《Soul Status (HIATUS)》Chapter 6

If I was in my normal condition then after hearing those words I would most likely be celebrating with joy and have a big happy grin in my face but in my current condition I can’t do that.
Instead what was most likely happen to me right now is me passing out in the ground in which I didn’t want that to happen so I tried my best to be conscious and not as I previously said to pass out.
With this burden I didn’t have the pleasantries to celebrate right now and I could see that Dargon was waiting for me to follow him and I’m positive that he is not a man that likes to wait for long.
I had no choice but to stand and walk towards him even if I felt really sick while doing this, and as I did this Dargon proceeded to walk as well.
I had a hard time catching up to him but when I did I immediately decided that it was best for me to ask some questions about this school after all the more knowledge I have the better it is for me.
But before I could open my mouth Dargon turn around and glared at me in which at his action the only thing I did was to just look down as I was honestly terrified with the look he just gave me.
Dargon sternly asked me “How come I can’t see your status?” Hearing that question made my head spin because wasn’t it normal that you couldn’t see other people’s status.
“Unless… don’t tell me that Dargon has a skill to see other people’s status. If that is true then what am I supposed to do, should I just bluff my way through this? That is too risky because there are ways to tell if I’m lying to him or not so if he calls my bluff then I will be screwed, and of course they won’t let me off that easy after all being principal of magic academy means that they have a lot of power. Damn what the heck first I should confirm my suspicions maybe I’m overthinking it.”

I responded stammeringly “Uh…um…wh-what are you talking about?” Damn I should shoot myself right now why the heck do I have bad communication skills.
Dargon though didn’t seem to care and just bluntly told me “I have a skill that let’s me see others people’s status, are you now going to give me an answer.”
“This is honestly the worst possible outcome for me at this point I should just tell him the truth after all my hands and feet are tied behind my back. Looks like I just have to hope that my confession of being statless comes along well and that I can still go inside the academy.”
This is what I thought when I heard his response and I with a feeble voice said “Uh…well it’s because I’m a… statless person.”
I could feel myself shrinking under Dargon’s gaze as I finish my confession in response he did something that I didn’t expect at all.
Dargon just grinned akin to a feral wolf and then it quickly became a maniacal laughter in which I only stared at him in bewilderment as I couldn’t make out heads or tails if this was a good sign or a bad one.
When he finish laughing Dargon faced me with a composure unlike before and simply said “No wonder I couldn’t see your status and you don’t have to worry at all I won’t reveal this to anyone because I’m curious to see how you will fare here at my academy. Before I forget can you tell me what’s your name?”
After finishing his sentence he just reached out with his hand and left the arm just hanging there in the air.
For now it looks like for some reason the principal will still let me in the academy after all I don’t truly believe the principal would let me in just because of the reason he gave but I don’t know what he’ll use me for so it is pointless to think about it right now and I should probably know in the future.

As for my name I technically don’t have one since when we get the status it should tell your name but I don’t have a status so instead everyone decided that I just don’t have a name at all.
But my parents never believed in this so they instead decided to name me in which I was really grateful to them for giving me a name even if it wasn’t truly my name as I would never know what it was no matter what.
But i’m here right now and that is all that matters because even if I am the weakest among the world I’ll climb from the bottom with all my might without never stopping and I won’t ever stop until the day I am dead.
I’ll continue on for my parents and myself because this world believes that I a statless person would never reach the top but I decide my own fate and I say that it is possible so I will strive for the top and when I do then that will mean the whole world was wrong about me.
I proceeded to shake Dargon’s hand and with a uncharacteristically smirk on my face, I clearly said with confidence “My name is Lerato and I hope we have an eventful school year, principal.”

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.

Goblin Combe
This story follows Jack Chaque-Travail, an Illusionist determined to usher in the next generation of Druids to make sure he doesn't have to watch the earth die around him. Druids used to be awakened high on mountain tops, or in deep caves, but now there are so few left they must be shipped into a summer camp to at least eke out what little potential they have. 'Come with WildWise™ and get away from the buzz of the city and towards the buzz of the sacred bee!' as quoted from their website. As years have gone by, and ozone has deteriorated, Druid training is less summoning treants and more kumbaya-ing. If there is no connection to nature, there are no more Druids, and that means horrible things for everyone left behind. Join Jack as he grifts his way through being a childrens educator, cheating and tricking them into being valuable members of society.

Making a difference
Harry Potter FanFiction: Hannah Longbottom liked to watch the people who entered the Wizarding World via the small, walled courtyard behind the Leaky Cauldron for a reason: During her not so long life, she had learned about three different boys who had entered the Wizarding World alone, leaving behind a life so horrible she could barely imagine. One of them, who became a friend of hers, had gone through great hardships to become a hero, one of the greatest wizards the Wizarding World had ever seen. One of them, who had been her teacher, had become cold and bitter, and no one had ever recognized what amazing talents he could have offered, until it had been too late. One of them, the monster she had helped to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts, had become the most dreaded, most dangerous, and most deadly man Great Britain had ever seen, and yet it could have all been different, if someone had just tried to make that difference early enough in that life, if he had not boarded the train to Hogwarts all alone. Already posted at Devianart and AO3, I've included a link to RoyalRoad on my profiles there.
