《Location; Aizawa x Reader》Chapter 43

You had walked all the way to Koa's apartment. You didn't know if you were angrier or sadder. How could he accuse you of cheating?! Let alone with someone who actually helped you! You knocked on the door and sniffled a little.
"Koa...Koa, it's me...please open the door," you say, trying not to sob again. You put your head against the door. "I...I need you..." you say softly. You knock again, and there is no answer. You take a shaky breath and head to Mikko's house.
"Hello, Mind Mistress," a deep voice behind you coos.
You turn and see three men behind you. You adjust your backpack and stare at them. You didn't have your costume on...so how the fuck do they know who you are?
"If you come quietly, we won't have any problems," one man says.
You scoff and turn to keep walking, not in any mood to deal with them. He grabs your arm, and you turn around, snapping it, breaking the bone in half. You glare at the other men. "You wanna come to me or want me to come to you?" You growl.
One man moves, and you place your palm to his chest. You scan his brain and force every horrible moment to play on repeat, sending the pain through his body. He drops to the floor, screaming and aching in pain. The other man runs up and kicks you in the chest. You stumble back, and he tries to punch you. You grab his arm and twist it behind his back, dislocating his shoulder. You slam him onto the ground and growl.
"Move, and I'll make what he felt look like child's play," you snap. You look up and see three cops run up to you. "Oh good...these assholes tried to kidnap me," you say, letting him go.
"Get down on the ground!" One cop shouts.
"What?" You scoff.
"Get on the ground now!" He says.
You grumble and drop to your knees, putting your hands on your head. One cop runs and puts you in cuffs. "Look...I know it looks like I just beat the shit out of all of them-"
"Save it. Take the other three into custody!" The cop shouts. He lifts you and puts you in the back of the car.
You get to the station, and they question you. You explain what happened, pretty much spilling your guts to the cops. They didn't ask, but you screamed and cried about your breakup, your stress levels, your final exams, and the fact that you were almost kidnapped. The two officers stared at you, a look of sympathy painted on their faces.
"Look...we, unfortunately, have to detain you until we can confirm you are Mind Mistress since you did use your quirk to defend yourself. Then it will be up to the commission if we can release you," One officer says.
You scoff. "I'm going to die in prison if it's up to them," you sigh.
"We will get right on confirming your identity. If you really are Mind Mistress, umm...well, I'm a huge fan," one cop says, blushing a little.
"Thanks..." you smile a little.
The one officer leaves to investigate, leaving you alone with the other officer. "We aren't supposed to...but, you can use my cell...if you have someone you can call to help speed up the process, we can get you out of here sooner," he says, digging into his pocket for his cell. He sets it on the table and uncuffs you.

"You are rather trusting," you smile a little.
He shrugs. "If you aren't Mind Mistress, you are still a person having a rough time. I do what I can to help...and if you are, well, then I earn some brownie points with my favorite vigilante," he smiles. You smile and grab his phone.
"I'm officer Naomasa Tsukauchi. You can call me Masa," he smiles.
"Thank you, Masa," you smile sweetly. He has such sweet and soft eyes. He hands you a tissue and smiles. His cheeks flush, and he clears his throat.
"I'll give you some privacy," he says softly. He walks out, and you stare at his phone. You only have three phone numbers memorized. You sure as fuck weren't going to call Aizawa, and Koa was who knows where. You sighed and dialed his number.
"Hey...so...don't freak out...."
You sit in the jail cell, your arms folded across your chest as you stare at the ceiling. "Y/N!" Hawks says. You get up and walk to the bars. He sticks his hand through and cups your face softly. "Are you ok?! How long have you been here!?" He says, panicked.
"I'm ok, Hawks...." You say softly.
"Please tell me you didn't kill Eraser," he whispers. You punch his chest, and he chuckles. "Oh good...prison didn't make you lose your sense of humor," he smirks. He turns around to an officer and smiles.
"Hi! Yeah, I'm here for the scary-ass girl who needed her own cell!" He says cheerfully.
"Really?" You growl.
"Yeah...they said you broke a guy's arm...how pissed are you?" He sighs.
"Pretty fucking pissed," you grumble. The officer walks over and lets you out. Hawks fills out some paperwork and hands it to the front desk. Masa walks out and hands you your backpack.
"I apologize for any trouble," he says, handing it to you.
"No, it's ok. The situation looked odd...I understand," you sigh a little and take the bag. He takes out his business card and hands it to you.
"If you ever need something...anything at all, please give me a call," he smiles. You take it and nod.
"Thank you, Masa," you say softly.
He nods. "No problem, Y/N," he says sweetly. You turn around, and Keigo glares at him.
You walk outside with Keigo and take a deep breath. "So...I take it you need a place to stay?" He asks.
