《Location; Aizawa x Reader》Chapter 69

The next morning you had woken you early to get ready. You put on a simple black dress and walked out to the living room. Shota was standing by the door, dressed in a black suit with a white shirt. He took your hand and kissed it softly. You two walked out of the apartment, headed down to the car. You walked outside and saw Hitoshi, Shoto, and Eri standing there waiting for you both. You picked Eri up and held her tightly. You walked to the car waiting for you all. The driver opened the door, and you slide inside, holding Eri in your lap. Aizawa sat next to you, and Hitoshi and Shoto sat next to each other, Hitoshi holding Shoto's hand tightly.
You stared out the window, Eri sniffling in your lap as she rested her head against your shoulder. Aizawa held your hand tightly the entire drive. The car pulled up and parked. You took a deep breath, and the driver opened the door. You got out of the car, only focusing on your children. You didn't want to talk to anyone. You didn't want to hear their sympathetic words. Nothing would help. Nothing would bring Koa back to you.
You walked into the funeral home and sat down in the front row, Eri refusing to leave your arms. You didn't mind. She was comforting you just as much as you were comforting her. Aizawa sat next to you, Hitoshi and Shoto sitting next to him, still holding hands. Hitoshi rested his head on Shoto's shoulder, staring at the casket, dripping with all kinds of white flowers. You closed your eyes, trying to drown out the sounds of people coming into the massive hall. You felt something tickle your nose, and you opened your eyes. You smile, seeing Arlis tickling you with one of her feathers.
"Hey," she smiles.
"Hi..." you mumble.
She leans down and kisses your cheek before sitting next to you, holding your hand tightly. Keigo walks in and kisses your cheek before sitting next to Arlis. Every pro hero had walked in, their eyes filled with tears and their heads bowed. Everyone knew better than to come up to talk to you. Nemuri walked in, Hizashi and Rumi holding her hands as she sat in the front row on the other side. You nodded to her, and she nodded back. You look down and Eri and kiss her head, sighing a little. Endeavor walks over, and Arlis stares him down. He keeps walking, not saying a word to either of you. Nezu walks in and sits behind Arlis with a few other teachers from U.A. and all of class 1-A. A man in a black suit walks up to the front and clears his throat.

"Today, we honor the life of Koa. A hero, friend, uncle, and a brother...."
The funeral wraps up, a few of Koa's friends speaking on your behalf. Aizawa takes Eri from you, and Arlis hugs you tightly. "Glad to see your wings back," you whisper.
She smiles softly and cups your cheek. "I can't be part of our badass duo without them," she chuckles, and your smile.
"Thank you...I know coming back is hard..." you whisper.
"I won't leave until we find this fucker," she snaps. Keigo's eyes widen a little. You nod, and you turn to Aizawa. He takes your hand and walks out with you and the kids.
"You're going to leave again when this is done?" Keigo asks softly.
"I won't have much of a choice," Arlis mumbles.
"But..."
"But what?" She asks.
He chews the inside of his cheek. "Nothing..." he sighs a little.
Nezu walks over to Endeavor, climbing onto Snipe's shoulder. "What do you want, Nezu?" Endeavor snaps.
"I just wanted to advise you not to speak ill of my daughter again," Nezu smiles.
"Your daughter?" He asks.
"Griffin. She is adopted, but still mine...and I think it would be in her best interest not to speak ill of her," Nezu says, tilting his head a little.
"Oh? Why is that?" Endeavor growls.
"Because Hawks isn't the only one who will kick your ass," Snipe chuckles. Endeavor stares at him.
"Have a good day, Enji!" Nezu smiles. Snipe walks away, taking Mikko's hand and walking out.
You get back to campus and get out of the car. You walk into the apartment, holding Eri in your arms. Hitoshi and Shoto walk over to the student dorms and walk in. Everyone is still in their outfits from the funeral. They all run up and hug Hitoshi tightly.
"Whatever you need...we are here for you," Izuku says.
"I need this asshole who killed my uncle to die," Hitoshi growls.
"We are working on it," Denki says, his tone dark and cold. Hitoshi's eyes widen, and Bakugou sighs.
"We may as well show him," Bakugou shrugs.
They all walk into Denki's dorm room, and he flips on the light. There is a wall covered with papers and strings, a chaotic map of incomplete clues and answers. "Holy shit..." Hitoshi says.

