Hold up
Me and my dawgs old, day one
You would think we didn't, grow up
Cause all they say
"The good die young, all the good don't last"
So what? I brought a record deal to the middle of the map
And I still, ain't blow up
Fuck fame, we don't need no one, me and my team pour up
All day roll up, celebratin' every day we don't spend poorer
Hesitation never get a closed mouth fed
Hesitation never booked a ten day tour, but I did, I did
And that was as a motherfucking kid , in the hood I was a young Brad Pitt
Cause I was that shit, and that's when I was hopping on the 19, grinding, plotting on this, so I need that pronto
Dreaming of the view on the top floor, three million views on a talk show
Now I'm finna tell the world who I talk for, this is for the ones
Riding around, smoking that dope
Riding around, smoking that dope
This is for the ones
High cause the flow so dope
High cause the flow so dope
[Pre-Hook]
If you been a real motherfucker your whole life
Live the hard-knock life and you can't pay bills, shit, that's all right
I feel that
But if you're gonna chill motherfucker, don't hold back, smoke up
And we can live a little bit, cause we ain't worried about shit
We ain't worried about shit
[Hook]
You ain't living this life though
You ain't living my life
You can't do it
You ain't living this life though
You ain't living my life
I've been through it
You ain't living this life though
You ain't living this life
You can't do it
You ain't living my life though
You ain't living my life
I've been through it

[Verse 2]
Let me talk
I remember you when you were just a teen
Battle rapping on 116th
Take the rapping to the square (?)
Posted in the trap with the shrimp (?)
(What happened?)
I love you C-L-E, that's why I'm trying to take us to the T-O-P
I'm sick of seeing suckas busy, always trying to leech, lucky I ain't never charged a hundred fifty for a feat , cause
Everybody want some
Seen me on the television once, think I'm balling but really I ain't got nothin'
Why you think I never changed?
Y'all don't get it
Tell me, how would you feel?
If you went back home and the love's all gone cause you always kept it too real
Tell them bum motherfuckers go and get it on your own
This is for the ones who stuck with your boy like glue
One time for the crew, the ones who'd never leave me for the loot, the ones who, if I need, gon' shoot
This is for the ones who smoking that dope
Riding around, smoking that dope
This is for the ones
High cause the flow so dope
High cause the flow so dope

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice. (And if you actually read all of the above, then this story may be for you) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.

Ether mage
Everyone is born with mana. Some people are born with more. Some are born with less. If they practice enough, they can improve those numbers, but if you don't even have enough to practice with, there isn't much you can do. Everyone is also born with ether. It is useful, but can't power any spells by itself. It only gives them shape. You don't normally need much ether. It is nice to be able to summon swords out of thin air, but not really that useful ability in a peaceful country, where enchanted items are so cheap. For people born with bigger ether pool, there isn't much to do except double their efforts to get more mana. Or reach out for a forbidden power...

The Event Master
It is a reincarnation/transmigration story where the MC can only do magic that is socially condemned, but is protected somewhat by his powerful political station. For as long as he can keep it, anyway. With a little luck and some modern world thinking, perhaps he'll come up with something to change people's minds. Not forcefully though, that would be unethical. ** The MC is not a fighter. He's a gamer. He loves rpgs, movies, modern music, and telling stories. I intend to post at least once a week in the range of 2k words. If work eases up I'll increase the amount again. ((Work has instead intensified to the point where I'm struggling to get a chapter every two weeks. I'll pick it back up properly when I can, but for now it is on temporary hiatus while I still might post every once and awhile. This winter, I plan to go back to regular posts until the story finishes.))
