Grandpa contacted the authorities of the monastery to inform them of the divination & the supporting signs to suggest taking precautionary measures. The higher ups also noticed the change in the atmosphere & instructed them to create a plan of action in case of an emergency.

The monks along with Sr Shen & Sr Wong drafted a plan to create an alternate shelter elsewhere, away from this location deep inside the mountain caves that no one ventures. They are situated at a high altitude, well hidden - only drawback is lack of food resources, they need to create a storage of food for the long term settlement & cultivate a part of suitable land there with the trees, plants & herbs required. The gardeners immediately went on an exploratory mission to search for a suitable plot of land to develop their backup resources garden. After a few days they came back with good news that they found a hidden lake inside the caves that led to a secret mass of very fertile land big enough to be a town already filled with wild varieties of trees like a dense forest. They have to clear out some part of the land for cultivating necessary resources. The forest will provide wild berries, fruits, herbs etc that are required. They immediately transplanted the majority of their important herbs and plants in the secret forest. Started building dwellings in the caves.

A few months passed by and the backup preparations were going well , Long Shen & Snowy were experimenting with their summoner skills. LS discovered that he can bring a brilliant gold book with mysterious writings in it in his consciousness to look at the progress of Snowy, cultivation level etc. Snowy is registered under a strange name - Wolf God’s descendant. He felt it to be funny to think that Snowy is a descendant of god, with how weak it was when he found it. Every spirit beast has its own potential for growth. Beasts with the name God associated with them have unlimited growth potential. Although they might seem weak initially but the catch here is their growth - many spirit beasts are restricted in their growth potential in terms of level - Mortal rank, Earth rank, Sky rank, etc.,

As the level of summoner grows so does his ability to form the no of spirit contracts as it is proportional to the spirit power an individual has, over drawing spirit power causes severe exhaustion & in some rare cases death. LS discovered that he can track the whereabouts of Snowy in his consciousness. They can communicate using their consciousness. The contracted beasts are from the spirit world that enters the current world through cracks in space & time due to various reasons. Once they become contracted spirits they gain the key to open the door to the spirit world to return when they reach the pinnacle of their power (by breaking the world barriers) or when their master releases them. There are cases where slave contracts are branded on powerful spirits using underhanded methods, the spirits in such cases are not loyal & will break free if they find a weakness, many times killing their captors.

It is best for both the parties to be willing for a summoner relationship. Long Shen & Snowy’s contract was that of equal partners, no one is superior in this type of contract which is based on mutual trust & love. Such types of contracts can only be formed once in a Spirit’s lifetime.

As days went by, Long Shen & Snowy’s team work improved by leaps & bounds, both entered mid stages of Qi accumulation within a short span. This growth rate was astounding. They spent their time hunting small beasts, eating & sleeping. While LS is reading Snowy used to sleep in his lap or the table.

6 months after the wild beast attack Snowy reached late Qi accumulation stage (7th Stage) & Long Shen is at the peak Mid Stage of Qi Accumulation (6th Stage).

One day Long Shen is sleeping in the library with his drool all over the book, he broke into the 7th stage of Qi Accumulation. That night he had a strange dream of Playing with a woman in a wonderful world & later the woman carrying him over her shoulder to rescue him as he was grievously hurt, he also heard “My son, Mother will protect you no matter what ….” Then a sudden golden light blinded his eyes.

Early morning just before he woke up he had another dream of a Young woman dressed in Glacial blue clothes sitting near a river, she was stunningly beautiful, a miracle of heavens - it would be the boon of a lifetime just to have a glance at her pristine face. Long Shen was wandering along the riverside and came across the young woman sitting there deep in thought. “Hey young lady are you lost?” asked Long Shen as if he knew where he was! The lady lifted her head & looked at Long Shen surprised. “Can you see me?” She asked, excitedly. “Yes I can..“ nodded LS. The young Woman enthusiastically approached Long Shen. “This is the first time i saw someone other than my reflection here, i don't know how long it has been since i got stuck here, hey kid how did you get here? Where is the exit?” The lady asked. “ I am not a Kid! I am Long Shen …” insisted LS. “Sorry, Long Shen. I am Ying Yue, Can you please get me out of here?” Pleaded the young Woman.

“Even I don’t know how I got here….” Chuckled Long Shen. Ying Yue felt dejected & again sat down on the riverbed. “Don’t be sad Miss Yue, I will definitely get you out of here.” said LS confidently. “ How? Even you, don’t know how you got here…” sighed Ying Yue. LS had no reply what Ying Yue said is true, he felt like a dumb rock bragging without reason. As he was thinking what to say to save his face, Ying Yue started to fade away until she finally disappeared…

Long Shen stretched his hand to stop her from disappearing but caught hold of only air…

Then suddenly a warm heat burned his hand (the sunlight from library windows) which made him wake up from his sleep… That was a hell of a night!! He broke through, had a dream about his mother (Supposedly) & met a stunningly beautiful woman.

As he was thinking about the events of last night, Snowy already woke up before him & was chasing butterflies in the garden outside.
