"Sit, sit." Osaumu beckoned as he gestured to the empty sofa.

I glanced at him and then back to the couch, unsure. "Ye- yessir..." I scurried over to the nice, soft looking sofa and took a delicate seat.

With a gentle smile, Osamu set out a TV tray next to me and sat down on the couch in that spot.

It was.. unpleasantly silent.

"So..." Osamu finally sighed.

I slightly jumped, but looked over at him.

"Do you know how to sew?" he asked as he unraveled his spool.

I shook my head. "No, sir."

"Do you know how to cook?"

"..No, sir."

Osamu shook his head with a chuckle as he repeatedly poked the string through the eye of the needle. "Nearing 300 years old, and you still don't know how to cook or sew?? How spoiled you must be."

I swallowed and looked down, not saying anything. "..."

He's right, though. I never got with the times.. I always just payed someone else to do it for me...

He snickered. "Why so quiet? I don't mean anything by it."

I glanced up at him. "Oh, I'm sorry..."

He chuckled and reached his long, slender finger out to me, lifting my chin up to look at him. "You're cute."

At the sudden and unexpected compliment, I blushed and cracked the faintest smile. "Thank you..."

Osamu smirked and let me go, going back to sewing.

Feeling a little better, I lifted my posture and watched him as he mended my shirt.

He smiled as he felt my eyes on him. "Would you like to learn? It's really simple."

I darted my eyes up to his.

Is it a choice...?

..I hesitantly nodded.

"Mkay." he said and shifted the shirt over to my lap. "What you do is poke the needle through the cloth, pull, and then keep going along the seam until you either finish the seam or run out of thread. Do you think you can manage that?"

I nodded. "Yessir."

With a smile, Osamu handed over the needle.

Still unsurely, I took the needle and held it up to a place where I thought a good place to poke it through was, and then immediately looked to Osamu to make sure I was doing it right at all.

"Mhm~. Now push it through." he hummed to me.

I smiled and breathed a sigh of relief, turning back to the broken sleeve. I pressed the needle through the 2 layers of fabric, and then gently pulled the thread taught. I whirled my face over to Osamu with a wide smile.

He smiled back. "Very good, Vigil!! I'm proud of you!"

With a great confidence, I went back to do a few more.
