《The Celestial Kingdom》Hope and Despair

Rain stood solumnly at the top of the courtyard stairs, castle Celest towered behind her, the stone arch above casted soft shadows over her as she watched her brother, formerly Sir Weslo, and Prince Paradox of Melaina dissapear into the void.
Welso stood on the nimbus he was using, more acustomed to the form of transportation, developed by Lady Ardent herself, that the citizens of the realm used often. Paradox or, Para, was sitting on his, muscles tense underneath his lavender and saphire leathers. Rain guessed it was because the transportation was odd to him.
As they faded out of sight in a cluster of blues and lavender, a wave of sadness hit her. Would she ever see him again?
Suddenly a hand rested lightly on her shoulder. She glanced behind her, already knowing who it was.
Amaterasu stood there, in his elven form, his gaze focused on the spot where his King has just dissapeared. "It's going to be alright." He said in a soothing tone.
Something knocked her to the side, breaking the contact, and she looked down to see Colorful in his familiar form, his white pelt looking gray in the shadows of the arch above. she knew Ama was right. Without saying anything she nodded and then patted Colorful between his ears.
"I know. And we can do our own rescuing in the meantime."
"The Island." Was all Ama said. She knew what he meant. The island that Rain had been visiting within the Celestial void, was a crop of forested land from Gaia. Infact, she was starting to think all the Islands were. Cropped out of the earth, when Lady Ardent made her wishes. Though why it had worked that way was still a mystery to Rain.
But, somehow, the island seemed to be acting as a gateway for the Eldar and the realm. A one way gate. She had managed to find some of her people there, but never had she managed to go back to the other realm from exploring the wooded areas and streams.

That island was enough to give her hope, she could help her brother. The knoweledge left her with a sence of duty and she knew in her heart they were both making the right choices.
Rain turned and walked back towards the palace. "I'm going to check on Lady Ardent." She told Amaterasu. He nodded and both he and Colorful watched her go.
Darkness echoed around Àskérian until dim light filtered in, illuminating his surroundings as much as the depths of Moria would allow.
He was on the terrace where he had watched Ainzy fall to her death. He realised immidiately that he was dreaming. A dream that had plagued him every night since then and he had learned to shut off his emotions to it, but something nagged at him this time.
She stood before him, Ainzy did on the very ledge and the thunder of Etah roar shook the foundations once more, and Ainzy fell, her dark brown-black hair fanning in the wind her dark eyes, the same shade as his full of sorrow, but peace also, as she decended to the bottom of the casm below.
He watched her, but only numbness took him, as in slow motion he watched her demise for what seemed like the trillionth time, but then, the scarlet wings on Ainzy's back; the trademark of her bond with her dragon, turned white and full of feathers.
The dark leathers changed to white also, and shock took over him as his sister's image shifted into that of Ardent's, just before it dissapeared under a river of dragon fire.
Àskérian's heart pounded in his chest, something was dreadfully wrong. Then he heard the grating boom of Etah's voice in his head. "You better go check on your queen, Àskérian." And then with an ominous chuckle darkness engulfed Àskérian once more.

He awoke, gasping for air to fill his lungs, the darkness of his room only made the terror of his dream more real. He felt as if he was drowing as he swung his legs over his bed, grabbed his sword from the table and rushed from his chambers in the castle.
Like a sence of forboding he could feel Etah's presence and he was certain, Etah had managed to get into the realm. He had to get to Ardent, and had to tell the other knights, but the realm was fast asleep and he was the only one awake.

Makemake
"Makemake—a planet that is found in the far edges of the system known as Sol—was once a metropolis, like all of the other planets that populate the system. Now, like all of the others, it lies as a Sleeping City, forever dormant. No one lives there anymore—it has been vacant for years. In one of the massive cities that used to have a population that was in high numbers a sound could be heard. A distant sound. A beep, or a call, a message—whatever it was, it was an electronic noise. It echoed through the dust cloud filled landscape. The sound went on for a long time. It sat in a sea of quiet; no other noise rolled over the hills and bounced off the ground—only that noise. Only that beep."
