"How was New York" Sapnap asks once I enter the kitchen

Clay and I arrived back in Florida pretty late yesterday, so I ended up passing out on his bed before I could return home

"Fine" I simply say

I pull out a bowl and make some cereal for myself. I swear to god the only thing they have in this house is cereal.

"Fine as in sex fine, or fun fine" Nick says

"I don't know Nick, take a guess" I roll my eyes

He can't possibly know, I mean I didn't say anything and there's no way Clay told him

"Well considering you slept in the same bed as him im rooting for the first one"

"You took what was originally MY bed, where else was I supposed to sleep then" I lie

"Originally YOUR bed?" he asks "Clay bought this big ass house for us... Plus" and points at the couch

"There's no way, I'm not sleeping on the couch" I cross my arms "Why don't you sleep there and give me your bed then"

"In all honesty I would, considering the large cum stain I HAVE TO WAKE UP TO EVERYDAY" Nick shouts and I turn red

"Just don't look at it" I shrug

"What do you mean 'don't look at it'" he says "It's right by my fucking bed"

"Well put the bed over it or something" I sit down in a stool and begin eating my cereal "Plus how do you know it's his huh?"

"It was here before I came" he says

"Before you what now?" I laugh

"No no wait"

"Before Nick what" Clay says

"He came on your rug" I say

"I DID NOT" Nick shouts once more

"Oh I thought that was-" Clay begins but quickly catches himself "Yeah it was you Sap"

"Whatever, I'm not letting you two off the hook" he squints his eyes at us

"What did we do" Clay plays dumb

"You two mean to tell me you went to New York on your own, slept in the same hotel room, and nothing happened? At all? I'm not buying it" he crosses his arms.

Is this man looking for some kind of confession?

"Well... We are friends, friends don't have sex" I lie my ass off

"And you guys mean to tell me you remained friends, encountered her ex" he points at me "Met her entire family, spent two flights together and didn't rip your heads off?"

Now that he says it like that... it seems kind of suspicious

Wait how does he know about-

"How does he know about Adrien" I question Clay

"Ohhh" Clay nervously chuckles "Well to be fair... Nick has a very valid excuse for that, right Sapnap?"

I turn to look at the brown-haired boy standing on the other end of the kitchen

"Clay told me" he quickly says, selling his friend out

"SAPNAP" Clay shouts

"WHAT" Nick screams back "She already figured it out"

"But you weren't supposed to confirm it" Clay's hands fly to his face

"Well why don't we get Charlotte here to explain why his ex is a blue-eyed version of Mr. Dream" Sapnap accuses me

"Yeah, enlighten us"

I cross my arms in front of my chest, looking between the two morons standing in front of me. They really think they did something huh

"How do you" I point at Nick "Know what he looks like"

Complete silence falls between all of us

"Well she did get us there" Nick laughs

"Stop confirming things Nick" Clay grunts

"BUT I DIDNT NEED TO CONFIRM IT IF SHE ALREADY KNEW"

"Come here you little bitch" Clay shouts and launches himself at Nick, to which he lets out one of his iconic shrieks

"You two are so stupid" I roll my eyes

As Clay was about to grab Nick he stops on his tracks, turning to where I'm standing

Oh Crap

"Hey Nick, I say we get her instead"

"Yeah Clay, good idea"

"No no no no guys wait, there's no need to do this" I take a few steps back, tumbling against the kitchen counter

"Guys..."

Both of them get closer and closer to me

I let out a scream that's quite similar to Nick's and run the other way

I quicky run through the house and stumble inside a room

"Nick, do we ne-" A certain british boy says

Wait... British boy?

"George?" I say

"Charlotte?" he asks "What are you doing here?"

"What am I doing here? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Europe, what the fuck" I say, still in shock

"Does..." I point behind me "Does Clay know?"

George shakes his head. Guess it must be a surprise

"Wait" I say "They were both running after me, fuck" I say and quickly shut the door

Nick and Clay's footsteps begin to grow louder and louder, and suddenly there's a loud knock on the door

"Open up Charliee" Clay shouts

"We won't do anything to you" Nick adds

"I'm naked, don't" I say in panic

"Well, I've seen you naked" Clay sarcastically says

"Clay!" I shout from behind the door

"Come on Charlotte, if I see something I haven't seen before, I'll throw a dollar at it"

I roll my eyes and turn back, George simply shakes his head in defeat and signals for me to open the door

I slowly open up and Clay's face lightens up

"See, It wasn't that..." his gaze moves towards the British boy standing behind me "... hard"

"Do you have a dollar to throw at George?" I say almost laughing

"Why were you naked with George" he asks

The two other boys and me all burst out laughing

"Nah Dream, you're actually stupid" Nick says from behind him

"Add this to the 'Dream lowest IQ moments'" George says

"Dude your best friend is in front of you" I point out the obvious

I think realization hit Clay waaaaay later, his expression changed into one of shock "Holy shit, George"

"Dream" George shouts

The two best friends almost jump at each other, getting into a tight hug

"Oh my god, dnf is actually confirmed?" Sapnap fake gasps from behind me

"I'm livestreaming this"

"You guys are idiots" Clay chuckles, breaking away from the hug

"Wait, why is Charlotte here this early" George asks once more

"I, for once" Sapnap steps in front of me "Asked her the exact same question" he points at me

"Jesus Nick, we got here late yesterday" I roll my eyes "I'm leaving anyways" I turn around, but Clay grabs me by the hand, stopping me

"Ba-" he begins but quickly catches himself "Char, you can stay"

The room falls silent, god he's so dumb, the boys can clearly tell something up now

"I need to see Angel" I shrug "But I can come back later, for a sleepover, maybe?"

