LS felt confused, “Why did grandpa say that he is still at Qi accumulation stage? Grandpa only knew the last time I broke through the 8th rank Qi accumulation. But I broke through the 9th rank after fighting the wild snake & leveled up 3 more times in the pond...”

LS observed the monks at the body strengthening stage of cultivation, they were able to carry big rocks like it was nothing, punching boulders & smashing small size stones, they didn’t feel any pain. He was also able to do all these things with ease, that is the reason LS thought he broke through to the next stage. If he is still in Qi accumulation stage he must be at the 12th rank of Qi accumulation, but he never heard of such a level existing in the cultivation ranks, in the books there were only 9 ranks. He must be an exception to this rule… Is it because of the 9DWG method? Suspected LS.

After testing his new powers for a few more hours, he went to the lake to eat his fill of wild fish returning to his cave by nightfall. He fell into a deep slumber. When he again opened his eyes he was near the lake in his dreams with Yue Ying looking at the moon in the sky. LS approached her to know how she was doing. She said she was fine

Yue Ying asked ``Is it just me or you seem to appear in this world very often… are you a prisoner too like me?” chuckling.

“I don’t know, I end up here, when I am fast asleep. All of this feels like a dream..” answered LS.

“Hmm.. Your connection to this world is different. I have no recollection of what I do beyond this world..” sighed Yue Ying.

LS could not bear seeing Yue Ying sad, he diverted the topic with the question.. “Yue Ying is there a 10th level of Qi accumulation?”.

“Yes there is … “ YY replied without hesitation.

“But only a few are able to break through to the ranks above 9, it depends on their talent & the method they cultivate. My method of cultivation - Moon God’s Might (MGM) has 15 ranks for each stage. I forgot to mention earlier, your method should also have 15 ranks for each stage because I got this method from the same book that gave you the 9DWG method. I found it on the first day I arrived near the lake. Before coming here I was always lost in an empty dark place, this place is much better than the dark prison I was in. Any genuine method with the name God in it is blessed by the heavens & only accessed by the intended successors; others cannot practice the method due to the restrictions placed on the practitioners of the method, it is extremely challenging to progress even for the successors. During every breakthrough to the next stage, you will be judged by the heavens whether you are worthy to move to the next stage or not, else you will become a cripple, hurt yourselves, regress in cultivation, lose the luck & talent you earlier had or even die. These are the punishments for those who are unworthy of the method they received.”

Yue Ying further explained “My method MGM - (Moon God’s Might) is a soul cultivation art - it is perfectly suitable for me because I am a soul trapped here. This miraculous method transformed my soul’s power. I believe, when I become powerful enough, I can break this prison I seemed to be trapped in.”

There was a hint of optimism in her voice.

“Do you mean that, I have to break through 15 ranks in each stage & face heavenly judgement at each stage? Isn’t it too unfair!” exclaimed LS.

“Nothing is unfair in this world, there are many who would kill their own parents, commit unimaginable atrocities for such a cultivation method much less than what we received. But you are given a god level cultivation method, you have a chance to become a true god. Do you still think that it is unfair? What did you do to gain such a boon from the heavens?” questioned Yue Ying

“I am sorry I started complaining without realizing the great power I am bestowed with” said LS ashamed.

“With great power comes great responsibility, promise me that you will use this power to only do good...” said Yue Ying extending her hand for a promise.

“I promise, I will only use this power for good…” said LS resolutely.

LS broke through to the 13th rank immediately.

“The 10,11,12 ranks correspond to the physical limits & 13, 14, 15 ranks belong to the mental limits / comprehension limits. Only when one overcomes their mental & physical limits can they receive the acknowledgement of the heavens to break through to the next stages. Else they will be stuck at the same stage unless they learn & comprehend the wisdom of the heavens” explained Yue Ying.

LS felt that he is at a loss for the knowledge Yue Ying has, he really needed guidance on the method he is cultivating, who can be a better master than the person who gave him the method?

He immediately asked “Yue Ying, will you teach me ? Will you be my Master?”

Yue Ying smiled & said “ Sure, but you have to call me Mater Yue Ying from now on, ok?”

“Master Yue Ying….” LS Bowed down to Yue Ying to show his respect.
