“Ha ha ha ha…” Yue Ying laughed with her hands holding her belly.

Long Shen lifted his head to see Yue Ying laughing … It felt like time froze & he could pass an entire eternity just by looking at her laughing. He was content in this moment, looking at Yue Ying, her beauty, unparalleled among the celestial angels. Like a full moon that has no blemishes, serene & majestic. He was in a trance at that moment, deeply engrossed.

Yue Ying waved her hand in front of Long Shen’s eyes. He broke out of the trance, confused.

“You looked like a dumb log a moment ago, as if you have become an idiot, without any movement..” chuckled Yue Ying.

“Sorry I was lost in thought…” Replied LS

“I was just joking with you, I received the Moon God’s Might method just a little time before you got your 9DWG Method. What can I teach you, when I myself am a student?” replied YY

“But you know much more than I know regarding the hurdles in the cultivation of methods like ours. If you won’t teach me, who will?” sighed LS

“Don’t get discouraged… I said I can’t be your master, I never said anything about not helping you…” Smiled YY

“So will you help me?” asked LS enthusiastically

“Hmm I will help you as your friend. I will teach you whatever I can comprehend about the methods & martial arts etc.,” assured Yue Ying

“Thank you Yue Ying … I will also give my all to get you out of this place, when I become powerful enough..” Said Long Shen resolutely.

“Hmm great. I look forward to that day ….“ smilingly replied Yue Ying, as she slowly disappeared & LS woke up soon after.

This is the first time Long Shen made a promise to someone.

He really wanted to break Yue Ying out of the dream world. With the promise acting as a fuel to move him towards becoming stronger, he started practicing his cultivation & martial arts every day religiously as if he was a macchine. He learnt the value of diligent practice & he kept on going. After a month he felt like he had reached his limit. That night he broke through 13th rank in his sleep.

After that he started reading about various subjects like alchemy etc. During his readings he came across a statement “ A martial artist should have a firm determination, not shaken by anything. Even if the heavens fall, one must remain unaffected in the pursuit of the ultimate truth. Only then can we surpass the heavenly trials & tribulations that we will encounter in our path to the peak of the martial arts world. One must NEVER GIVE UP in their pursuits”

This statement made LS think long & hard on what is it that he should base his emotions on? How should he react to unforeseen situations that are out of his control.

“When a nobleman takes revenge, ten years is not too late…” this is another statement that intrigued LS.

“I think one must always stay calm, regardless of the situation; biding his time to strike back at the crucial moment, many years might pass, but one must firmly hold on to their resolutions and promises” thought LS.

Yue Ying’s thoughts were also in the similar lines, She elaborated that: “If one does not have a firm Dao heart, then the heaven’s tribulations will be much more difficult to pass & there is a high chance of perishing during the heavenly tribulations. One’s fate is entirely dependent on the Dao heart and the determination to excel in the martial arts world. Otherwise one will perish under someone else’s hands, if not the heavens. The martial arts world is a brutal rat race, always one tries to surpass & suppress others for their own gains.

Being anxious will never get you anywhere, anxiousness is one of the inner demons that everyone of us have to battle. We are mortal no matter how powerful one becomes unless you become a God. You will eventually die even after living for eons. Hence, one must not fear for their death, one day everyone has to die, so why should we fear every day for the thing that will eventually happen? Let go of the worries about the things that are not under our control. Focus on what you can control & everyday try to live life as if it was a gift from heaven, improve yourself, learn, experience & save the weak / oppressed.

The mighty can do anything in this world, no one can save the weak from exploitation and slavery. There are fates worse than dying for the weak, they hang onto a belief that someone will deliver them out of their miseries, this hope is the only thing that makes them endure these hellish fates. Without hope they will be walking corpses, no soul left to ignite their will to live…

As fortunate ones blessed by the heavens that received God tier cultivation methods, it is our duty to uphold justice, save the oppressed & make this world a better place. Don’t forget that our power has to be used to fight against the evil in the world….”

After YY gave her a piece of wisdom on the importance of Dao heart, the nature of the martial arts world & being calm at all times, LS meditated on these truths that night after she disappeared.

‘Boom, boom!’ - he broke through to the 14th & 15 th rank of Qi accumulation simultaneously, after meditating on the truths for another month, just as YY said. Comprehension also plays a major part in breakthroughs, not just martial power.

“Just One more rank & I will reach the body strengthening stage” said LS as he clenched his fists in accomplishment. Snowy seemed to have already reached the peak of the Qi accumulation stage, waiting for the right time to break through to the next stage. Earlier he mistook snowy to be in the Body cultivation stage, but it seems the case is different for Snowy.