"I don't think..." Clay begins but George interrupts him

"We'd love that"

"Ask Angel if she's coming too" Sapnap says and I nod

"Let me walk you out" Clay tells me and I nod in response

The walk up to the door was kind of awkward. None of us really knew what to say

"I'm glad George is here" I finally say when we reach the front door

"Yeah me too" he says scratching the back of his head

"Look Clay, I know that maybe you don't want me here, I saw how suspicious Nick was of us" I say "But I swear I can control myself" I grab his hands

"I know you can babe" he squeezes my hands "And I want you here... I'm just a little off"

"Ok... just please, control the 'babes' around the guys" I lightly laugh "I'm not ready for them to know about us just yet"

He doesn't answer, but instead nervously laughs, why is he being so weird today

"Ok..." I reluctantly say "I'll see you in a couple of hours" I add, getting on my tiptoes and placing a gentle kiss on his lips

"Nick, are you stupid?" I say getting pretty worked up

"What are you-" he begins but I cut him off

"Don't play stupid" I grit my teeth "Why are you playing detective, huh?"

I notice George kept looking between Nick and I, trying to figure out what was going on

"What's going on guys?" George finally asks

"Our buddy Clay here" he says grabbing onto my shoulder "Is back on with Charlotte"

"No way" George gaped at me "Actually?"

"Yeah" I violently nod "Actually"

"Sick dude"

"But you two" I motion between them "Are not supposed to fucking know"

"Oh?"

"She doesn't want anyone to know" Nick explained "Something about being embarrassed of him"

"She did not say that" I say scratching my forehead "She didn't want people to know in case it didn't work out again"

"And are you guys fighting?"

"No... But we will if she finds out I told you guys" I say

"We won't say anything then" George smiles, but I turn to look at Nick instead

"Don't even think about mentioning it to Angel" I point at him "She already despises me"

"Wasn't going to man" he chuckles "We haven't been doing too much talking lately anyways..."

"Gross Sapnap" the British boy standing next to me says and we all burst out laughing

Once we recollect ourselves, the most important question comes up

"Wait, George why are you here" I ask

"Nick and I planned it" he answers "We were supposed to spend Christmas and New Year's eve together"

"Why are you inviting people over like you pay rent?" I turn to look at Nick

"Hey! It's George" he shouts "Plus, you were in

"I was in fucking New York" I curse "Why didn't you tell me about him coming over, Nick?"

"You were very excited about finally spending time with Charlotte again that we... Well, we didn't want to burst your little bubble" he answers

"But maybe I could've come back earlier or- or-" I begin

"It's fine" George interrupts me with a smile and then walks up to me, putting a hand on my shoulder "This won't be out first holidays together"

"Shit man, you're gonna make me tear up" I joke

"Alright, enough with the formalities" Sapnap claps his hands "Let's do something fun"

And so, I'm now sitting on a chair five feet away from my friends as they both talk to a camera

"Hi chat! Hi!" George says while frantically waving his hands

"Yes! George is finally here"

"We were going to go to-" I begin but quickly stop when I see Sapnap glaring at me

"Wait" I begin "I sensed I made a mistake of some kind"

"Yes, shut your bitch ass up" he says

"Don't cuss at me" I laugh

"If you have a problem with that then come here and face me like a man" Nick smirks

"Yeah Dream, step out here for us please" George teases me

"I hate both of you" I say laughing

"So guys" Nick claps his hands "We planned a karaoke stream, so that Dream over here" he signals towards where I am "Can participate"

My phone suddenly pings

"Earth to Dream" Nick says frantically waving his arms "Who are you even messaging?" he asks but quickly realizes

We all fall silent for a second, and I can see chat go crazy on one of Nick's monitors.

Great

"Let's pick the song" George says trying to divert the subject

"Change my clothes" Nick grins and I look up

Fast forward a few minutes and my song is blasting through the speakers. While Sapnap is screaming the lyrics, George is more reserved and less enthusiastic.

"I really wanna change the world, but can't change my clothes" Sapnap shouts

"Wanna find a girl but can't find my phone" George follows Nick. However Sap has other plans and yells

"Well Dream, you have your phone in your hand and have a girl in there too" he laughs "What's with the lyrics lying then, huh"

Aaaand chat goes wild again. I seriously need to have a talk with him about this.

I get up and go through some boxes at the back of Nick's set up. From there I pull a smiley face mask we jokingly made some time ago for a video Sapnap was too lazy to edit.

I put on the mask and walk into the frame

"Say it again now" I hover over Sapnap and I notice him turn red "That's what I thought"

Meanwhile, George keeps on going at the back

"I should change myself, I should make my bed, I should dust the shelf" he enthusiastically signs

"God this is being so chaotic" I sigh, then I turn to look at chat once more and everyone is freaking out about me being on camera. I audibly laugh when I read some of what they say

"Guys, what" I chuckle "Why wouldn't I be real, look I'm here" I add whilst waving my arms at the webcam

I think this is the happiest I've ever been.

I'm finally with my best friends, George is fucking here and Charlotte is giving me an actual shot, there could be an 'us' in the near future.

I can't help but smile, things are finally on track.
