*First Floor*
"Where the hell is that entry point!?" You gasp as you and Ace run down the hall with night guards right behind you.
"Where's the map!?" Ace asks.
"I gave it to Zoro incase he got lost!" You reply.
"Oh... Good call," He comments.
"Thanks," You pant, glancing back to see you were still being pursued.
"Hey, after this is over... You wanna have dinner with me off campus?" He asks.
"Ace, I really don't this is the time to be asking me out," You tell him as you both skid around the corner.
"I'm just trying to beat the others to it," He points out. Buggy's arm starts to point and you both follow the point to see the others.
"Guys! You're okay!" You cry out, tackle hugging Luffy.
"Shishishi! Yep! It was a slow fall," He tells you. Someone clears their throat and you look over to see a not very happy Buggy.
"Oh yeah... This is yours..." You say, sheepishly handing him his arm.
"Ouch! What have you been doing with my arm!?" He demands. You shift and shrug.
"Oh, you know... Stuff... Came out very handy though..." You joke. His eye twitches, looking at you unamused while the others, especially Ace chuckles. "I'm sorry..." You say, dropping your head. He shifts at your pout, frowning more.
"It's fine! Lets just go," He sighs, patting your head.
"Uh, guys..." Nami begins making you look back to see the guards were catching up.
"Right! Last floor!" You tell them.
"Over there!" Ace says, pointing at another elevator.
"Screw it," You growl, running for it. They all pile in again. You pull the lever and brace yourself, but it goes down easily. Everyone relaxes. "Everyone hear?' You ask, checking your phone.

"Still missing Zoro," Killer comments.
"We have an hour until sunrise and then two days," You tell them.
"We'll get them back before dawn," Robin muses.
"Awesome," You breathe.
"They're going to be so surprised to see us!" Luffy chuckles.
"Oh yeah... I can't wait," You murmur.
*Bottom Floor*
You step out of the elevator and suddenly sprint ahead. "Law? Kid?" You call.
"Guys!?" Luffy calls.
"Boss!?" Killer joins in.
"Split up and find them!" You tell your group. They nod and split up. You take out your phone and call Gin. "We made it to the target floor, be ready for the extraction," You order him.
'Yes boss,' He says before hanging up.
"A red head, and a black haired delinquent," A deep voice makes you look over as a man with sharp eyes leans on the bars.
"You saw them?" You ask, turning to the man.
"Yes, they were taken up the execution lift not too long ago, apparently they're rushing their executions." He tells you. You pale.
"N-no... That can't..." You shake your head.
"___? What's wrong?" Ace asks, coming over.
"They're executing them this morning," The man adds. "There's a lot of cops up there... How many are in your group?"
"Not enough," You reply as Ace swiftly tells the others.
"The prisoners will help you, it'll be a hell of a prison break," He comments. You meet his eyes.
"Hold on, you can't seriously be considering that!" Nami gasps.
"Why not? We're criminals ourselves," You point out.
"I like you, what's your name?" The man inquires.
"___, and yours?" You reply.
"Crocodile," He answers.
"Well then Mr. Crocodile, you might want to step back," You tell him, pulling out your 9mm. He backs up and you shoot the door lock a few times before opening the door for him. "Free the prisoners! We'll Gove these guys hell to pay for taking our friends!" You order the group.

"Right!" They say before splitting up.
"Can you show me to the lift?" You ask Crocodile.
"Certainly," He rumbles, leading the way. You walk in silence and you check your phone. "Relax, you have plenty of-" A giant body gets in your path. "Shit..." Crocodile mutters. You look up and pale.
"What the hell is that?" You ask.
"The guardian of this floor..." He replies.
"Like a dragon guarding a princess... This is so backwards..." You mutter, taking out your guns.
"No offense but Im amazed someone as small as you got this far," Crocodile comments. The beast gets ready to pounce when there's a crash and something falls from the roof, rubble and another figure lands on it's head, knocking it out. The figure stands and you relax.
"There you are, I've been looking for you," Zoro huffs, hopping off the beasts head.
"What a coincidence, I've been waiting for you... Ready to raise some hell?" You ask, hugging him.
"Hell yeah."

Nora and the Search for Friendship
Ellie is excited to go to university and finally make friends after a difficult time at high school. However, she’s a little worried when the book club has her read a really awful historical-fantasy story about what sixteen-year-old Eleanor gets up to at a “prep school” for the children of nobility. Still, she’s hopeful since the other girls seem nice, and they surely want to make fun of the story, so she’s in high spirits on her way to the meeting. Then she dies. Eleanor de Kent, beloved second daughter of a duke, slowly comes to terms with her memories of her past life as Ellie—including that she’s apparently the lead character from that book. Her childhood has its ups and downs, and loneliness seems to be inescapable. The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