"I'll probably get a hotel," you sigh.
He laughs. "You aren't staying at some hotel...you'll stay with me," he smiles. "Come on, kid," he walks, wraps an arm around you, and you walk to his apartment.
You get inside and look around the lavish penthouse. "Jesus, Kei," you mumble.
"What? I like to be comfy! Make yourself at home," he smiles. You walk to the couch and sit down. He sits next to you and looks at you. "What do you need from me?" He asks softly. You look over at him, confused.
"Shower? Clothes? Food? Shoulder to cry on?" He asks softly.
"First three, yes, but I need to study..." you say softly. He stands up and kisses your head.
"On it," he nods and walks to the balcony.
"Umm...the door is that way?" You say, raising an eyebrow.

"For you it is," he chuckles.
He walks outside and takes off. You roll your eyes and take out your books and laptop, trying to focus on your notes. You pushed every sad thought out of your head, focusing only on your school. You weren't going to let years of hard work go down the drain because of some guy. Some guy you loved. Some guy you trusted. Some guy you had two kids with. Some guy who made you feel things you've never felt before. Some guy who made you realize that you were so much stronger than you gave yourself credit for. Some guy who would support you when you mentioned taking on extra classes. Some guy who you saw a future with... You shake your head and take a deep breath. Study first...then sob.
Keigo came back an hour later with food, toiletries, and some comfy lounge clothes. He insisted you shower, eat, and breathe for a second. You slurped down your ramen as he explained why Stain's followers wanted you and Koa. Of course, they wanted you both for your quirks and because of your rocky relationship with the commission.
"Speaking of...how did the commission let me go?" You ask softly.
"I told them I'd quit if you weren't released immediately," he shrugs. Your eyes widen. "Don't. It's the least I could do...you saved my ass tons of times, and I'd be dead from that night if it weren't for you," he smiles a little.
"What night?" You ask, puzzled.
"....That night....those guys got to drop on you...and I pulled you out of the way....and then that guy stabbed my shoulder. You snuck me to your friend's bar, and he healed me up...I would have bled out, but you saved me..." he says softly.
Your eyes widened. "Oh, that night," you say softly.
He looks down and clears his throat. You look up, and he stands up. "I've got night training with Tokoyami tonight...I won't be home till late, probably around eleven. If you need me, just give me a call, ok?" He says softly, and you nod.
He grabs his jacket and slips it on. He walks out to the balcony and takes off. You set your bowl down and take a deep breath. You go back to studying, trying to finish your outline for your paper. Hawks walks in at around eleven o'clock and sees you, clutching a book, passed out. He sighs and quietly walks over to you. He takes the book and sets it on the table. He picks you up carefully and walks you to the guest bedroom. He sets you down gently, tucks you in, and walks out of the room.
He lays in bed staring at the ceiling, trying to clear his brain. He wished he could do more. He knew you were hurting, and there wasn't really anything he could do for you except be a good friend. His phone chimes, and he grabs it.
The next morning you woke up and looked around. You were lying in soft sheets and fluffy pillows. You walked out and saw Hawks sitting at the kitchen table, dressed in a T-shirt and grey sweatpants with black glasses on his face as he reads the paper.
"I thought birds were supposed to have good eyesight..." you chuckle, walking over.
"Ya know, just because I have wings doesn't make me a bird," he smirks. You grab a cup of coffee and sit down. The doorbell rings, and he sets the paper down. He gets up and answers it.
"Hey," he smiles a little. Koa and Mikko walk in, and your eyes light up.
"Mikko! Koa!" You get up and run to them, hugging them tightly. You look at Hawks, and he shrugs.
"I figured you needed a few familiar faces... I thought you might get sick of my dazzling smile," he smirks.
"Thanks," you smile.
After breakfast, you packed up your things and went to Mikko's house to stay until you could find something more permeate. Keigo had offered to let you stay with him, but knowing his work hours, you didn't want to be a bother. You got to Mikko's house and told her and Koa what happened.
"You better not hurt him, Koa," you snap.
"What!? Why the fuck not?! He deserves the ass-kicking I'm gonna give him," he growls.
"Hey! You hush. Y/N, why don't you study. We will go pick up some of your stuff," Mikko smiles. You nod and smile a little.
"Thanks, Mikko," you get up and walk to the spare bedroom, quickly distracting yourself with your work, pushing down your feelings for now.
"Why the fuck can't I kick his ass?" Koa growls.
"Because she still loves him stupid. He may be an ass...but she is still in love with him, and I don't think that is going to change," Mikko says softly.
Aizawa sat in his apartment, staring at the ceiling. He felt sick. He had done the one thing he promised he wouldn't do. He shut you out and pushed you away. He had been doing so good, doing his best to communicate his feelings with you. You two had gotten so comfortable talking about anything in your relationship that could have been an issue. You respected each other's boundaries and gave each other space when needed. You had helped him grow so much, and then, he shut down again.
