have mastered the snowy terrain and have advanced civilization to frostpunk. Any outsider freezes upon landing on the Frost Regions and so conquering these regions is near impossible.”
The Prince was very interested in the device that freezes outsiders.
“Then there’s Navy Island. An island-continent with the most advanced war machines submerged in water. Legend says they have a war machine that could defeat our Kraken. Directly above is the Skybase which we don’t consider as a continent.”
The Medieval Kingdom currently ruled by Prince Gabriel relies heavily on monster warfare but only the Cave Territories would lose to such.
“I’d like to know the enemies that surround us.”
“My Prince, we are surrounded by the Advanced Empire, The Cyborgs, Past Empire and the Ancient Empire. It is best to hire the agent of all to learn more.”
“I shall create the gold needed for the services.”
I know these empires 100% but I also know where this is going.
“Anyone in this Council who does not agree with world peace by world domination may die. We are always at war because there is no unity. I will unite all nations by force. Then all worlds.”

It’s more because I designed the game world that way…
All worlds??? This is far worse than Yami.
“I’m here. Yo.”
Ghost teleported right in the center of the throne room enjoying the red carpet.
Ghost is just an alias; I have not checked the records for the true name of this agent…
“Mr. Ghost. We would like information on everything you can find from our surrounding enemies. Most importantly, the war machines they have created.”
“Ah I’m hired for storytelling then?”
“I know you have not visited any of the empires in weeks. Perhaps there is something new.”
“If there’s nothing new I’m still taking the pay.”
“Very well. Go.”
He left quickly and I should follow him. He’s starting with the Ancient Empire.
“My Prince, I shall excuse myself. I must pray.”
“That sounds like you’re leaving the council. Ignite.”
My whole body was engulfed in flames but I am quite alright.
“Back to you? I’m not leaving the Council I assure you.”
The Prince panicked as his soft pale skin darkened. He quickly got rid of the fire but did not get rid of his anger.
“That was a crime against your Prince! I can punish you.”
“You can’t even ignite me, how can you punish me? I guess I’ll leave then.”
This boy is getting ahead of himself. I could erase him but I’d rather let The Dark Lord do the deed.
The boy threw a tantrum and kept firing all the stolen magic he’s accumulated and none of them hurt me. All the elders in the table were killed and disfigured from the process.
I smiled back at the boy.
“You know what comes next right?”
Lightning. Fireball. Black Pulse and many more. I simply returned the impact.

Looks like I defeated my creation without my own hands! He’s breathing so he’ll be back.
This reminds me when Yami tried to kill me with the ashes but I simply returned it to him, of course I knew he could reabsorb the ashes unharmed. Time to follow Agent Ghost.
The Ancient Empire looked good architecturally. The marble was put to good use. They can be easily defeated though as they are stuck in the time of spears, shields and swords.
Then Agent G found something buried beneath as treasure outside the empire. An armor that’s immune against explosions and bullets. Perhaps they have a chance if they find someone who can duplicate such.
He hurried to the gates of the Past Empire. The dark green did not come from the grass but the war machines called tanks. The area was filled with tanks, planes, bombs and the soldiers also wore the same green. Ghost was disappointed they did not have a trump card.
Maybe I should put color variation for soldier uniforms...in the next update.
The Cyborgs have been always the same as they’ve reached the peak of their technology. Most Cyborgs are engineered to be resistant to low level magic and physical attacks. Bullets would never work.
Now for the Advanced/Future Empire...Agent Ghost was caught for the first time.
“Why have you betrayed us, Ghost?”
The leader confronted Ghost in a futuristic laboratory. The wires looked sentient. Floating around and waiting for the command to be activated probably activating a deadly trap.
“It’s been a long time Echo...I thought I was retired but this is my last mission.”
“The rumor is true then that you work for all empires. Therefore you betrayed everyone which is a serious war crime. We cannot let you go unpunished.”
“Do your worst”
Ghost spit on Echo’s face
“I wanted to chat, that's why we didn’t cover your face. We have no need for a Ghost as we cannot believe in such. We are too advanced to rely on ghosts for our operations. Perhaps you can be something else...”
“I don’t think you’ll give a fair deal”
“Our technology may be advanced but we still need souls to power the Destroyer. Think of it as...uploading your soul and you will be recognized as our Empire’s hero.”
“The machine will be recognized. We won’t.”
“I’m not here to argue. It's time to set up the ‘upload’ as I can no longer wait. I can’t wait to have every territory under my control and evolve their civilizations.”
This is illegal to use player souls in order to power a war machine...though it’s very interesting that all this time this was possible. I never thought of using souls this way, the only way I’ve known is, well, the way Demon Lords use souls.
Well before telling Yami, I'd like to see who actually achieves world domination. I should set up a screen in the Realm of Gods so my fellows gods can watch.
