It's been two months since the two couples got married. One month since Veeru and Taara returned from their one-month long honeymoon. Arjun and Diya were quite busy with their professional commitments. Diya went on a camp, while Arjun was busy in guiding the students on a project. Arjun's college principal had requested him to guide the final year students which he accepted gladly. Surya is trying to move on and Sravya is on a tour. Pranav is trying to impress his little one. And Aashi is slowly recovering and coping up with the fact that her parents are no more.

And coming to our couple, Maya is missing Avi badly. Want to know why?

Well, Avi and Arpita are working on a joint project with an international client. So, they went to London to finalise the deal. Though they have worked on many international projects in the past, this one is an important one and brings huge profits to both of their companies. So, Avi and Arpita went to London two weeks ago. And Yash was busy with the college due to the semester. So, Maya asked Arpita to drop the twins in their home.

So, let's see what is our Maya doing.

Maya is sitting on the bed and watching an old movie in their room. Aashi was sitting beside her and handing her tissues, looking at her bestie in disbelief. She is crying for the past half-an-hour watching that movie. Just then Aashi received a call from Avi. She answered the call and told,

God! Bhaiyya, I can't handle this stupid wife of yours. She is crying, while watching a comedy movie and only God knows why. One day she is sleeping like a panda and the other day she is staying awake whole night like a vampire. You know, last night she ate a whole tub of unicorn ice-cream by sneaking. Sometimes I feel the twins are better than her. She went on complaining about Maya, while Maya looked at her with a cute pout.

"This idiot jumped from my team and became her bhaiyya ki chamchi. Stupid girl can't she keep quiet. She is telling each and everything happening here to him. Such a gossip queen she is. She will come to me na, asking to bake her favourite red-velvet cupcakes, then I'll see her. And what does that idiot think of himself. First he left me here and went there. Everyday he used to roam behind me asking for the one thing or other, calling me bunny, bunny. Now, he is not calling me properly. Let him come, I'll beat him with the broom."

Heart: If you have forgotten then let me remind you. He asked you to come along with him but you were the one who simply denied him.

Mind: You just shut your mouth okay. You always support him. Maya we both are angry with him, and we are not talking to him at least for a week after his return.

Maya rubbed her nose and nodded her head with a pout.

Mind: So, we are not talking to him.

Maya: Yes!

Heart: I'll see, how long you will stay without talking to him. Smirking at them.

Aashi hit Maya's head making her pout.

Why did you hit me?

Here my bhaiyya is waiting to talk to you, and there you are roaming in your dream land.

Maya: Tell your bhaiyya that, I'm not talking with him. She said, turning her face away.

Avi laughed from the other side looking at her antics. Listening to his laughter Maya got angry.

Maya: See, how your bhaiyya is smiling making me cry. That's why, tell him that I'm not going to talk to him.

Okay then, Aashi?

Aashi: Haa, bhai. She said looking at her ipad screen.

I've bought someone's favourite chocolates. So we both will eat them without sharing them with her when I come back. He told winking at Aashi.

Listening to him, Aashi smiled inwardly and joined him,

Yes, bhaiyya.

But Maya was lost in her world, she didn't listen their talk. Maya silently moved to the balcony and sat there on the swing. Just Varsha and Vansh came running to her asking for cookies. She picked up Vansh in her arms while Varsha held her pinky finger. Three of them moved to the kitchen. Maya made them sit on the breakfast counter top and gave them cookies. She put the milk to boil to heat and stood there thinking about the changes in these two months.

Many things have changed in these two months. She started her "Slice of Dreams" and it became quite popular with in a less time and they were getting a good number of orders regularly, making her busy. When she told the family about "Slice of Dreams" everyone was happy with her decision including her parents. If Maya is specialist in making cookies, desserts and sweet goods, then Aashi is specialist in making bars, breads and pizza.

Well, the thing is, Aashi and Maya together started "Slice of Dreams". Aashi has a dream to start her own business from the childhood. So, Maya asked Aashi to join and thus both of them started their business. They invested their savings and didn't agree to take even a rupee from their respective parterns making them sulk. Both of them are using Aashi's apartment for cooking. They turned the apartment convenient to them. The first order of "Slice of Dreams" was two wedding cakes for the two weddings in the family. They appointed two helpers and two delivery boys. And they were quite busy last week due to many wedding cakes orders.

That's the reason Maya didn't want to go along with Avi as Aashi was just recovering. She didn't want to leave the whole work on her. Even he didn't force her as they would be busy with the meetings and couldn't spend time with her properly.

Everyone are proud of them and are happy to see them working hard. Suhaas would come daily in the evening to spend time with Aashi. She was heart-broken after knowing that her parents were no more in this world. She sticked to her room for one week and didn't allow anyone to meet her except Avi and Suhaas. She didn't even allow her best-friends to meet her. That's when the bond between Aashi and Avi has bloomed.

