《SEVENTH STREET SUCKERS》Chapter 5: See what I See?

All I could see was dark all over, I was feeling empty, but I was slowly remembering a few things..
I edged onto endless blackend space that was surrounding me... There was not a single ounce or droplet of light source, but I could see every inch of me.
There was no one there, just an empty bountless space of pitched out blackness that seemed like I had been swallowed by something, but the funny thing is that I could see my body and every spot of myself.
However, I did not feel alone.
There was someone, or something around this void with me, I felt like it was also keeping me awake, or with feeling.
Its odd but it feels like its trying to help me but it can't do much.
I could hear its voice, but couldn't deter what or if it was actually saying something. I felt like it was screaming but with a whisper.
I started to feel like I was getting pulled away slowly from the faint whispering scream from the blackened space. Soon enough, Light had shown, and I had covered myself to open my eyes.
S... S... S...
I had opened my eyes towards a semi-destroyed cieling that was breaking light through the room I had woken up in.
I had tried to lift myself up from the soft bed I had been resting in, I had guessed that I have been asleep this whole time, but I don't remember why I had been sleeping in the first place.
The room I was in had a giant opening at the top corner which allowed the light from outside to seep in, although the room was not half bad, it had looked like it had been cleared out from what could have been the debris.
A broken door, no windows, cieling was destroyed open, and there was a rug that looked new but hasn't been cleaned in what looks like many days.
It still had looked fairly clean above all.
As I was slowly picking myself off from the bed I could feel pain from all over, and It hurt a lot but I still forced myself up, doing so however made the bed creak slightly from the weight of my body.
'was my body this heavy?' I thought to myself.
It was just too odd, I haven't felt this way before.
Soon enough though, I decided I would get up off this bed, but everytime I had moved I made noise, so much so that could attract a lot of attention anyone even Jack.
'Hold on... Jack? Who's Jack?' I pondered on the things that I had been thinking about for the past moment.
All the while I had been dazed trying to figure out what the hell I was thinking about. I begin to hear footsteps coming from outside the room I am currently in.
Slowly step by every step, it came closer to the broken door, and as it creaked by the front of the door it the handle was turning.

upon the door opening, a familiar white haired boy with dark toned skin had appeared. It was Jack.
"You're finally awake aren'cha?"
I glanced and turned my head sidways.
"Finally?"
"You've been dream'in for a while, are ya doing okay?"
He had a worried expression on his face, I didn't know if I was okay, but out of courtesy of not worrying him.
"I feel like I got slapped in the face with a fish"
he chuckle.
"That just means yer' alive buddy, I'm glad"
Hearing him say that made me feel a bit more better than what I felt when I had woken up.
"How long have I been asleep... Or rather, What happened?"
For the moment that I questioned him, He creeped up closer and reached for his back pocket with his hand and pulled out a black spherical object.
"Although I was waiting for you ta' wake up, wouldn't be sure if you would remember"
Reeling it up to my face with his hand, He frowned.
"Its Busted"
I took a look at what he was trying to show me, and it was a node, looked fine but obscure, like something I had never seen.
At this moment It had all clicked to me, and I had remembered what had happened.
"If you remember what happened or not, this node was a trap, how we even found it was an amazing discovery, things like these don't come around so often, bu~t"
Pulling it back from me, he moved it around and clicked on small fissures of the node with ease and accuracy.
It was like he had been playing with it while I was out of the count for a while.
"After that explosion happened, this stupid thing reset, I'm not sure what happened but it just changed colour and opening it just does nothing"
He flickered with it over and over but nothing happened, the node didn't have its shine like it did when we had found it.
Thinking back on what happened I wondered how Jack took the force of the explosion and still seemed in better condition than I was.
"Well, with this, we've got to keep looking around for that stuff, theres always stuff in the old decrepit zones that people left" Jack looked off, but he still sounded determined about finding it to help those other kids.
"Still, Before we do that, we have to take measures to care about ourselves, How can we help others if we can't help ourselves" While in bed and saying this, I thought Jack could understand... However.
"Hahahaha, ya' sound like a nerd" He laughed while pointing at me.
"whaaa?? Who are you calling a nerd?? You're the one who knows more about me of these streets than anyone else!" I wasn't mad but..
Okay maybe I was.
"Anyways nerd, c'mon, lets go get something ta' eat, you've slept for two days"
Two whole days? Thats a lot for a kid like me to recover from, I never expected this body to be so fragile.

