《Spiritual Point》Chapter 10

Currently, in the convenient store named 24/11. A man wearing a hood is eating a cup of noodles or so they call as ramen in the time of 2 'o clock in the morning. The entire store is filled with fluorescent light as the cashier is sitting on a chair in the counter, her eyes filled with drowsiness as she struggled not to fall asleep.
Only the sound of slurping and air con can be heard within the empty store.
Suddenly, The chime on the glass door echoed. Three people have entered the room. One is a fat, bald man with piercing on his nose. Another and is a slightly average man holding a metal baseball bat.His Eyes shadowed and his hair held on the back of his head. Finally, Is a woman with perhaps strange fashion sense. Her hair tied exactly at the top of her head, and her face filled with make up to the brim.
"I'm so bored Fred!"(Woman)
"Same babe. My hands are tied though, thanks to some guy there at the bar. Fucking bastard, trying to fuck with us like that. "(Fred)
"Hahaha!! You totally destroyed the guy's face! He must be crying so badly in the hospital now!"
The three laughed and entered the store noisily with the bat slamming to the floor, and their steps being so hard. This act of course wakes up the cashier, which she yawns and takes a while to recover her senses.
"Hey Girlie. What do you have in here~??"
"We are a self serve store so please take what you want and just serve it here in the... counter..."
The girl paused as she now realizes her situation. Three delinquents inside the empty shop. She shrinks back to the wall while cursing her luck for them to be here when the security guard is out due to his family problem. Seeing that her nineteen years old mind thought that there was no need for guarding, she didn't cared much. Now every fiber of her is regretting that decision.
"Oh~? What happened Girlie~? Cat got your tongue?" Fred said as she slammed his bat to the girl's abdomen afterwards. The girl fell and groaned as she felt weak.
The three laughed hysterically once again. The woman and the fatty proceeded to walk around the shop and looted through the items. The woman taking accessories while the fatty getting foods.
"T-there are security cameras in here... Y-you won't get away with It..."
The girl threatened the man. However, no response was given. The man simply walks towards the girl and grabs her face roughly.
"We. Don't. Give. A. Shit."
He slapped the girl, and again, and again, ans again. Her whimpers being the only sound in the store now as the man grins sadistically.
After a while, the slapping stopped. The man looked bored as the girl stayed strong while her face is filled with bruises. Fred calls to the woman behind that's busy in having some make up.
"Babe! Can I play with this bitch here??"
"Geez, As long as you make up for it later, it's fine. Since you gave me a good gift and all."

Fred grinned and the girl's face became terrified. She struggles to escape as her eyes slowly became filled with tears. However, her efforts are futile as the man takes out a knife and holds both her hands above her head. He points the edge of the knife lightly on her uniform to which she stopped moving. He grins with sadism once again and slowly rips out her uniform apart, taking out her-
"I said get out there already and give me your food and money!!"
A voice suddenly shouted. Fred stoped and looked at the source.
The fatty is standing, taking out his gun and pointing it at the man. His face beefing red as it seemingly looks like he's mad.
"Like I said, you're in a fuckng store. Get your own food."
"Shut up and give it to me! Or else I'll blow your head off!"
"Seriously? You are motherfucking robbing a store. Yet you don't give a shit and take food instead?"
"I will fucking blow your head off right now!"
"Hey, what's going on there-"
A boom echoed throughout the store. Yet the hooded man wasn't hurt at all. Rather, a surprising turn of events happened. The hooded man has grabbed the fatty's arm and pushed it upwards at the last moment, leading the bullet to the ceiling. And their eyes don't fail to see it as the hooded guy stands up and grabs the fatty's armpit with his other arm. Then as if there's no problem at all, he smashes the fatty towards the table like it's nothing.
The entire store became silent. The three were shocked as to how in the tarnation was the guy able to do such a thing. The weigh difference was clear. The fatty was even perhaps four to five times larger than his size. Yet his movement seemed like it was nothing. He didn't even use the transfer of weight, as his legs barely moved at all. It was pure strength.
Then, a gush of wind seemed to flow from the hooded man, revealing his appearance. A man with black hair and pierced ears. His hair extremely spiky like electricity has flowed in his head and his expression fierce yet creepy. It's like an expression of a man that has never had an emotion for years. His smile showing a canine tooth somewhat longer than usual and his nails on his fingers perhaps longer than Normal. His skin became apparent pale too, yet it's pale to the point of almost being white.
"Y-you're... Gian? W-what happened to you?"
"Oh, Gian is your- I mean, my name huh? Forgive me. Yes, I am gian. Apparently, you fools have been messing in here I see."
"G-Gian~ w-we don't mean to mess with you, r-right Fred?"
The woman and Fred became afraid. Not because of the strength this time, but rather because of the problem they entered. The man in front of them is Gian Luster. Their supposed to be 'leader'. The man barely really cares for all of his members and haven't thus known all of them, but it is already a rumor to never mess with him. Or else the brother will make you taste hell.

