When Daniel brought me back up to his room Kendra and Darius were gone so Daniel got one of his sweaters out of his wardrobe before tossing it at me.

After putting it on I push the sleeves up every so slightly so that my hands stick out of the holes. Daniel is almost two times bigger than me so all his clothes are baggy on me but tight on him. 

"I'm guessing you're hungry," Daniel asks changing his white shirt into a light green shirt, "There's food in the kitchen."

He has abs but they're nothing compared to Darius's.

"Blood?" I ask jokingly.

Daniel shakes his head as he makes his way towards the stairs, "You know we don't only drink blood. We eat regular food too, just not as much as you would."

I follow him through the room and down all those flights of stairs, and to the kitchen where two new faces are sitting. There's a man sitting at the amazing breakfast bar drinking vodka right out of the bottle and a teenaged girl sitting on the cabinet kicking her legs back and forth humming.

The man looks to be in his late thirties and he has short shaggy dark brown hair, soft light brown eyes, and a sharp jawline. He's extremely fit and his muscles are definitely bigger than my thighs.

The girl, on the other hand, is beautiful. She has curly long blonde hair like Karen, long girly eyelashes, full lips, and light grey eyes. I'm pretty sure I've seen her around school talking to Daniel. 

"What do you want to eat?" Daniel asks opening the fridge up while I sat down at the breakfast bar.

"Suprise me..." I say trying to avoid eye contact with the girl who's staring at me will anger in her eyes,

Daniel watches for me curiously for a moment before shoving his head back in the fridge to grab ingredients, "Eggs and bacon it is."

"Like you know how to make bacon Daniel." The blonde haired girl says jumping off the counter before leaning on the counter right in front of me, obstructing my view of him.

I roll my eyes at her before turning to the guy I'm sitting next to, "I'm Riley."

"Chase." The man says before putting the bottle to his lips, downing the entire bottle in seconds without any reaction, "You know you're like the one girl in a house full of horny boys except you're a human and we're all vampires."

"Great speech Chase," Daniel says roughly, "But if you touch her or even think about her blood again I'll take this hot pan full of grease and I'll pour it down your throat."

"Yeah yeah yeah, but you're forgetting that I can heal." Chase says chucking the empty vodka bottle at Daniel but it hits the girl instead.

The girl turns around before trying to claw Chase's eyeballs out for ripping the expensive shirt she got in the 70's or something like that.

Chase barely even struggles as the girl jumps over the breakfast bar, he basically throws her aside with ease.

I jump away from the bar to avoid being in the mix of chaos but I have to dodge a chair coming at my head, heading towards the girl.

Before the chair can hit me Daniel runs in front of me and catches it last second, "Both of you stop! Lacey go find Darius or something and Chase grow up! You're over a hundred and fifty years old! Start acting like it."

That means technically Daniel is older but at the same time younger than him. 

Lacey sticks her tongue out at Chase who in return chucks a nearby cup at the wall closest to her head before she exits the kitchen and making her way to the front of the house. 

Chase flips Daniel off before turning around and making his way to the glass door at the back of the kitchen.

Daniel goes to say something but the fire alarm begins going off and the entire backside of the wall behind the stove goes up into flames. Daniel speed runs to the fire hydrant before putting the fire out.

Daniel turns to me with an unsure facial expression, "I would like to say you arrived a bad time but the house is always hectic like this..."