He hated himself. Not only did he even entertain the idea of the love of his life cheating on him, but he accused someone who stepped in his place when he wasn't there. He was a shit friend, boyfriend, and father. He had gotten so wrapped up with his anger that he neglected his family. There was a harsh knock on his door. He bolted up and opened it. Mikko stood in front of Koa, a small barrier between the two massive men.
"Hi...umm..sorry, we are here for some of her things," she says softly, toying with the end of her braid. Aizawa's heart sinks to his stomach. He steps to the side and looks down. Mikko walks in and looks around.
"Bedroom is down the hall..." he whispers. Mikko nods and walks to the bedroom.
"Just so you know...I wanted to beat you into the ground, but my sister insisted you remain untouched," Koa snarls. He shoves past Aizawa and follows Mikko into the bedroom. They pack a few of your things, taking necessities.
"I'll ask what she wants to do about everything else," Mikko says softly.
Aizawa nods a little. They walk out, and he closes the door. He walks to the couch, sits down, and sobs into his hands.
The next day he walked into the class 1-A dorms. All of the kids were sitting in the common room talking. They fell silent when they saw him. They stare at him, and he sighs. "Daddy? Where is mommy? Why isn't she here?" Eri asks.
His stomach swirls with guilt. "She needs to focus on school for a little...ok?" He smiles a little, and she looks down.
"Class is starting soon. You should all make your way down," he says softly.
Mirio stands up and takes Eri's hand, walking her out. One by one, the students walk out, past Aizawa. He knows most of them are devastated you are gone, and the other half is pissed at him for driving you away. Hitoshi walks past him, and he stops him.
"I need to speak to you," he whispers. Hitoshi nods and walks into Aizawa's office to wait for him. Shoto grabs his bag and heads out; his eyes are cold and unforgiving.
"Shoto..." Aizawa says softly.
"Don't...I thought you were nothing like my father... I guess I was wrong. You both disappoint me," Shoto snaps. "You better apologize to Hitoshi," he growls. He walks out, slamming the door behind him.
Aizawa sighs and walks into the office. He closes the door and sees Hitoshi sitting there, his arms crossed and a scowl on his face. "Hitoshi,"
"Whatever bullshit apology you rehearsed in the mirror this morning you are about to tell me, you can shove it. I don't know exactly what happened...but I don't really care. She was there for me. She was there for all of us. Why didn't you come home? I started hero courses, and you weren't there my first day! But she was. Eri had her first dance recital, and you weren't there, but she was. Jesus, dad, Hawks was even at the fucking recital! He couldn't even stay the whole fucking time, but he made sure Eri saw him waving in the back as she danced!! He at least put the fucking effort in!! Why did you leave us!? I needed you! Eri needed you! Mom needed you!!" Hitoshi screams.
He stands up, tears falling down his face, and his fists clench. "You once told me that we were the most important things in your life...that you loved mom more than the air you breathed...why didn't you come home!?" Hitoshi shouts.
He turns, opens Aizawa's desk drawer, and pulls out a small black box, slamming it on the table. "You better get your shit together and get my fucking mom back...I've already lost one, and I'm not losing this one! Fix this! Save your relationship! SAVE HER!" Hitoshi screams.
He shoves past Aizawa and walks out, slamming the door. Aizawa stands there in shock and stares at the box. He grabs it and opens it, seeing the beautiful diamond ring he had picked out for you. He shuts it and closes his eyes. He hears the bell and shakes his head. He walks out and heads to class, holding down the sob that so desperately wants to breakthrough.
After class, Aizawa sat in the teacher's common offices, working at his desk. "Good to see you back, Eraser," Nezu smiles.
Aizawa turns around and sees Nezu standing with a soft smile. "Sir, I'm so sorry...I didn't mean-"
"I don't think you need to apologize to me...I think you should apologize to a long list of people before me," Nezu says.
Aizawa sighs. "Yeah. I know."
"No, I don't think you do. You owe Hound Dog an apology because his workload has gone back to its normal amount. You owe Present Mic an apology because his English lectures were not up to par because he was filling in for you. You owe your students and your children apologies for neglecting them. And you owe Mind an apology for being a 'gaping asshole' as Mr. Kaminari so colorfully put it. I suggest you apologize in that precise order if you have any hopes of fixing the damage that has been done," Nezu smiles.
Aizawa stares at him and nods. "And, how do I apologize to you, sir?" He asks.
Nezu chuckles. "Oh, that's easy. Bring Mind back, fix your stupid mistakes and allow me to sit in your scarf without complaining for every meeting as long as you live," he smiles.
Aizawa nods. "Deal."
