《ILLUSION |Shubman Gill Fanfiction|》Chapter 13.

Shubman had a tough time in the last match and he was really upset about it.
He's been practicing way too hard for the next game which was against SRH.
I was done with my work and was heading back to the hotel after my session with the SRH boys.
The minute I entered the hotel, I noticed Shubman and Kamlesh in the lobby. The boys were laughing about something.
It felt nice to see Shubman laugh.
I couldn't help but chuckle because of the way the two boys were behaving.
Kids, I tell you.
Shubman's eyes fell on me and he quickly called me to where they were standing.
"What're you guys laughing about?" I asked him.
"DK." Shubman stated, still laughing.
"What?" I asked, totally confused.
The boys laughed harder and I had to control myself from rolling my eyes at their behaviour.
"Nevermind." I said, shaking my head.
"Anyway, I'm going to get some coffee, you guys want to join?" I asked them.
"I'm heading back to my room." Kamlesh stated.
"I'll join you." Said Shubman.
"Well, okay. I'll see you later." I told Kamlesh, before hugging him.
"All the best for your date, babydoll." Kamlesh whispered in my ear while hugging me.
I pulled away and looked at him, trying my hard not to smile, but failing miserably.
"Bye." He winked at me, before waving at Shubman.
*
"So...."
"So?" I asked Shubman, before sipping my coffee.
"You and Kamlesh?"
"Me and Kamlesh what?"
I was so confused as to what he was trying to say.
"You know...." He shrugged his shoulders.
"You know what?" I asked, chuckling.
"Are you guys dating?" He came to the point.
Instead of answering him to the point, I played around, just like him.

"Who told you?"
"No one. I just thought-"
"And, how did this thought come into your mind?" I asked him.
"Well, you guys are pretty close."
"So?" I chuckled.
"I don't know, I just thought so." He said, smiling at me.
I smiled back at him while shaking my head.
"So, are you?" He questioned again, as I sipped my coffee.
"I am, what?"
He facepalmed himself, before asking, "Are you guys dating?"
"No, Shubman. Kamlesh and I are not dating." I cleared it out.
He nodded his head, before sipping his own coffee.
"You must be relieved na?" I joked.
"Relieved about what?"
"I'm not dating him. This means you still have a chance, babe." I winked, before shaking my head and laughing.
"I can't believe I said that." I added.
"I can't believe you said that." He exaggerated, before chuckling himself.
"But you know, I can think about it." Shubman winked, playing along.
"You definitely should. I mean, not everyone is lucky to have a beautiful girlfriend like me, and if you have the chance then you shouldn't miss it."
"I will definitely take that into consideration."
"You should." I shrugged, sipping my coffee.
We joked around for a couple of minutes more, before walking towards our respective rooms.
"Where's your room?" I asked, when I noticed him walking with me.
"You'll see."
We reached my suite in a couple of seconds, and that's when I turned to look at him.
"You're watching the match with us tonight, right?" He questioned.
"Yup." I nodded slowly, while looking at his facial features.
He was talking about something, but I couldn't pay attention to what he was saying.
The boy is really good looking.

"Did you listen to what I just said?"
"Huh? Sorry, I was busy staring at your fa-" I absent-mindedly stated, before slapping my hand on my mouth.
Shubman chuckled, before saying, "Stare at it as long as you want."
He winked at me, and I swear to god I turned into a tomato.
"I.. uhm.. I-I will head in now." I said, struggling to open the door, while Shubman laughed.
"Meher." He called me out.
"Yeah?" I turned around to face him.
"You know, I was kind of serious when I said I'll take it into consideration." He stated.
"What?"
What is the boy talking about?
He smirked at me, and that's when it hit me.
And yet again, I turned into a deep shade of red.
"Why isn't this door opening!" I mumbled, struggling to open the door.
"Meher, just in case, if there's any emergency...." He started saying, while walking towards a room.
"This is my room." He smirked, standing outside his room.
It was just two rooms away from mine.
"I'm so sorry, I was in the bathroom and I had locked this door from inside." Sidiksha said, suddenly opening the door.
I looked at her before turning my attention and looking at Shubman again.
"I'll see you in a couple of minutes. Bye." He winked at me, before entering his room.
"Meher, are you blushing?" Asked Sidiksha.
