"One more!" Sidharth said, and I quickly gulped down my last shot.
I sucked on the lemon and turned to look at Dev, who was still gulping down his shots.
"Seems like I won again." I chuckled.
"How do you do that?" Dev asked.
"Well, practice makes a man perfect." I winked at him.
"Yeah, right." He rolled his eyes, chuckling.
I checked the time. It was 10:56 p.m. Still an hour to go. I'll turn 19 in an hour! Wow. I'm growing old so quickly.
My thoughts were interrupted by Dhriti, who pulled me to the dance floor.
Harry Styles' Kiwi started playing and I lost control.
Thankfully, today was Tuesday, and there was no crowd in Skyye. Strike crowd, it was just us here.
Dhriti and I danced to a couple of songs more, before walking to our seats.
"I'm sweating like a pig." She complained.
"So am I." I said, chuckling.
Riya walked to us with a plate of food in her hand.
"Don't look at my food guys, I'm not sharing." She said, sitting beside me.
"Hey, what's that?" I asked her, pointing to a direction. When she turned her head to that direction, I stole two chicken lollipops from her plate, passing one to Dhriti.
"Whe- what a bitch you are Zaisha Kapoor!" She shouted when she noticed the chicken lollipops in our hands, but nonetheless laughed.
I couldn't help but laugh at her.
"Where's the birthday girl at?" Akshat shouted, walking towards me.
"There's still an hour to go." I laughed at him, while standing up.
"Whatever." He said, rolling his eyes.
"Here you go." He handed me a box covered with gift wrap.
"I'd say you didn't have to, but I'd be lying, so thanks." I said, laughing.

He ruffled my hair and hugged me.
I love his hugs!
Akshat is this huge boy who's like a teddy. Legit. I only come to the end of his rib cage, and my arms are far from touching each other whenever I hug him.
"Aishi!"
I turned around to look at Sidharth.
"Come here! Quick." He said.
I walked to where he was and saw him setting shots down.
Two sets of eight shots each.
"What is it?" I asked him.
"Pure chili pepper vodka." He smirked.
"Damn." I said, shaking my head.
"Who's up against Aishi?" Sidharth called out.
"When did I say okay?" I asked him.
"Shut up, you can't say no. It's your last teenage birthday." He said, rolling his eyes.
"Well, okay."
"What is it though?" Dhrithi asked.
"Pure chili pepper vodka." Sidharth said, kissing his fingers.
"Aishi being a daredevil." Riya said, laughing.
"Shut up." I smiled.
"So, who's against her?"
"Why don't you do it?" Neha asked Sidharth.
"Because I don't want to." He answered.
"Coward." I said loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Oh, you wish. Get it started then." Sidharth said, challenging me, which led me to chuckle.
All of them crowded to where we were standing.
"Ready?" Aarav asked us.
"Yes." Sidharth and I said in unison.
"Wait. Wait. Please ask the DJ to play 'Baaki Baatein Peene Baad', and then you can start when the chorus comes on." Meeraj suggested.
I couldn't help but laugh. So creative. Shit.
"Why're you my girlfriend again?" Dev joked.
"Shut up." She said, smacking his head.
Aarav walked to the DJ, asking him to change the music.
Baaki Baatein Peene Baad started playing and Aarav made his way back to his spot.

"Ready? The chorus is about to come." Aarav stated.
We nodded.
"BAAKI BAATEIN PEENE BAAD!" The rest of them shouted, indicating us to gulp down our shots.
I gulped down five shots and looked at Sidharth who was bringing up his sixth shot to his mouth.
Quickly turning away, I gulped down the rest of my shots. By the end of my last shot, I could feel a burning sensation in my throat and stomach.
I turned to look at Siddharth again, who had one more shot left.
"I cannot." He said, shaking his head.
Grabbing his shot, I put it down my throat, increasing the burning sensation.
"Lemon?" Aarav asked, handing me one.
"I don't need it." I chuckled.
"This one's got a really good capacity. I would've been wasted by now if I drank like Aishi." Dhrithi commented.
I laughed, thinking how true it was.
"Aishi. On the table. Now." Aarav smirked.
"I will get kicked out." I laughed.
"Has that ever stopped you from doing things?" Riya asked me.
"Nope."
"Exactly." She laughed.
"Well, here goes nothing." I said before climbing on top of the table.
