Hello, my name is Bud and welcome to the apocalypse I am called Glitch Cat by my friends , if you are reading this, I guess , you can call me Glitch Cat too. Currently , the exams are over and normally , it will be a great time to celebrate , if not for the world about to end.

Okay , it haven't been confirmed that the world is going to end but it is becoming more well chaotic …..Wait , actually , it is wrong for me to say that the world is going to end , just all of humanity . I know , what a bummer , but they should have been expecting this , it's not really much a shock to be honest .How you might be wondering? Are meteors going to be raining down from the skies , is the sun going to explode or are 4 horsemen going to start spreading chaos across the globe.

No , none of that is happening or is ever going to happen .... I think ? Or at least I hope. Instead , there is a virus, the Lilithian Virus that spread all across the globe , It infects animals and plants , as well as humans, introducing mutations that changed animals into mythical creatures , plants that could cure major diseases like AIDS or could poison whole armies , it awakened something , long forgotten in humans , giving them the gift of magic.

All those fans of Harri Pottar , weebs and other fans of fantasy novels and games thought that it was a great time , magic was real! Dragons and Unicorns exist! Some of them thought that they were the protagonist of this world and that the world was a story , others thought that they got isekai-ed into another world , most of these " protagonist" were immediately either killed or lost control and transformed into Liliths , then killed.

A lot of chaos was caused as well , I mean it is not everyday when you just had a child and you found out that your child start to fly up to the ceiling , with the umbilical cord attaching you and the baby or that instead of having a nice and save delivery , your child starts to claw its way out of the womb, killing you along the way and giving birth to a Lilith.

During these 2 years , there was chaos found every corner of the globe , hospitals would be filled with the cries and screams of mothers in pain or people forcibly changed and corrupted instead something that seemed human ... but could not be further from that word.

People lost controls of their powers , some people were given the gift of flight decided to try flying , there was a girl named Xin Ying , now known as the "Chinese Icarus". What did she do when she was given wings , she flew , duh. She soared through the skies with wings made from metal , as she flew and flew , trying to reach the Sun , testing out her abilities , unfortunately , she pushed too much and her wings froze from the cold , her wings jammed immediately , tight shut , her breath became short bursts and she fell. As she fell in a great ball of fire , a sound similar to a garbage compactor was heard, her wings fall off into beautiful metal feathers flowing out of her grasps. When her corpse was found , it was charred black , burned to a crisp , not a single feather remained .

But that was all what happened 2 years ago , nowadays , magic is used in everyday life , rich people ride dragons ( animal abuse) , some people keep fairies in little cages as pets or use them as servants ( not animal abuse , just slavery , turns out they are sapient), if you walk down the streets , you will definitely see people lighting cigarettes with fires coming out of their finger tips or buskers making minor illusions to impress the people on the streets which are most likely using charms to make themselves look nicer .

Many of my classmates and friends are Edens or just regular magic users .I'm one too , via an artificial one , but more on that later. Anyway , I feel like this is just the very beginning , things are going to get more hectic, things are going to get better or worse , right now , I welcome you to the era of magic. Tomorrow , who knows , the end of the world!
