"Alright, let's start off simple while we walk," I let go of his arm walking backward so I can look at him still at a moderate walking speed." You didn't really answer a question I had asked at the canteen."
"I thought I was going to be the one to ask questions?"
"You still can, but let's make a game out of it so it isn't too boring," I smiled, "I ask one, then you, then back to me, that way we get to know more about one another."
"If I were to guess, you'll take lead?"
"Of course! I'm your boss now after all," I spin around letting my tail curl out of my uniform's coat." What do I look like to you? In detail."
He scanned over my face then to my tail. I took notice on how cold his eyes felt as his scan of me, felt as if he saw through me. I could also take a closer look at his eyes, they were such a lovely color that I almost got lost in then.
"Tail, greyish pale skin, dark purple hair, and light purple eyes. It's pretty obvious that you're not human."
"ooh you got some sharp eyes their kid," I grinned childishly." Your go!"
"What are you?"
"Hmmm... there isn't a proper way to shorten the answer I'm afraid." I puffed up my cheeks." to properly explain what I am would lead you too far away from the question. But as simple as I can say, I'm a rare type of devil."
"I see then-"
"Hold it!" I placed a finger to his lips. "It's my turn."
"Are you not originally from London? Your voice sounds a little different."

" That's because I'm speaking in an American accent, I was raised here in London by my mother's."
"Mother's?" He placed his finger to my lips.
"It's my turn," he mocked my voice as his eyes soften a bit. "Why are you and your "siblings" here?"
"..."
I took a minute to look around and saw a small shop with the inscriptions,
Aengus flowers, on a board above it. I took notice that this building was covered in a heavenly scent.
"walk and talk, I want something from here," one foot after the other, stepping to the entrance of the shop. I opened the door getting slapped with all of the different floral smells. the inside had flowers and shrubs in multiple different pots of multiple of colors, and shapes. Many of the flowers were just as much that case.
"Hello and welcome!" a short chubby woman popped up from behind the counter. It was evident that something was odd about her and that was something I was willing to overlook for the day. "what can I help you with?"
"Hello, I was wondering if you had scarlet zinnias," I let this woman see me, as myself.
Her cheering smile began to sag, and that shine to her began to dim. "o-oh... um, would you like anything else? Maybe a Daffodil or even a white lily"
I laughed at the last flower recommendation. I could tell my laughter made the poor woman shrink in place," no. I can't say that flower suits me. Do you not have any Zinnias?"
"W-well I.. W-we do! We do! I'll be right back ma'ma." she then rushed to a door behind the counter.
"She's a tab timid don't you think?" I turned to the confused boy behind me. placing my lips closer to his ear. " my team is looking for the source of the mess of monsters that have entered your world, and destroy it. But I have now noticed it wasn't just monsters that came here."

"what do you mean, exactly" my eyes glazed to the door, as a short woman came out with a potted red flower. She looked very scared, as she was about to look up, Onix quickly turned around as the women placed the pot on the counter.
"Oh, how lovely" she smiled to the scared women. she then spoke in an odd language that made the woman now shake. I couldn't tell what she was saying, but it seemed like Onix was interrogating her as her pupil slit, yet her voice seemed calm. The woman was so close to tears. she then began to speak in the same language, her voice cracking and silent sobs escaped her as she gestured to the front door. Onix began to speak with that of impatience and slowly began to hiss.
When I was about to intervene, Onix sighed and spoke softly smiling kindly. As she did the lady began to calm herself. Onix grabbed something from her pocket and it was a very pale shining coin, then a few gold color coins.
"Im heni-, im will meth ha an cin, cin gar- mui peth ," her pupil returned to normal. and the woman began to smile. but she then gestured to me in the same odd language.
"Baw ho na- firen a has baw naw what mín a pent," she laughed pointing at me. Then she did a small bow." I'm thankful for the flower, you have a cute shop. I hope to do buy more during spring." the small woman's bright smile returned and waved goodbye as Onix dragged me out the door with her.
"What did you say to her?"
"Some this and that," she smiled holding the pot delicately. "Tell me did you see something odd about that lady?"
"The only odd thing I witnessed was that language you both were speaking in."
"Well, you probably thought she was human since her ears were covered by her hair. That woman is not from your world." she sniffed at the tiny red flower.
"Then is she a monster like that horse?"
"No, well not necessarily a monster. She's a half-elf that immigrated here a while back apparently."
A half-elf? Is her world bloody lord of rings?
"You've never seen one?"
"No, can't say that I have met an elf."
"Half-elf, they don't all like being grouped together." She corrected me with a hint of offense."Anyway, we'll discuss this at another time, Al," she smiled and sank into the ground through her own shadow.

Isekai'd slave
Edward, a regular guy, is transported to another world at the wrong time and place. Slowly, he adapts, paves his way, and faces whatever misfortune awaits. This is my first work. I'm mostly messing around with different themes/characters. The first few chapters are pretty inconsistent, containing most of the rough experimentation, but if you can get past them - I'm sure you'll have a much nicer time. Do not expect anything of notable quality; however, any advice/criticism/suggestions are greatly appreciated. The story won't involve any dark themes, so no excessive violence, rape, etc. Discord
