《The Torture System》S-rank Cultivation Art

"This is the library. In here there all types of cultivation arts that you can learn." Chao Fei said.
"I see. Don't you need something to enter? Or do they just let everyone from the Sun Sect enter?"
"This library is for the students of the Crescent faction. There is another library for the Eternal faction. While the Immortal faction's library is a combination of both the Crescent and Eternal faction's libraries. There are also rumors that in the Immortal faction's library there are some incomplete S-rank cultivation arts." Chao Fei explained.
"Oh. It seems the Immortal faction really is the best..."
Zheng He and Chao Fei enter the library. After proving they are students of the Crescent faction they are allowed to look through the books.
"They made us go through such a hassle just to prove that we are part of the Crescent faction... It's so fu*king stupid and a waste of time."
"True. Now that we are here... What kind of cultivation art would you like to go through first?" Chao Fei asked
"I want to check out the physique cultivation arts first."
"Alright, follow me. Here are all the physique cultivation arts." Chao Fei said.
"Ok. I'll see which one best suits me... (thinks to himself) System, do you know which cultivation art here is best suited for me?"
System,"All the cultivation arts here are pure trash. They're all D-rank. Since the host has already learned Undying Body, the host must learn a physique cultivation art that is at least S-rank or it won't raise the host's combat prowess at all."
"(still thinking to himself) Damn. Where am I supposed to find an S-rank cultivation art..."
Chao Fei is confused as to why Zheng He has been standing still for some time.

"Zheng He, are you okay?" Chao Fei asked.
"Oh... I'm sorry. I was just thinking about something. Why don't you bring me to the incomplete physique cultivation arts next?"
"Sure." Chao Fei said.
Chao Fei and Zheng He walked around for 30 minutes before finally reaching their destination.
"I didn't think the library would be this big..."
"It looks small from the outside. But in reality, it is way bigger. But compared to the library of the Immortal faction it's actually really small..." Chao Fei explained.
"Are these the incomplete cultivation arts?"
"Yes." Chao Fei said.
"Why are they scattered across the ground like that? Also, why do they look so dirty?"
"This section isn't kept clean since these cultivation arts are all unlearnable." Chao Fei explained.
"Oh. (thinks to himself) System, are there any cultivation arts here that are suitable for me?"
System,"The host has incredible luck. There is, in fact, an S-rank cultivation art for physique training here."
"How am I lucky exactly?"
System,"The S-rank cultivation art was supposed to be a pinnacle A-rank cultivation art. But right before it was created, the person who made it got extremely lucky and gained an insight which helped him to make this cultivation art reach S-rank. Though it reached S-rank, it's one of the worst S-rank cultivation arts for physique training. But even the worst S-rank cultivation art is better than a pinnacle A-rank cultivation art."
"I see."
Chao Fei looks around confused once again. He wonders who Zheng He was talking to. Zheng He realizes what happened and quickly tries to come up with an excuse.
"Oh sorry. I was just talking to myself. Do know what this cultivation art is?"
"This... It is the legendary Burning Body cultivation art that the ancestor of this sect created. It was once the strongest cultivation art in the whole sect. But an incident happened and after that incident, the cultivation art was broken up into 3 pieces. For many years the sect has been looking for where the other 2 pieces of this cultivation art are. But as of so far the sect hasn't had any luck in finding the other 2 pieces because no one else in the sect had cultivated the Burning Body cultivation art before so they don't know what to exactly look for..." Chao Fei explained.

"Oh. I guess I'm done looking at cultivation arts for today. How about we go to the next place now?"
"Sure. The next place I will be bringing you to is the arena." Chao Fei said.
"That sounds fun. (thinks to himself) System, copy down that cultivation art for now. I'll try to learn it once I have collected all 3 pieces."
System,"Sure."
Chao Fei brings Zheng He to the arena next.

A Friendly Voidling
When a Creature of the Void fails to find friendship among her own kind, she instead sets her sights upon another, human-filled world. Unfortunately, humans turn out to be rather small and squishy things, resulting in a mostly accidental trail of death, destruction and madness as she embarks on her journey to finally make some friends. This is a 25k word inane short story, and makes no attempt at being serious or realistic. It's my first attempt at trying a more comedic writing style. No relation to my other stories, aside from a brief cameo. Cover bodged together with Charat Genesis. Not quite the design I had in mind, but reasonably close. Doesn't contain explicit smut, but does contain references to stuff happening off-screen. May contain traces of gore. Also eels, in varying states of distress. Posted here and scribblehub.