But there was something that didn't change a bit in these two months. That's the relationship between Maya and her parents. They are badly regretting their actions and trying to mend their relation with their children. But Maya was not at all paying a heed to their efforts. That's what everyone thinks, but deep down her heart is happy seeing their efforts, and craving for their love and waiting for the right moment to forgive her parents.

While in back in their room, Aashi and Avi sighed looking at her.

Aashi: Come fast, bhaiyya. She is not being herself from the past one week. Uncle and aunty came to talk to her but she didn't even step out of her room. We tried to talk to her about them but she was either diverting the topic or staying silent.

Avi: I know, Aashi. Arjun have told me. But it's not easy for her to forgive them after what has happened. She might forgive for all the things they had done till our marriage. But she won't forgive them for trying to separate me from her. These were not my words, she herself told me when we were in our farmhouse.

Aashi: I know, bhaiyya. Still her parents are there in the world. She had tears in her eyes while speaking. I'll call you later, bhaiyya. Saying that, she cut the call.

She took the stick which is beside the bed and stood with the help of it. Well, as she was in coma for an year she was not able to stand properly. She either needs her stick or someone beside her to walk. She is attending the physiotherapy sessions regularly which are really helping her.

She moved down and saw Maya and Raj playing with Varsha and Vansh in the living room. Vani, Gayatri and Sarala were sitting on the sofa and gossiping. Looking at Aashi, Vani stood up and helped her to sit. She went to the kitchen and brought fruits for her. Aashi's eyes brimmed with tears, seeing her love. She blinked her eyes and wiped off her tears, before someone could notice her.

Like this two days passed away. Today Avi and Arpita are coming back from London. And it's a surprise for everyone except Gayatri. And tomorrow is our Avi and Maya's birthday. So, he is coming early to surprise his bunny.

By the time, Arpita and Avi reached home it was midnight around 2 O' clock. Gayatri has sent them a car and spare keys of the house to the airport as they have messaged her the flight details. They slowly tip-toed into the house and reached their respective rooms.

Avi slowly opened his room door without making any sound and peeped inside. He saw Maya sleeping peacefully, cuddling her baby (her teddy). He went in and put his luggage in a corner and went to freshen up first. He came out of the washroom in his shorts and vest while drying his hair with the towel. He threw the towel on the couch and decorated the whole room with balloons and banners. He hung small LED lights here and there and placed the teddy, chocolates and the cake he bought for her on a table and moved it in front of their bed. After completing the decorations, he slowly moved to the bed and removed the teddy from her grip. He removed his vest and lied down beside her. He took her into his arms and kissed her head. Soon, he drifted into sleep due to the tiredness.

The next morning, Maya moved in her sleep. She felt some weight on her, and hot breath fanning on her neck. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Avi sleeping beside her by hugging her tightly. She sat up on the bed with a jerk and touched his face to confirm whether he was really there beside her. She again caressed his face and a few tears left her eyes as she realised he was back to her after 2 weeks. She then looked around and noticed the decorations in the room. She felt overwhelmed by looking at them. She kissed his whole face with love, making his sleep flew away.

Avi slowly opened his eyes as he felt her touch on his skin. He pulled her close to him by her waist and mumbled, "Happy birthday, my love", in her ears and took her lips into a toe-curling kiss. He pushed his tongue into her mouth and entangled it with hers. His hands slowly made their way inside her shirt and drew patterns on her back, while her hands were caressing his hair. He broke the kiss when he felt she couldn't take more.

Both of them joined their heads and were panting. She cupped his face and told, "Happy birthday, Avi", and placed a long kiss on his forehead.

He engulfed her into a hug while she put her head on his chest. After sometime, both of them got down off the bed. She twirled around and giggled like a kid, looking at the room. She then looked at the table where a teddy and the cake were placed. She hugged Avi tightly and gave a sloppy kiss on his cheek, making him laugh at her antics. Both of them, cut the cake and fed each other.

He then noticed her wearing his t-shirt, which had reached below her knees. He yanked her towards him by her waist, and mumbled, "you are looking sexy and tempting in my shirt", and nuzzled his face in her neck. He slid the t-shirt down her shoulder and went on, dropping kisses to her neck. "But you look more hot and alluring without this on your body", saying that, he pulled the shirt over her head and threw it away, making her gasp.

He picked her up in his arms and placed her on the bed. He got above her, and placed his rough lips on her soft ones, once again taking her into a passionate world. He kissed every inch of her body and treasured her every curve. He once again marked her his, and loved her till their bodies gave up. Thus, their birthday celebrations have started with the celebration of their love.
