The Shades
Adrik: Fourth child of the shadow mother, owner of a multitude of birds, favoring his dracula parrot, and the shade gifted with the shard of life-force, blessed by Shinku. Watches over the strongpoint in the wastelands, the center of Razorvanny. He's brutal and cruel, his barbaric tactics earning him the title Bloody Vulture.
Grisha/Slicer: Brother to Stabby, the first child of the shadow mother, and the shade gifted with the shard of energy, blessed also by Kawa. Eternally tired, sarcastic, and grumpy, Grisha processes and builds energy for the shade race. Well-trained in almost every type of weapon.
Kazimir: Third child of the shadow mother, a previous monk at Tengu Temple, and the shade gifted with the shard of the fallen angel, blessed by both Kawa and the god of Death. The strongest of his siblings, though peaceful at heart. Wears a chastity belt and specially made mask to hold his internal power back.
Kir: Fifth child of the shadow mother, a brilliant researcher, and strategist, and the shade gifted with the shard of the inner mind, blessed by Keiken and Kokoro. His bug-like appearance which would bother most creatures does not affect Kir, who seems to have a strong disconnect with his emotions. Can be used through magic to speak to some deities, and gifted in hypnotism.
Pasha/Stabby: The youngest child of the shadow mother, and the shade gifted with the shard of fear, blessed by Kawa. Short, perky, and armed with a head filled with crystals. Prefers to use the name given to him by Grisha but is willing to use Pasha during business interactions. Seeks to earn the respect of his family.
The Shadow Mother/Dark Mistress: The leader of the shades and mother to many children, including the shade-ling Pasha. Her true name is withheld even from her children, and her age seems to change depending on who she's talking to. Deeply gifted in the art of shadow magic, and competent in most other kinds.

Zmey: Sixth child of the shadow mother, a snake enthusiast, and the shade gifted with the shard of strangulation, blessed by Midori. With a bone-crushing grip and an army of snakes at her side, Zmey is a master of trap-making and setting. Her desire for hugs is normally one-sided.
The Light Empire
Alastair: A major of the light army blessed by the gods. Holds Ambrosio highly and studies his books on using speech to your advantage constantly, but despite his efforts, his hot temper continues to hold him back.
Ambrosio: The holy commander of the light army. He looks up to the past holy commander Iskander and holds a lot of his views close to heart. Sly and terrifyingly good at spinning stories in his favor.
Eileen: A citizen of the light that survived the shadow mother's attack on her village. Outspoken, self-confident, and persistent, Eileen is well-fitted for leadership. Hired by the army of light due to her potential, she fights for the vengeance of her husband.
Filib: An intelligent, dry-humored first lieutenant, trained in strategy. Joined the light army after the initialization of the light alliance. Hopes to unify the centaurs.
Garvey: A cruel, scarred captain. Large for his people and already gifted a blessing, he's not one to mess with.
Gavriil: A brash, crude second lieutenant, trained in heavy weaponry. Hired during the initialization of light alliance, his dream is to reach high in the ranks.
Iskander: Previous holy commander of the light army. Famous for his and Mantieo's trapping of the mad shaman Kyoki.
Justice: A light army captain trained as a psychiatrist. An officer who's caught the attention of the higher-ups, raising quickly in the ranks and getting more and more dangerous missions. Despite his best attempts, his missions are bringing doubt to his stout belief in both Hikari and his government.
Viktor: The home division General of the light army. A man who keeps his thoughts inside. Seemingly more in charge of office work than anything, no one knows what his own plan is.

AOT: Boats
I know, the title doesnt seem to make sense. Its an acronym. For what? Hm. T means True. Up to you otherwise. Oh, right. The acronym actually does have an impact on one of the themes of the "story". At the same time I mixed it up with a reference to the original plan for this when I started, so yay. A double. Well, actually, a triple. Again, up to you. I should also mention that, as the rhyme that starts the story probably tells you, its gonna get kinda disturbing. All kinds of disturbing. Just to let you know.

Stairway to Heaven
Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings, far too weak to survive amid the other extraterrestrials that lie dormant across the galaxies. Instead of physical altercations, they would rather engage in verbal abuse, breaking an individual's psyche as a hobby. They excel at deception and manipulation, far too interested in bringing their brothers and sisters down and reaching for the top of their self-made hierarchies. Beyond their questionable nature and moral compasses, they long to find meaning in their lives and put names to the feelings that drive each passing moment. They are insatiable—far too greedy for more knowledge and a supposed understanding of their lives. It's pitiable, really, the way they struggle to find themselves while ravaging their kind through petty wars and conflicts built off of misunderstanding. Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings. They created words and languages to fill the holes that lived inside their souls, desperate for ways to find meaning in their incredibly short lifespans. They'll waste their entire lives trying to find their so-called passions and reasons for living, acting as if they truly rule the way their lives go, supposed "controllers of their own destiny." Yet, they cannot evade the inevitable visit from death, who stands next to them, ticking the seconds down until their demise.

Talius
The two moons of Talius gleam with a hypnotic glow; Araius with the color of a cooling blue, and Kranos beaming in a gentle orange. Arairus obscures Kranos with his enormous celestial body, letting Kranos peek out only halfway. This means that it's the month of Gantelos, the season of cold that hovers over Talius for half a year. It also notifies the residence of this planet that the dreadful Fuune will rise from the deep snow, deep from beneath the crust every night and feast on the humans who inhabit this tundra-infested world. Cardinal of Sin
They say sin comes at a horrible price. Or...perhaps I'm misremembering the saying. Regardless, I'm usually inclined to agree with the aforementioned statement. When one is held hostage by their own carnal instincts; never being able to fully control their primitive impulses...Well, let's just say, it would destroy a lesser man. That, I know. I died because of my lack of self-control, after all. I must admit, though. I didn't expect to change this belief of mine after meeting my end, but here I am. Breathing. In a world I don't belong; a world of magic. Here I am, whisked into another reality with the power to sin. To conquer.