That is what terrifies them. The both look to each others eyes and nods to one another. They both agreed that they should go and leave the dumb fatty alone.
"G-gian, we're gonna go now, okay? W-we won't make it worse, we promise. I-it's only his fault after all... y-yeah, that fucking disgusting pig. It's only his fault... hahaha... so, We'll go... okay?"
"Hmmm... considering the foolishness of you bastards, normally I would have killed you lot. Yet considering you two did not touch me, I will let you live. So go on now, before I change my mind."
Fred sighs in relief. He releases the girl and slowly walks away as the woman takes most of the thing she wants into her bag as she walks away.
All is well until...
"I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!"
The fatty suddenly woke up and shouted. He proceeded to slam his body to the man, somehow pushing him to the snacks table behind him. Glass shards spread across the floor and his body stopped moving. The fatty laughed like a maniac at his success.
"Ahahaaaahauaahahahahahah~!!! I knew it! That was just my imagination after all! You fucking bastard, how dare you fuck with me, huh?!"
"Y-you?! Don't you know what would happen if you did that? You fucked us all!!"
"Hello, my name's Sherlock, first name's no shit. You guys thought of betraying me anyway, who is the pig, huh? I'm gonna kill you guys too!!"
The fatty with his bloody face took the gun from earlier and pointed it at Fred. The woman takes out her gun out as well, thinking of killing him if he dares to kill her boyfriend.
The cashier was simply horrified. A pistol war is about to start in her workplace and sheet has no idea what to do at all. But then, she notices the man from earlier to slowly stand up at the side, unnoticed due to the tension between them.
Then, Gian grabs the fatty's head and slams it to the floor, making a crack on it. Afterwards, Gian raises his right leg and while both his hands are inside his pockets, he slams it to the fatty again and again one barrage, funny thing though is that his face looks like it's just his normal Monday morning.
After a while of groanings and screams of fear, the floor is filled with blood with a barely alive fatty on it. Gian's gaze then turns to Fred.
"Say, You thought I'll rely to my so called "brother" huh? Let me tell you this, You all just made your list in hell with that thought." He says as he laughs himself this time. A distorted voice like there are two voices mixed together.
The woman points her gun to Gian this time around, and even pressing the trigger, however, Gian just bends his head a bit which dodges the bullet completely as it breaks the window behind him.
"It's too obvious, your eyes are focusing on my head too much."
Just as the woman panics while about to shoot again, Gian this time takes out a broken glass shard from the floor and throws it towards her, stabbing her right to the eye.
"Aaarrgghh!!"
Just as a blood curdling scream echoed, Gian didn't took a care as she rushed in an instant and back kicked her, sending her back a meter to outside. Making her unconscious while blood on her head spills the cement floor.
Fred stood silently, his emotions conflicted. In the end though, he chose the worst decision.
"Yooouuuui!!!"
Fred sends a hook punch towards Gian square on the face. Yet there's no effect at all. Gian just stands still, his head pushing the fist back. That's when Fred realizes it. Despite the amount of damage fatty had done to him already, for some reason...
He still looked fine.
Fred's back was grabbed from behind and it looked like gian was almost hugging him. But then suddenly, Gian's free left hand sent a barrage of jabs to Fred's face. Making it swollen in a matter of seconds and making it bloody to the point that his eye is literally red from direct hits.
And just like that, Fred falls to the floor.
The cashier falls to the ground, her eyes tearing up and her mouth shaking. Gian notices this and lends her a hand with a smile. Seeing this expression, the girl thought that maybe... maybe this man is a hero. A hero That just wanted for save her...
The girl blushed and took the hand.
"T-thank you... f-for saving me..." she fidgeted.
"Hm? What are talking about?"
Gian punches the girl straight to the abdomen, making her consciousness slowly pull out. Just before she falls, she hears his last words.
"I just want to do that."
Gian stands in the center of the mess around Him. Rather, 'Nero' stands and takes a good look in his beautiful creation.
"Do you see this master? Do you believe in my power now?"
Yes... you're so amazing... you are so powerful... with this power I can destroy him... I can degenerate him...!
"Yes master... you definitely can. Now, how about we kill them here? So that I can quench my thirst at least..."
No... killing them would bring news to my brother. I already owe him enough for this. Don't worry though, I am going to kill him after all. You can even torture him or some shit. After all, that's what you are, right? Roman emperor Nero?
"Hahaha... that was just my past name. Such a thing is not Important anymore. As long as I gain power, I would do anything Master Gian."
Yes... Kyle, with this power, I will kill you..!
His purest desire have now been achieved. Power to rival his, its now in Gian's hand. This time around, He will destroy him completely, and dominate his pathetic life like a peasant he is..!

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
