After everyone got sorted they all went to bed. The next morning when Lucy got up she couldn't. She looked beside her and found a sleeping natsu. "Ahhhhh!!! Lucy kick! What the hell are you doing here natsu!" She yelled which woke everyone up. "What happened!" Everyone asked. They then saw natsu still sleeping after that. "Come one Luce... just 5 .... more minutes," natsu said still asleep. That was until Erza came into the room and screamed, "NATSU DRAGNEEL JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING IN LUCYS BED!!!" Erza saying that woke natsu up. "I-I'm s-sorry Erza," natsu said his voice cracking.
Then out of nowhere Loke appeared which freaked out everyone except the people from fairy tail. "Ahhhhh!!! Who is he???" They all asked. "I heard my princess scream so I came to help. But I didn't realize she was with such beautiful lady's." Loke said kissing Hermione's hand. Which resulted in Lucy, lucy kicking him out of the window. "H-he was annoying but he didn't deserve to die!" Hermione said. "Don't worry he's not dead," Lucy said casually. As if on cue, Loke appeared again, which scared all of the girls. "Go away Loke," Lucy said waving her hand signalling Loke to go away. Loke finally disappeared and everybody went to get ready.

"What's this thing called Defense against the dark arts?" Natsu asked. "You don't know what DADA is?!" Harry said extremely surprised. "No, none of us do. Are we supposed to know?" Lucy asked confused. "It basically teaches us how to defend ourselves against dark arts. That's why it's called defence against the dark arts." Hermione explained. "Oh," They all said. "Sit down class is about to start." Harry said. When class started, instead of seeing their normal DADA teacher they saw Gildarts. "'Sup people my name is Gildarts Clive, but you can just call me mr. Clive, Gildarts, professor Clive or whatever you want, I really don't care." Gildarts said introducing himself. 'He seems like a laid back teacher,' everyone except fairy tail thought.

"Well anyway toda--" before he could finish his sentence he put his hand on the table making it break and turn into small little cubes. "Eh, does anyone know how to fix this." Gildarts asked everyone. Immediately Hermione raised her hand, "yes, ms....?" He trailed off waiting for her name, "Granger," Hermione said. "Yes, ms. granger do you know how to fix this?" Gildarts asked scratching the back of his head. "Yes I do," She said. "Reparo," She said and the desk was fixed.
Neville then raised his hand. "Yes," Gildarts said turning his attention to Neville. "How did you break that desk when you just touched it?" Gildarts started to sweat, because he couldn't think of anything to say. He started glancing around to his guild mates to try to see if one would help. "Oh um, that's because— well you see," before he could finish talking levy answered for him. "It's because he always holds his wand with his left hand when he thinks he's holding it with his right hand, so it was his wand not him." She told him. "Thanks levy." He said silently under his breath that only the dragon Slayers could hear him.
"Well anyway, what do you guys want to do today?" He asked. Lavender raised her hand. "Yes ms...?" He waited for her to answer again. "Brown," she answered. "What do you want to do?" He asked again. "I want to know how you got a metal arm and leg," She said. They're were lots of murmurs of agreement. "Ok then," Gildarts said getting comfy in his chair. "Well have you ever heard of a dragon named Acnologia?" He asked. "No," were heard all around, until Ron spoke up. "Is it even stronger then the Hungarian horntail?" Gildarts thought for a second while remembering Acnologia's strength and silently shivering. "Yes, definitely," He said confident.

"Whatever that is," Gildarts said that under his breath. "Well it's this really powerful dragon probably stronger then any dragon that you've ever seen." He said. "And when I was on a j— er mission sent on by the m--er headmaster and it attacked me. I barely got away with my life, but at the cost of my arm and leg." He finished, hoping that no one heard his mistakes. "Wow," was heard all around from everybody except fairy tail.
A little while later, after defensive against the dark arts was over, all the houses got called into the hall again.