I tried getting up from the bed by myself, but with this much weight, it was difficult.
Jack, grabbed my arm and pulled it over his sholder.
"Here lemme help"
Without any hesitation, my friend lifted me up, although he can tell how heavy it was, he still smiled and was willing to help me.
I don't know how or why, but I could never have a better friend than Jack.
S... S... S...
When I had asked jack how he was able to get me from the surface into the sewers and into the mansion, he declared that hes the strongest in the world.
I can't go wrong with that.
Once we reached the living room, the whole place was different from how destroyed it was in the first few times I had seen it.
Not a single piece of dirt or rubble in sight, the only thing was a few of the destroyed parts that it had.
"Jack, I think you've outdone yourself with just these few days"
Jack laughed and looked around.
"Can't stop now though, theres still alot to do".
The Windows had been boarded up quite well, and there had been a lot of fix ups to the whole body of the stairs as well as the gigantic carpet that had been strewn about in the whole place.
There were many things left unmentioned but i decided not to dwell on those side of things for now.
He helped me down onto a chair that he had made purely out of scrap metals, and pipes, he also used a ton of rags on the edges as to not cut ourselves.
I never thought for him to be the thinker, but maybe hes more than meets the eye.
"Ill bring some stuff I got earlier from the marketplaces on the surface"
"Okay, Ill stay here for a bit to get a better hold of my body"
Watching him leave, I noticed something.
I can feel something screaming... But I can't hear it....
S... S... S...
(Small Sidestory)
Upon entering a facility, A well dressed Man in a luxurious automobility vehicle is denied entrance.
With his window rolled down, and speaking to a unknown controlled machine, he makes a strong stance with his words.
The red light indicated by the Machine can easily allow or deny the entrance to the man because of his rejected E.I. Bracer.
"Are you Kidding me? Please call the head office, there is something wrong with this thing again as always"
"Yes Sir, we will address to the problem immediately, please excuse us"
As the minutes fly by, soon enough, the man controlling the machine profusely apologizes and the red light by given order changes from red to green.
Inside this Military Facility, experiments are made, each and everyone of them given a Grade Level from Number ranging 10 to 1. Each level Controlled with corresponding units, and as the man passes by them, His Bracer holds his name.
Corvonts Ales. He is the 2nd of the 11th District Channelers in the whole City of Neocrelus, and possibly one of the more active ones than that of the other 11th.
His main reputation perceeds his acts and deeds as he continues to rule out the many factors which makes the districts forwardly drive.
However, upon walking into this facility he enters a room that has only 2 scientists studying and analyzing a specific individual in a giant glass water-filled chamber.
"Marshall"
The Assistant Scientist turning his head before the head scientist primarily named Marshal.
"What do you want, you idiot, didn't I tell you that I won't be finishing anything anytime soon" Briefly turning his head to glance at Corvonts, Marshall went back to his analysis
"Don't worry Marshall, I only came to say hi for a small tea break with you"
Grunting, Marshall stopped and walked over to the other end of the room.
Stopping without turning his head or body around he spoke.
"Lucas, keep an eye on her and read the waves, I don't think it should be difficult for you at this point"
Slightly glancing, with a stern look to Corvonts.
"Come, lets chat"
S.S.S.
Leading Corvonts into a short hallway into a small breakroom with a luxurious table, small couch and small kitchen on the side, Marshall with ettiquet and composure, allows Corvonts into the breakroom.
Unhesitantly, Corvonts tips his head forwards thanking his gesture, and walks in to have a seat on the small couch.
Closing the door behind himself, the very composed Marshall very quickly shifts and jumps on the couch.
"what the hell do you want ya' old geezer, haven'cha had enough of torturing me with all these projects and foolish experiments"
Normally this would astonish many people, but as Corvonts and Marshall had worked for years together, they knew eachother inside and out.
"Ah shut it!, you owe me for the last time I tried to get my wife's friend to go out with you but you never left this hole in your life" With his rough voice, bieng his familiar tone rather than his Composed straighthanded voice, he had an unkempt accent he let out accidentally whenever he was with Marshall.
In Comparison to both, none was only but a month of birthdates apart, Corvonts bieng one month older than Marshall.
"Well anyways, I've already finished with Seven, and she has recognition of what she is, but not who, I feel like it has changed even the way she acts when she was little, but its better than nothing. Do we really have to call her by that name though?"
"I know its asking for a lot, but this is only for the better my dear friend" Smiling towards Marshall, Corvonts thanked him.
"I see, Would you like to hear about the boy though?"
"Oh jeez, What did he do now"
Marshall sat upright and edged on the small couch rather quickly to speak.
"well, hes got some spark, but in a matter of years......."

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