"Yeah...he kinda went all criminal minds...." Sero says, sitting on Denki's bed.
They all sit down, and Denki and Izuku start to explain everything. "Ok, so, we know this guy's quirk and how it works...but we don't know who he is yet?" Shoto says.
"Yeah...but I have some clues. He has to have known Y/N, Griffin, Aizawa, Koa, Kai, and Eri. Maybe he is one of Kai's guys? Or experiment?" Denki says.
"The mask would make sense...." Ochako says.
"Holy shit...you're right," Izuku says, looking at the board.
"And that would make sense of how he was able to get Kai out of jail!" Denki says.
"Ok... so who do we tell...." Sero says. They all get quiet.
"We can't tell Endeavor... he won't listen and if the other hero's know...they will just tell him... who hates him more than anyone...." Denki says.
"Shoto," Mina says.
Hitoshi laughs a little, and Shoto shrugs. "You aren't wrong," Shoto mumbles.
"We could tell Y/N," Tsuyu says.
"No... she is dealing with a lot right now...." Denki says softly.
"I have someone we can tell...." Hitoshi says, taking his phone out of his pocket.
"Hey, Griffin? It's Toshi...do you think you could come to U.A. right now?"
Griffin walks into the student dorms and follows Shoto to Denki's room. "Holy hell..." she says, looking at the wall. "Ummm...are you guys planning a murder?" She laughs.
They all stare at her, and her smile drops. "Oh my god, you are...who are we killing?" She says, crossing her arms.
"Malthael," Denki says.
"What's the plan?" She asks, leaning against the door frame. They begin to go through everything with her, and she listens carefully.
"This is good work...but I don't think it's one of his guys," Griffin sighs.
"What?" Izuku asks.
She walks over to the board. "All of the members were arrested, and Kai is the only one out of jail," she says, staring at the board.
"Crap," Hitoshi sighs. She stares at the board, trying to figure out the puzzle before them.
"Griffin?" Mina asks. She turns around and looks at her. "You...you aren't going to tell on us, right?" She asks.
Griffin laughs. "Who the hell would I tell? I'm saying a word to Match stick, and my dad probably already knows you guys are this deep. Your secret is safe with me," she smiles.
"You really don't have a problem with us trying to murder someone?" Bakugou asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Nope. He deserves to die," Griffin shrugs.
"I like your aunt, Hitoshi," Bakugou smirks.
"Look, if you guys find out anything, just call me. I'll check it out if it fits the profile. Keep it up," she nods.
She walks out, and Hitoshi runs after her. "Are you really going to leave after this is over?" He asks.
She turns and shrugs. "It's safer..." she sighs.
"If you help stop him...the commission would owe you," Hitoshi says.
"They won't care...they don't like people like me," she shrugs.
"People like you?" He asks.
"Non-Pure hybrids. I'm not like Hawks or Mirko," she shrugs.
"But...you're still a hero," he says, confused.
"Not to them," she says.
"Don't worry... I won't be a stranger to you guys..." she smiles and walks out. She walks down the steps and stops.
She sighs. "You following me, Bird?" She asks, turning around.
Keigo lands and stares at her. "You can't leave when this is over," he says softly.
"I don't have a choice. I won't put Y/N in jeopardy like that," she says, annoyed.
"There has to be a way–"
"There isn't. Why do you care so much? I get Y/N and the kids...but why you?" She asks.
"I...well, I know how much Y/N has missed you," he shrugs.
"I see..." she nods. "Well, I won't be a stranger to them," she says.
He nods a little. "Got it," he says. She takes off into the sky, leaving him alone.

Decompose!
Dear diary. When you read stories about some people missing and returning after years of absence claiming they were living in another world, your first reaction is to scoff and dismiss a story as a tall tale, right? I know I did. All the time. Until it happened to me and I no longer did. That day was today. Some god of thunder smote me. If it were Chris Hemsworth, I wouldn't mind but it was some barbaric Hitite god that abaondned Earth some four millennia ago. Yes, what can I say? I love the seventh art. I have more hours watching movies than any other activity, including sleep. What? Do you think I'm exaggerating? Maybe I am. I'll really miss hollywood the most. And my biggest regret is that I never got to visit the holy city of cinema. I did not come to another world to be a hero even though there was hints that they hoped I'd save it. I did not come with overpowered abilities able to, dunno, leap tall castles in a single bound, faster than a speeding crossbow bolt, be more powerful than a eight-horse carriage, the bounds. No. After the asshole god that murdered me brought me to his world, he gave me some boons from his discount bin and "The Power of my Soul (tm)". Forgive my french, I hope you understand I am rather upset at dying. And he somehow decided that my power is to recycle stuff. How awesome is that? Not much at first, I must admit. At least I got all my camping stuff and equipment with me. There's no lycra in the other world. I'll make it someday, but that day is not today. So here I am. In another world, in the middle of nowhere. I'm no heroine. As the song goes, I'm your basic average girl. And I'm assumed to be here to save the world. But almost everything can stop me, because I'm not named Kim. Wish me luck, diary. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This novel is going have the following features: slow-paced slice-of-life No GameLit / LitRPG elements. Movie references. Sandra likes the seventh art. Journal / diary style crafting (includes chemistry, engineering and metallurgy) low magic technological advancement (for Sandra, at least. She is not against sharing though) personal relations clash of perception between the modern and ancient customs. bits of tension, fighting, and plot here and there. I won't repeat myself though. Once she crafts a good batch of soap, for example, she'll just note, "I crafted soap again." Once it is estabilished how she obtains compound X, compound X2 that is obtainable from the same process will also just be mentioned. I'll try to be as realistic as I can with the crafting, chemistry, and technology. Cover: Public Domain Image by StockSnap from Pixabay. No attribution required but we do it anyway.
