Stopping at the entrance of The Village Forest.
There were 2 sentry guards staring at him.
The general approach closer until they lifted up their spears.
The weapons, bringing back painful flashback memories.
"Halt! State your business traveler!"
The sentry guard said that was positioned on the right side of the entrance.
"I come to seek a hot meal and shelter and a place to rest for today."
The general replied while looking at the 2 guards.
"Alright, please enter and move along, move along."
The guard said who was positioned on the left side of the entrance.
"Thank you."
Before he could go any further, he was halted again by one of the guards.
The general was slightly irritated, but didn't let it get to him and looked at the guard who stop him.
"Just to let you know, there's an Inn Named Rosy Leaf and I would recommend it since you seem new to this village fellow Traveler."
The general nodded to him before resuming back to entering The Village Forest.
Whatever irrigation he had for the guard was immediately gone after he helped him out picking a recommended Inn.
{That was sort of Nice of that guy right general?}
The boy thought about it silently and remember the people that betrayed him and lets out a sigh.
"Yeah, pretty nice of him."
There were many kinds of different races in this village surprisingly besides Humans.
He would never have thought to see such a sight before.
Eventually, he stops in front of a large 2 story building with a board on top of the door entrance.
Decorated to look pretty and fashionable in a sense.
{This is the place General!}
The general check his map and saw that he did reach The Rosy Leaf Inn.
There were a couple of adventurers that caught his attention.
One was Knight with a Sword and Shield and the other one was a Guardsman that had a single long sword.
He looked around his surroundings carefully and spot a nearby shop that sold Armor and Weapons.
And notice another building that sold Items and equipment.
The General thought about checking them out first before renting a place in The Rosy Leaf Inn.
But his stomach begins to make a loud growl which caught several attention from the crowd.
He started to blush out of embarrassment in his iron helmet and decided to first order a hot meal and rent a room before checking out the shops.
{Wow! This place sure look lively General!}
There were dozens of Adventurers and Mercenaries as well as normal folks all drinking and eating and partying away.
Laughter and mostly chatting was heard throughout the Inn and notice a short young girl with an apron and a dress on.
She smiles happily at him and bows to him.
"Greetings Traveler to The Rosy Leaf Inn! It's a pleasure to meet you and have you today into our service."

The general couldn't help but admire the politeness of the child and her adorable appearance.
"Thank you."
He said to her while the young girl leads him to an empty table that was recently cleaned from the previous people who used this table.
"What may I serve you with Traveler?"
She asked politely with a small smile and a note in her left hand and pen in her right hand.
"Hmm, What exactly do you guys recommend?"
The general curiously asked the young waitress.
"Today special is Soft, tender Chicken with spices and Potatoes with egg and butter along with Apple cider."
The girl happily replied with sparkles shining in her eyes.
"Then I will take that along with some ketchup please."
The general responded with a small smile while looking at the child.
"Right away Sir! Thank you!"
She quickly ran off possibly back to the kitchen room.
Mostly where the cooking is taking place.
{That girl sure is adorable and nice General!}
The boy removed his Iron Helmet and placed it on the table.
A few females glances at him due to his appearance.
Brown skin and black hair along with light brown eyes wasn't common apparently.
It's been several minutes before the girl return again with a large plate she was carrying to his table.
He was impressed how strong she was due to her size and age.
"Here you go Mister- Wow! You sure look handsome."
The girl said with a slight blush appearing on her fair skin.
The general couldn't help but smile at this reaction and held his iron helmet to make space for the plates.
"Anyway, here you go mister! Soft, tender Chicken with spices and potatoes with egg and butter as well as Ketchup that you ordered and the Apple cider."
She explains and displaying the meal before him on the table as he watch silently.
"Thank you, How much will this be?"
The general asked the young waitress.
"That would be 5 Gold coins! A discount for being handsome too."
The boy open his pouch and took out 5 gold coins and gave it to her and she bows to him before walking away to help other customers.
{Who knew that you were handsome and a target for girls General!}
He makes a slight frown at this comment and silently begin to eat his meal which was splendid.
The Apple cider was cool and smooth like a smoothie shake.
And the chicken skin and meat easily came off of the bone without any resistance.
The aroma of Chicken and spices smelt pleasant, but the taste was a perfect match for the aroma.
"Hey, you heard about the rumors about war breaking out again between The Capitol and The Empire?"
A certain said that wasn't too far from him.
This caught the attention of the General and tried to eavesdrop while eating his meal.
"No? They at it again? Man, this is getting a real pain for us Mercenaries."

