i'm sitting in the airport with my phone in my hand. my phone suddenly rings and i see it's billie.

i answer it and i'm met by her angry. "why the fuck aren't you here?"

"i need to take off for a week" i say

"what? why? i need you here aaliyah" she say

"either way i'm not coming to work so...."

"so you want me to fire you? i need you at work aaliyah. you can't just not come when you want to"

"i just got back from the hospital two days ago and i haven't had time to process everything. i come to work everyday and you're complaining because i want a week off. i don't care fire me" i say before hanging up

i stop sharing my location with her and call sierra. "you okay?" she asks

"yeah...don't tell billie where i am if she asks you. i don't need her coming all the way to florida for me because i'm not coming back just cause she said so" i say

"yeah sure...be safe alright"

"i'll be fine. i'm going to be with aria" i say before hanging up

i'm sitting outside of the airport waiting for aria to come get me. i notice some people looking at me and secretly taking pictures of me.

i don't understand that though because i'm not the business owner i'm just the girlfriend. thinking about it,i feel like having kids would be horrible,i don't want my kids to feel like this when they go places.

i spot aria's car and stand up with my suitcase. i put my bag in her trunk before i walk to the passenger side.

"hey" i say getting in the car

we hug each other and i smile. "hey" she say as we pull away from each other

"i missed you" i smile

"i missed you too,are you hungry?"

"i mean yeah" i say

"great,i know this place" she say

i nod before looking out the window.

"did you tell your girlfriend where you're going to be?" she asks

"no. i just told her i needed a week from work" i say

"what did she say?"

"she got mad,which is pretty weird to me because-"

"that is weird. you just found out you couldn't have kids and there was a low chance of you having one. you had to deal with our shitty mom and you lost a baby. she should've been with you comforting you" she say

"you're right but then she can't just not run her business" i say

"do you hear yourself aaliyah? she can,you've told me about the many times she didn't go into work to be with you. so why when you need her the most she magically want to go to work" she say

"maybe-"

"no,i don't want to hear you take up for her. you know she's in the wrong"she say

"you're right" i say

"i know i am" she say before suddenly speeding past a yellow light

"so how have you been?" i ask

"it doesn't matter,we're focused on you. you are the one having a horrible life right now" she say

"she told me what cameron did to you" i mumble

suddenly she slams on breaks. "i'm fine" she say before pressing the horn "MOVEEE"

the car in front of us is taking too long to turn. soon we get to a restaurant and is now both sitting in a booth.

"well my boyfriend is a teacher,he's amazing with kids. he told me he loved me but i'm not really comfortable with saying that yet. i mean isn't it too early for that? it's been two years...like that doesn't seem too early?" she rambles

i mentally laugh knowing what my grandma said was correct. "love is different with each person" i say

"but it's been two years? that's like...a long time isn't it?" she panics

"i think you should just try something different...like...i don't know...girls?"

"i'm straight" she say

sure jan.

"okay whatever you say" i say before sipping on my water

i then notice her look at something behind me. i turn my head to see a tall woman with long blonde hair standing in line.

ohhhhhhhhh she's just like me. a white woman's whore....

"okayyyyy" i laugh a little

"what?" she asks

"nothing" i say quickly

"she's pretty" she say still looking at the woman

"yeah she is" i say before taking another sip

she don't know yet but soon she will come to her senses.

we got our food and i immediately begin eating. i mean technically i haven't ate all day.

i groan frustrated at the front door of aaliyah's house . i've been knocking and knocking and i haven't got a reply.

usually i would've just walked in but i feel like i made her mad or something. i give up and just walk back to my car.

i've been texting her a lot but she hasn't answered. she haven't even had the decency to open the messages.

i pull out my phone texting sierra. i know damn well she knows where aaliyah is.

i ignore all this talk about her not knowing where aaliyah is and begin making my way to her house.

soon i pull up in the driveway and get out the car happily walking my ass to that front door. i begin knocking on the door repeatedly.

the door opens and when sierra sees me her eyes widen in shock.

"move!" i say pushing past her to walk inside the house

i look around every corner of the house making sure aaliyah isn't here. "where is she?" i ask

"i don't fucking know billie. i told you this" she say

"yeah yeah,that's what they all say. i know you know something. so you tell me where she is now"

"i don't fucking know" she yells angrily "stop being annoying and leave"

"no. i know you know where she is"

"you're right i do" she smiles

"then tell me! what the fuck sierra"

"she specifically told me not to tell you. i'm not telling you" she shrugs

"i'll give you one million in cash" i say

"nah i'm good" she say opening a bag of chips

who the hell let's go of a offer of free money?!?

"i was busy watching tv before you came and you're interrupting my peace. do me a favor and get your butterless popcorn ass out" she say

"mhm whatever" i roll my eyes "was she mad at me?"

"i don't know" she shrugs

"bye sierra" i say before walking out the front door

i get in my car trying to think of another person who would know where she is.
