《stranger things smut & Imagines》bus ride

The only other thing Indiana was known for besides corn, was shitty weather. It had been snowing for the past three days non stop causing the roads to be slick with ice and piles of dirty slush to build up. You took the bus to work almost everyday, you knew what route the bus driver took and the houses along the way.
The temperature was way below freezing when the bus stopped working. The whole vehicle turned off, the battery not starting up again. You sat in the back of the bus waiting for something to start working, the air around you nipping at your skin and your breath fogging up the ice covered window.
With the sleeve of your coat, you wipe at the foggy window, trying to see out of it. Your eyes dart from house to house, trying to see if you could recognize one. Everyone around you was already out of the bus and making their way to a friends house. You let out a chattery huff before choosing to stand up and make your way off of the vehicle as well.
The snow reflected the sun above causing it to sparkle all around you, it would have been a beautiful sight if it weren't for the frigid air around you. Even the bus driver had abandoned his bus, making his way to someone's house to call for help. Once again, you look around at all the houses, your eye catching one you recognize.
Lucas Sinclair.
You had never really talked to the boy before, just a few science questions and quiet giggles. You had a few classes with him so you knew who he was, you prayed that he knew who you were too.
The snow was flooding into your socks and shoes, having to step through deep piles of crunchy snow. You had to hop slightly to get over the pile near his driveway. You walk carefully up the path to his house, careful not to slip as you step onto the porch. Raising your shaky fist, you knock quickly on the door.

You let out a sigh of relief when Lucas swung the heavy door open. His eyes showed confusion, his brows were knitted together and his lips in a small pout.
"Y/N? What are you doing here?" He asked with genuine confusion.
"Well, the um, bus broke down" You pointed over your shoulder, before continuing. "Everyone left to go home or find somewhere a lot warmer, so I was uh wondering if I could stay here until I can get a ride or the bus gets fixed" You ushered out, wanting to get out of the cold as soon as possible.
Lucas cursed under his breath and shook his head before motioning for you to enter his home. You could immediately feel the warmth soak into your body, Lucas took your coat and hung it next to you as you took off your snow covered boots and soaking wet socks. He seemed to have disappeared somewhere, leaving you alone to look around.
His house felt snug and cozy, pictures of his family were tacked to the walls and littered the tables of every room. A smile tugged on your lips as you look around the front entrance of his home, hands rubbing against your arms, trying to gain some type of friction.
"Here, this should help keep you warm." Lucas handed you a pile of clothes as he lead you to the bathroom for you to change.
His clothes were soft, warming you up quickly. You exited the bathroom and walked into the kitchen where Lucas was waiting for you.
"Uh you can call your mom or someone with that phone, if you want" Lucas spoke, his words low as he glanced back up at your flushed cheeks. You mumbled a quiet thank you, and made your way over to the phone and dialed in your number, explaining to your guardian what was going on.

Lucas watched you with a fixed stare, he felt drawn to you, your flushed cheeks and voice made his heart race and butterflies attack his stomach. Maybe he would try and get to know you more, ask you out even at some point in his life.
He just wanted to spend more time with you and that was what he was going to do.
