[Sissel and Tracey are on Goldberg’s laptop, stood outside of Hyde’s office. From around the corner, Chelsea and Liv appear to Tracey’s notice.]
Tracey: Head’s up.
[Sissel turns to see them heading over.]
Sissel: [quietly] H-hey.
Chelsea: Hey.
[Liv just nods. Sissel stills quickly shushes the both of them, Tracey stepping back.]
Chelsea: [quietly, confused] Okay, why?
Sissel: [quietly] Because there is a teacher in the room!
Liv: [quietly, confused] So?
Sissel: [quietly] So this laptop belonged to Goldberg and I’d prefer to not have someone thinking we killed him and stole his things!
[Chelsea and Liv look to each other.]
Chelsea: [quietly] Okay, that’s fair. Hand it over.
[Sissel starts to hand over the laptop as a loud thud is heard from inside the office. They all look about each other as it starts getting loud in the office. Chelsea quickly takes the laptop with Sissel's notebook underneath it.]
Chelsea: [quietly] I’ll take this to the team, you guys deal with… that.
[Chelsea quickly runs away with the laptop. Both Liv and Sissel perk up and panic slightly, Tracey noticing.]
Sissel: [quietly, over Liv] Wha- hey! Chelsea! Come on, Chelsea!
Liv: [quietly, over Sissel] Chelsea, don’t just run off! We’re not just… oh, you bitch.
[There’s another thud against the door and the two turn to it. They both sigh and head over, putting their heads on the door while facing each other. Tracey walks over, frowning.]
Tracey: [worried] What’s going on?
[Sissel shushes Tracey.]
Liv: [quietly] I didn’t say anything!
Sissel: [quietly] Not you.
Liv: [quietly] Who then?
[Sissel sighs.]
Tracey: [worried] You can tell her. Why aren’t you telling her?
[Sissel shushes again. Liv groans and puts her head to the door.]
Tracey: Um… I’m going to go in, see what he’s saying. You just say what I’m saying.

[Sissel nods as Tracey moves through the wall to more loud noises.]
Liv: [annoyed] Just be honest, what’s wrong with you?
Sissel: What?
Liv: [annoyed] You’re acting weird. Not sad, just wrong.
Sissel: [annoyed] Is there not a better time for this?
Liv: [annoyed] I don’t know, but I’d prefer you talk to a real person about this.
Sissel: [annoyed] Seriously, you sound nuts.
Liv: [annoyed] I’m trying to help you.
Sissel: Wait, shush.
Liv: [annoyed] If you tell me-
Sissel: [angry] Liv, seriously, shut it!
[Liv goes quiet, frowning. Tracey speaks up.]
Tracey: [through wall] Um… someone called Witley Barbit.
Sissel: Name is Witley Barbit.
Tracey: [through wall] Um… he’s kinda rambling, something about photography and running with scissors.
Sissel: [confused] Um… he’s mainly rambling.
Liv: [annoyed, confused] How the hell do you get a name and nothing else?
[Tracey pulls her head through the door.]
Tracey: [worried] Okay, so… I think he’s going to kill you. Run please!
[Sissel quickly grabs Liv and pulled her away, running.]
Liv: [annoyed] H-hey!
Sissel: [annoyed] Oh, shut up!
[They quickly turn the corner towards the staircase.]
Liv: Why are we running?
Sissel: Hyde is going to kill us!
Liv: Oh… That’s fair.
[The two quickly make it to the bottom of the staircase. Sissel lets go of Liv and runs in the opposite direction, Liv noticing and stopping in her place.]
Liv: [yelling] Hey! Where you going?
[Sissel turns back down the corridor, staring at Liv.]
Sissel: I need to make a plan. I need to go.
Liv: [angry] Don’t just run away after telling me someone wants to kill us again!
[Tracey’s head pulls down through the floor, looking at Sissel.]
Tracey: [worried] Again?!
Sissel: [angry] Look, I can’t explain, I just need to go! Okay?
[Liv groans.]
Liv: [angry] When you get back, you tell me what is going on.
Sissel: [angry] Fine!
[Sissel turns and runs off, taking a corner. Liv groans and walks away down the corridor, taking out her phone and texting Velma.]
Liv: [text only] Something’s wrong. He won’t tell me.
[She hesitates with the next message, then groans.]
Liv: [text only] Can we talk later? It’s important.
[She waits a few seconds, then getting a response.]
Velma: [text only] Okay. We can talk whenever you want.
[She nods and pockets her phone.]

The Last 100
The bustling crush of humanity had become common place now, the cacophony of voices and the symphony of a city had become the song and dance of our species. But it was not always such, and return back to our more humble roots we did.The system had come, and it had stripped us bare. Sure it had given us a means to power, but at what cost. We were the last 100 left. Night was falling on the human race, it was a dark night, and it was cold. But go quietly we would not. We would make the world burn with an inferno of our defiance. Rage, rage against that goodnight, and I Jack Casser, have rage a plenty. This is my story, the story of the last 100.Author Note: This story is a LitRPG apocalypse, woah fucking original idea I know but hear me out. If you can look past preconceived ideas driven by a stigma of overdone tropes and done to death plots of achieving world domination and self-righteous characters and give the story a chance I hope it can surprise you.

It's not a game
Where am I? This is not my room. What is this place. If you were transported to another world, to be an RPG protagonist. Just another average weak human being, with nothing but ten copper coins and a crappy sword. Could you defeat demons, monsters and giants? I think not. In a world inhabited by all manner of unspeakable evil, by devils of both monster and man. Could you right wrongs and fix a broken world? I think not. When both your fellow man, demons and the very divines that hold reality together conspire to corrupt, extort and rape this world. When they toy with you and laugh in amusement as you dance in their palms. Could you alter fate? I think not. So when this is the thorny path ahead of our protagonists, why would you expect them to be able to? They’re just human after all, teenagers at that. Nevertheless, join me on an epic journey that will alter the course of history and reality itself as our protagonists show you what it really means to be human... in an inhuman world.
