The fight didn't last long before the leopard retreats. Law goes out to find Sabo and Ace wounded, he could tell by the looks on their faces that Spandam had gotten away. He checks the alarm on his phone. "Four hours... We need to hurry," He says. They both nod, getting to their feet.
"Right," Sabo breathes.
"Law!" Usopp calls, running up.
"You find something?" He asks.
"I'm not sure, Class A building is swarming with those guys," Usopp tells him. Law looks toward the building, he had honestly forgotten about that one.
"Alright, lets head there." Law says, leading the way. The moment they got close, the students in black (assumed to be Discipline Committee too) leap from the windows and block the way. "Sabo, Usopp, Ace. I'll handle them, check the building for-"
"THAT'S TOO DAMN FREAKY!!" Your cry from inside the building makes him smile and relax.
"I love her.. " He chuckles.
#Flashback End#
Of course he had only told you the main things, none of the details. You shift, frowning at the floor. "Purge... Does that mean they're..." You trail off, deeply troubled be the thought.
"Some yes..." Sabo confirms. You are suddenly on your feet, feelings cold.
"No... We... Have to stop this..." You murmur, going to your closet and looking around for something.
"How? There's too many of them," Usopp points out as you take out a metal bar and testing the weight.
"Sit down you idiot! You're still hurt!" Kid scolds. You put on your slippers and grab your jacket, pulling it on. "Hey! Don't ignore me-"
"There are people dying around me, if you want to stop me then you better chain me to something sturdy...." You interrupt going to the door. "If not, by all means, come help me kick some disciplinary ass, because I can tolerate a lot, but murder isn't one of them," You tell them. They all stand, Law pauses and gets up as well. You nod. "Kick ass we shall." With that you head out, whistling some little tune as you lead them down the hall. Some students peer out to see what was going on. Reading the mood, most joined your group, following you down the stairs and to the center of the courtyard.

"Um... What are you planning?" Sabo asks.
"I don't plan, I go on instinct and pure luck..." You reply bluntly. Wary looks are exchanged amongst your temporary gang. You smirk before bringing your fingers to your lips and giving a loud whistle, gaining everyone's attention. "Come on Disciplinary Committee! Right here!" You call, raising your arm.
"You're fucking crazy," Kid buffs.
"I've missed you," Law chuckles to you. You throw him a grin and he smiles and kisses your cheek, making you blush.
"Oi." The guys object, frowning at Law. He chuckles and you swiftly look down. Your eyes glide back up and you tense at sight of the assembled Disciplinary Committee. Damn there were a lot.
"You called us out?" Lucci says, ahead of the pack. "Are you mad?" He questions.
"I'm starting to wonder the same thing," You admit, shifting nervously.
"I swear if you run now, I'm kicking your ass," Kid breathes.
"Im.... I'm not..." You whisper back, wondering what the hell made you think you could do that.
"Excuse me," A gruff voice makes you look back to see Smoker coming up behind you.
"Smokey, come to die with me?" You joke nervously.
"No, I need to tell you something that will help," He says, leaning near your and whispering a certain phrase in your ear. You instantly relax and smirk cockily.
"Thanks Smo-love," You chuckle. He sighs at the old nickname.
"Lets just kick their asses," He says.
"Right... Let's see... Is 'charge' appropriate for this fight?" You ask Kid. He gives you a wary glance do to the sudden change in you.
"Uh... I guess," He says.
"Alright then! CHARGE!" You call, lunging forward.
"What the hell did you do?" Kid asks Smoker.

"Snapped her out of a trance," Smoker says bluntly as everyone charges after you.
You by pass Lucci, taking care of the grunts in a whirlwind of random attacks. They tried to leap at you but you made smack them away like they were dolls. A wide smile marks your lips as you made quickly work of them. Something crashes into your broken ribs, making you wince as you go tumbling, the leopard pins you down in an instant.
"You think your little group will stop this?" He snarls. You give him a reckless grin.
"Nah, my gang will help them stop it," You snarl back. He pauses and an iron cannonball attached to a tonfa hits him in the jaw. He staggers back but a second one to the chest sends him flying back. You jump to your feet as the disciplinaries start to retreat at the sight of the large gang that had joined the fray. "Listen up Disciplinary Committee!!.... This is our school!" You declare. With that they retreat. You turn to Gin and hug him tightly.
"Glad you're safe..." He coughs. You pull back.
"What are you doing here!?" You gasp cheerfully.
"Well. Gin called you and whoever answer said you were about to be executed," Krieg informs you.
"Aw! You come to save me-- Hold on, why did you call me?" You ask warily. He pales.easing himself and you pipe from your grasp.
"Can't I call to check on my friend?" He asks.
"Gin..." You say, tapping your foot. He shifts and suddenly takes off running.
"Krieg burnt down your apartment!" He calls. Your glare goes to Krieg and he pales.
"TRAITOR!" He shouts at Gin as he runs too.
"IM KICKING ALL YOUR ASSES!" You shout after the frantically retreating gang.

The Stories We Told In the Dark
6/19/21: not abandoned, taking this back up again but reworking older chapters first! The planet Tellus is dying and humanity’s last hope is finding other planets that are capable of sustaining human life. Valentine is one of many orphans who were forced into a state program and experimented upon to enhance their strength, intelligence, and magical capabilities. They have been chosen to lead humanity out into space, guiding and protecting them as they gather resources and rebuild their population so that they may someday return home. But the very procedures meant to prepare them for the challenges ahead cause them to become despised and feared and looked upon as something monstrous. *** Updated biweekly on Tuesdays. [Schedule is currently a bit borked due to poor health, looking to finish up the first section of this book by the end of the year then back to a regular schedule in January] This is a kitchen sink space opera. It originated off me lamenting the lack of witches in space and has spiraled out of control from there.

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello! Suddenly faced with the consequences of his actions, Saul is forced to make a difficult decision. And as he fights his own battle, dark forces descend upon Lucidia. Followed by a pair of glowing red eyes, a stranger appears in the night, visiting Falden with unfavorable intentions. Even worse, nameless assassins strike at the heart of the capital, leaving Eliza Zaryph, the black sheep of the ruling house of Lucidia, shouldering the burden of governing a kingdom that once turned its back on her. As the world marches toward chaos, their lives take a drastic turn. Will Saul abandon those he holds most dear? Will Eliza drown herself in the past? Or will they struggle against fate and seize the future with their own hands? Tomorrow remains uncertain. But the Sun will show them the way. Author's Note: Inspired by the Wuxia/Xianxia genre the magic system is comprised of cultivating through different Worlds of power, where each World offers more strength and abilities. Currently there are five Worlds known: Essence Practitioner, Essence Channeler, Essence Warrior, Essence Conquerer, and finally Essence Ruler. (And for the best reading experience I recomend altering your width setting to about 70 or 80 percent on desktop.) Table of Contents: Prologue Part 1: Homecoming (chapters 1-12) Part 2: Journey (chapters 13-25) About 70 percent complete. I'll update this figure over time and begin posting again after I finish it and go through several rounds of editing.
