As Nomura ran out of the tent Jim and Claire follow and it didn't take them too long to realise that the explosion originated from Merlins tent.

They stopped dead in their tracks when they saw it. A smog of violet and black being expelled from his tent and following that, came sparks of indigo bursting out of it.

'What the heck is that?!' Nomura yelled. Suddenly out of the ominous cloud a green light was being emitted. The green light became brighter and brighter and soon it was clear that the emerald light was none other than Merlin using his staff to contain the explosion.

Slowly the mystical cloud began to fade and Merlin was left panting on the ground. A crowd began to form around him. 'Back it up! Give the man some space would ya?' said Notenrique.

'what was that?' Asked Jim helping him up. However he was still too out of breath to talk.

*pants*'Just.... a moment'*pants* soon after he had composed himself he answered.

*cough cough* 'R-right I suppose your all wondering what all of that was.....' The group starred at him with concern.

'Well the reason behind the explosion was that I was conjuring a special concoction to help us travel faster. His gaze shifted down... however it may take little more time to brew then I expected.'

Soon they all cleared out the burning tent and began moving again. At the back of the trail was Jim and Merlin. Merlin began to speak 'Do you know why I pulled you all the way at the back?' He asked. Jim shook his head and just as he opened his mouth to speak Merlin cut him off

'It was to tell you the real reason behind the explosion.'
