why did i even do this
The story is not abandoned! Still, I've only written a page in the past ten months, and I've been drawing a lot. The full motivation still has not kicked in, but I hope to try to continue writing this year!
This break was supposed to be a short one, although the thiings that happened last year were beyond my control. i suppose it was pretty much writer's block. The ideas that I wanted to write keep coming, but I just can't bring myself to type them all down (and it doesn't help that I paused on a critical part of the story). Instead, I diverted more towards drawing, which I frankly prioritizes more than writing. Drawing became more fun than before I dropped art uni, but I hope to manage some time for writing moving forward.
To be very transparent, the chapters on my backlog are still currently eight, and that has remained the same for months now. I still don't have any plans on ending the story yet or rather I still don't have a clear vision of how this will end, but if ever I return on releasing chapters it is most likely going to be on a very staggered release unless I feel confident on the amount of chapters I will be able to accumulate on my backlog. Also, most likely, I will opt to do shorter chapters, perhaps not longer than 3000 words and hope to find a rhythm from that. I believe that I completely stopped writing back in May last year, and I'll try to not make this pause last for a year!
I miss writing and illustrating for this story so I'm not to going to let this WN get axed by myself.
I shall see you in 146!

Maybe it would have been a good idea not to wish for a harem? Completed
Mackay and Seff were two typical high school boys, happily making grandiose fantasies about their future relationships with girls. Of course, in reality, neither knew a single girl to even talk to, let alone do anything more. So, one day, in one of their reality free discussions, they each made a wish for a harem. They got their wishes. Sort of... Things get complicated. Very complicated. They may come to regret their wishes. Oh, they also get mixed up with at bit of a police procedural. This story has multiple characters and multiple Points of View. Every POV change is clearly marked with a new header. Inside each POV section, the POV character’s thoughts are in italics. This fiction is fully written and proof read (that is, a poor man’s proof read with the help of Word). It comes to about 90,000 words (about 330 RoyalRoad pages). It will be published in 19 chapters, roughly one chapter per day. Reviews and comments are much appreciated. And if you actually read all the way to the end, I will be extremely grateful if you could post a comment saying so. After all, the whole point of me publishing this is to share the story with at least one other person, and to know about it. And, yes, I don’t have any graphic artist skills. How did you guess?