A strong voice replied with a displeasure groan.
"Why are you complaining about? At least they pay real good money!"
A young arrogant voice said before laughing.
"Easy for you to say Kid, Anyways, why are those 2 Kingdoms fighting each other again."
The voice asked and sounded as if this was a regular occurrence.
"Apparently The Empire and The Capitol are trying to take some land again to expand their territory."
The voice explains as the others started to groan in annoyance.
"Can't they even share the land together, I'm gonna get sick of being a mercenary if they start throwing money at me again."
The group of voices soon started to fade due to the many commotions and music happening inside the Inn.
"System, what do you know about The Empire and The Capitol?"
The general asked while being careful not to be too loud for anyone to hear him.
{The Empire is very similar to your own world history named The Roman Empire and it's ruled by an Emperor and The Capitol is mostly ruled by the high elves.}
The general was silent and In deep thought about the situation.
"Are there other Kingdoms as well?"
{Of course General! There's at least a total 5 Kingdom's and many more unexplored regions besides this continent that we are on.}
The boy was taken back from this information and looked down at his almost finished meal.
"A single continent that holds 5 Kingdoms, now that's interesting."
He drinks his last of bit of his Apple Cider and sighed in satisfaction before burping.
{But you don't have to worry General! You have the ability to build your army and even Kingdom if you ever wanted to!}
The general thought about it and was curious about his ability to spawn in soldiers that would obey his every command.
He would need to test these abilities out when he leaves this village.
"It seems that you are finished! I'll take these and by the way, do you want to rent a room?"
The young waitress asked after suddenly approaching him.
"Yes, how much would that be?"
He responded and smile to the young girl carrying the empty plates in her arms.
"That would be 5 Gold coins Mister! Since you order our special and for being handsome."
The girl replies with a grin on her face.
He only rolls his eyes playfully and opens his pouch and took out 5 Gold coins to her.
She took the gold coins with a free hand the best she could.
"Great! I'll show you to your room after delivering these plates back to the main kitchen and Thank you again!"
The general nodded and watch her walk away while balancing herself not to drop the plates and chuckles.
{That girl sure would make a nice wife in the future General.}
The boy frowns a little at this comment before putting his Iron helmet back on again.
To mask his expression on his look and waited for the girl to return.
A few minutes past till she finally appears again with a smile and held her hand out to him.
"Come on Mister! I show you to your bedroom now!"
The general got up from his chair and took her hand carefully before following her lead.
{Wow! General sure is a ladies man! Ha-ha!}
This cause the boy to shake his head at this comment and kept it to himself while following the young waitress upstairs.
Eventually, they stop in front of a wooden door and the girl bows to him.
"I hope you enjoy your stay here at Rosy Leaf Inn mister and thank you again for coming to us."
The general couldn't help but place a hand on top of her head and brush her hair gently.
This cause the young girl to fluster and grip on her edge of her dress and smiles sheepishly.
Her reaction sure was adorable and cute.
"Thank you."
The general said to her which made the girl's heart skip a beat.
Before he can enter into his rented bedroom, a hand tugs his shirt.
He turns to see the young waitress holding onto his shirt with the most adorable expression on her face.
This melts his heart and smiles inside of his iron helmet.
"What is your name Mister?"
The general was quiet for a moment and didn't know how to respond to that.
"Call me General."
The girl tilts her head at the sound of this name like a puppy would.
"That is a very interesting name, I never heard anyone have that name before."
The general smiles and takes off his iron helmet.
"What is your name?"
The girl hesitated for a moment after seeing his face again and kicks the ground gently.
"Ruby..."
She replied shyly while trying not to make eye contact.
"Hmm, What a beautiful name."
He responded with a friendly smile which made her blush red across her face.
"T-Thank you... No one has ever said that before."
She said and seem to be almost speechless.
"Don't mention it, well, I should be going to bed now."
The general said before opening the bedroom door.
"Okay! See you later General!"
She giggles after saying his name and quickly walked away back downstairs to serve her customers while feeling very happy.
{You sure know how to cheer people's mood General!}
The boy chuckles at this before placing his Iron helmet away into his inventory and sitting down on the wooden bed that was filled with feathers and hay.
"It's going to be a long day tomorrow."
The General said while looking through the window and observing the sun going slowly down.

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
