And one giant excuse!
Again, Cassie had been trying to tie a bow around a large box, but it kept slipping. She held a part of it with her elbow.
“Come on, it’s right there-” Again, there was a knock at her door and she let go of the bow, "Bruh, these guys are gonna have to really calm down with all this!" She went to her door again, but this time was met with a person who needed her to sign off on the package. He gave her a small smile before holding out the electronic pad.
"Ms. Ann right?" She nodded and signed before handing back the pen. He then handed her the box, she thought it was much lighter considering how he was holding it, but it wound up being a lot heavier and she nearly dropped it when it was handed over to her. "Have a nice day Miss!"
She hadn't said much of anything during that exchange, but she went back into her house and set the box down. This time there was a name on the outside of the box and of course,
"It's from Akuma." She said with a sigh. Cassie got her scissors and opened the box. Unlike the chocolate, she found herself disinterested with the contents of the present. "I don't know if he thinks I care about this or if he just wants to see me in that stuff, but he really need to stop cause' I have no space for this." She pulled out the first item and held it up until it came out of the box.

The entire box was filled to the brim with dresses, and by the look of it, it seemed like all the dresses were perfectly fit for her.
"I mean this one's pretty, but I have no reason or want to wear it." She decided just to pull every dress out and see if there was a note. She haphazardly threw every dress onto the floor and found a note at the bottom of the box. She read it aloud once more, "You should really think about visiting me wearing one of these- okay you fucking pervert." She threw the letter back into the box and proceeded to grab the dresses and shove them back inside the box. She then closed it back up and took the box into her room where she placed it into a corner of her room. "Could he stop sending me stuff now?" She asked no one in particular and she resumed sitting on the floor.

The Lay of the Black Doors
Nikha von Kranssov awakens one sunny morning to find that things have gone all wrong: Her maid has been murdered, her father is missing, and her house, Eldergrave Manor, is far larger and less familiar than it should be. She decides to grab her trusty rifle and set out into a home made strange and sinister, determined to find her father and confront whoever is responsible. The Lay of the Black Doors is a horror/adventure story that takes place in a secondary world. It is mainly inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, China Miéville’s Bas-Lag books, M.T. Anderson’s The Game of Sunken Places, and Shea and Wilson’s The Illuminatus! Trilogy. Be warned that the story involves frightening situations and occasional dark themes, as well as some violence and gore. Weekly updates. No longer on hiatus! The cover image is not mine. It is "The Drawbridge," a 1761 engraving by Giovanni Battista Piranesi.

The Dog with a Chair
As of now, this story is dropped. It was an excellent learning experience, but the quality suffered too much from me trying new things for me to continue in good concience. Thanks to anyone that read it. I'm leaving this story up as a record of my first ever attempt at publishing something I've wrote. To any new writers out there, remember that even if the stuff you write is trash, you can still learn a lot from writing it. - November 17th 2020 Guy gets involved in advocacy for civil engineering projects, then gets pulled into an interdimensional war. Third person with a focus on one main character (Stanley) with the occasional point of view from another character important to story progression. Writing style tends to shift early on as I figure out how to write (this is my first book). Still learning, hoping to improve. Current style choice is to have a focus on character dialogue/actions with interspersed internal monologue in italics. No current end is set for the story, with the primary goal of this project being to learn to express myself in a written format. Storyline is kept as consistent as practical while covering things I find interesting. Governmental systems are mentioned, but not explained in extreme detail. Sci fi elements are used to reinforce and guide plot progression as I'm able. Personal goals belonging to each character are in the process of being developed, with the hope that they will support or oppose each other in interesting ways later on. Hope you enjoy :)

Size Doesn't Matter
Size Doesn't Matter, or SDM, follows college students Niko and Kelsen as they travel from their homeworld of Moccs to Latia, a strange and exciting planet where everything is huge, even the people. They meet up with Ralia and Pakos, friends they've made online, only to realize how different seeing them in person really is. What follows is a great deal of fluff, angst, general shenanigans, trauma, and navigating all different kinds of relationships. Some content matter is dark and the characters are not human, but the overall tone is SFW. This will shortly be posted on other sites, but it was posted here first.
