Had to be over a hundred prisoners on that lift, all armed with pipes and what not. You stood with your group and Crocodile at the front. You kept shifting to keep from pacing. "Why the hell is this so slow!?" You groan, getting impatient.

"Calm down, we'll save them," Ace tells you. You frown at him, uneasiness evident on your face.

"Calm down, you'll need your energy for the giant fight about to take place," Crocodile agrees. You look to him and relax a bit, looking up the wall. Just a few more yards. You close your eyes.

'Two guys that you care about are in danger, you need to keep calm. Remember your objective. Remember....' You tell yourself. You slowly open your eyes as the lift reaches the courtyard and stops loudly, drawing the cop's gazes. They tense at sight of the small army. Your eyes lock straight ahead the execution sight, Law and Kid lifted their heads in amazement.

"Yo, we came to crash the party we weren't invited to," You say loudly. The cops shift uneasily. "Crash it," You order the horde behind you. The prisoners, your group, and yourself rush forward at that. You let others handle the small fry while you run for Law and Kid. You dodge cops and fighting prisoners drawing closer and closer. Only stopping when a familiar face steps up behind Law and Kid.

"Hello love," He rumbles and your stomach drops. He wraps an arm around Kid's and Law's necks. "Now wasn't it nice of my ex fiance to come all the way to save trash like you?" He sneers. A look of shock passes between Kid and Law as Donovan releases their necks and steps toward you. "I hope you're not out here because of 'love' that'll be quite stupid of you... I mean, a murderer," He gestures to Law. "And a crazy bank robber who blows up buildings," Gestures to Kid.

"Then again, I guess someone like you can't do better..." He sighs, and shakes his head as he draws even closer. You stare at him, eyes wide. "Oh, I'm sorry, are you scared love?" He sneers. You blink and start to laugh. He looks at you in shock and steps back as you laugh harder.

"Wow... You're really confident that I'm scared of you now!" You laugh heartily as he takes another wary step back. "Andit doesn't matter what these two have done, because just an inch from either of them is still a thousand times the man you could ever hope to be." You retort, taking a step back. He falls on his butt, back pedalling slightly. "And another thing, don't use such a word carelessly... Didn't you say it yourself before love? Just one word can result in death," You rumble, black flames starting to dance over your skin. He swallows in horror, eyes wide. You crouch to his level, scaring him. "I suggest you start running before I decide to change my objective to revenge," You hiss. He pales and suddenly gets up, running away.

"___?" Law breathes, and the black flames suddenly disappear and you brighten up.

"Hey you two! I missed you!" You chime, coming over and shooting off their cuffs. They straighten up, rubbing their wrists and looking at you in awe.

"What was up with the flames just now?" Kid asks.

"Oh uh... I guess they have something to do with my hidden strength... Anyway we have to--" You turn only to get punched in the face and sent flying. You flip and land with a skid, holding your nose as you glare at the familiar face.

"Bastard!" Law and Kid growl, moving to attack him only to be sent flying in different directions.

"I had a feeling you would come... These two seemed awfully attached to you," Akainu comments.

"All this to get to me?" You pant.

"It's the only way to lure you out," He points out. Your eyes narrow. His damn obsession with destroying you has gone too far. Being sent to that damn school was enough, but this? You were so over all the bullshit.

'It's okay if I kick everyone's ass now right?' A voice growls in your head.

"Sure, let's do it," You mutter, standing up as a column of black flames envelopes you. Your (color) wings burst open, dispersing the flames. (color) horns sprout from your head. Your skin was a different color, and your eyes were black with (color) slitted pupils. Akainu stops at the sight of you.

"You truly are a demon," He snarls.

"And you truly and literally annoy the hell out of me," You shoot back. His jaw clenches and you both lunge at eachother. Your movements were even faster as you punch him in the jaw and send him flying through a wall. "Alright now that's over.... Fly team! Grab the targets and meet the extract team!" You call. They pause at sight of you, so you swiftly calm down and return to normal. "Don't stare at me! Lets get the hell out of-" You narrowly dodge the wall fragment. "Go now!" You order, before glaring at Akainu. They hesitantly listen and grab Kid and Law before running for the extraction point.

"___!" Law calls worriedly. You give him a thumbs up before throwing black fire at Akainu, steadily following after the others. A fist connecting with your jaw, sends you back. You hit the ground and start to get up. More cops had come to put you down a glass of liquid crashes on the ground between you and the advancing group. You smirk and flick a flame at the liquid making black flames spring up to shield you. You get back up only to be hit by another large piece of rubble you cough up blood with a pained cry. You hit a wall and fall to the ground again. Damn you felt weak. You start to get up but your tired limbs betray you.

'Why aren't they working?' You wonder, trying again only to collapse again. You turn your head to see Akainu approaching.

"Seems like that new found power uses up a lot of energy... And you sent your friends away... How foolish of you. Guess I'll dispose of you now..." He rumbles, drawing out his gun and pointing it at you.

'Dammit!' You think, glaring at him. He pulls the trigger but a black blade suddenly piercing the ground in front of you blocks the bullet. You blink in surprise.

"That's enough, leave our students alone," A familiar voice growls as a group lands between you and Akainu. You're picked up, and held bridal style. You look up at Mihawk and blush slightly. He looks down at you as the teachers glare down the cops.

"Are you okay ___?" He asks. You manage a smile before passing out.
