《The Ninth Eeveelution》Pikachu

"Hey!" A voice called. "Wake up!"
My eyes drifted open as I yawned. A yellow male Pikachu stood in front of me. It was only about two thirds my size. I stood. I considered attacking it or running away, but it seemed friendly.
"No offense, but what pokemon are you?" The Pikachu asked.
I walked past him and stared into the water. I still looked like some sort of ghost.
"I... I don't know." I answered.
The Pikachu tilted his head in confusion. He shrugged and joined me beside the water. It was the middle of the night and the moon reflected off the lake.
"You know..." Pikachu muttered. "My trainer's a bit down after losing a gym battle. He acts fine but I know he's not happy inside. I'd appreciate it if you would maybe meet him. He get excited meeting new pokemon."
I looked at Pikachu, dumbfounded.
"What's a... Trainer?" I asked. "And what's a gym battle?"
Pikachu sighed.
"I'm sure you've seen humans around, right?" he asked. I nodded.
"Some humans become trainers. They catch pokemon and become stronger. They treat them with love, like a big family. Gym battles are like challenges for them. Something to accomplish. Something worth training for."
"That sounds nice."
"It is. If you get a good trainer. I've been around long enough to see the way some trainers treat their pokemon. Some aren't that nice."
The two sat in silence.
"Well, I gotta go. I can't worry him any longer."
I smiled as the Pikachu bounded away into the distance. He soon disappeared into the trees.
I looked up at the moon. It wasn't blinding, like the sun. It glowed with a white light. I curled up again on the shore. I fell asleep under the cool moonlight.

I was woken by a blinding light. When I opened my eyes, the sun stared back at me. Swiftly, I averted my gaze and turned around. Last I checked, the sunrise wasn't this bright. I took a sip of refreshing water and wandered around the forest. I ate berries from tree to sate my hunger and followed anything that seemed interesting.
I encountered a few pokemon. I fought them with no worry for my safety and won every time. I taught myself a few moves, Shadow ball and Shadow claw. I also learned psychic, but it's hard to control. I'll need more practice. I seemed to draw to any move that has shadow or ghost in it.
I was walking along, feeling fairly confident about my strength, until I heard some yelling near a path. I emerged to see what is was, and I was greeted by a human. An immature one, i judged. He was cheering about a red and white orb on the ground. I was behind him. I think this is what the Pikachu said was a trainer.
He turned to see me emerge from a bush, and his face lit up. He pulled out a red metal square and faced it to me.
"No Data. No Data. Unknown pokemon."
He took out another red and white orb. He chucked it toward me. It missed and went past my head. He took another and threw it. I strode to the side as it rolled into the bush. He continued throwing more orbs as I effortlessly dodged them.
"Let me catch you!" he yelled. Wait. Catch? As in trap or take? I don't want that!
I jumped into the air and released a barrage of shadow balls. It crashed around the boy, blowing dust everywhere. I landed beside him and used phychic. I couldn't use it well, but It'll work for now. I flung the trainer a few meters back, where he landed on his back. He winced in pain as he jumped back up.

"I'll get you!" he cried, throwing more balls. But I don't want to endanger myself again, so instead I jumped into the bushes, disappearing into the forest. The trainer yelled behind me, but soon he was out of earshot. I stopped running and sat under a tree. I didn't even break a sweat during the entire ordeal. Still, I just laid down and fell asleep. I've had enough action for one day.
I woke to a dark sky. I saw the moon still close to the horizon. I figured it turned night not too long ago. I wasn't tired. Or hungry, so I walked around a little. I came across the wreaked ground of my little encounter. The dirt and rock was tossed around, and a small crater had formed. I felt somewhat proud of my work. Out of boredom, I wandered down the smooth path.
I hadn't seen anything like this before. Maybe the humans made it. Most pokemon would be asleep right now in the night, so I though it was safe to travel this way.
After a while, the path led to a large space. It was filled with houses made from wood and I saw some humans lounging about. Nobody seemed to notice me. I wondered around the streets. There was one building, seemingly out of place, in the middle of the village. It looked... smoother and shiny. It had a pink roof and white walls and was very circular.
As I stared at the structure, I heard small foot steps running up to me. I turned to see the same Pikachu I saw on the river. It skidded to a stop beside me.
"Hey!" he said, a noticeably a bit quieter. "I saw you on the lake, right?"
I nodded.
"It's great to see you here!" he said. "Come with me!"
He sprinted off in the opposite direction. I followed, lagging behind Pikachu. Soon we arrived at a log cabin with dark windows. It looked identical to almost every other building. Pikachu bounded into an open window, and I did the same. I saw a bunch of pokemon sleeping near the couch.
"You can stay here if you want." Pikachu whispered. I may as well, I'm not in danger with pokemon. I curled up under the table fell asleep quickly.

Tainted Reflections (A Litrpg Portal Apocalypse)
Thirty-five years ago, the world ended. A small subsection of humanity was sent to a brand new world with a game-like system that 'ensured' our survival, and the rest simply disappeared. I fought my way to the upper echelon of levels, made and lost friends over the years, and it finally felt like humanity had carved itself a small foothold in this Godforsaken place. Until one final person died. Until the system reset, and took everything I'd worked so damn hard for with it. I found myself staring at a face I barely recognized as my own, and the Earth began to end once again. Updates every day Monday thru Friday.

Marakar
Far from the exploration he yearned to go on, Rae, the Kijah prince, finds himself in the middle of the impending war between Kijah'dar and Ga'ani. Unknown to him, or to the rest of the states, the Kijah Magister plots to overthrow the queen, and he will stop at nothing to achieve his plans. Marakar is a fantasy adventure series about the island states of Mar’narana (with focus primarily on the two states, Kijah'dar and Ga'ani). Tensions between the big players are rising, with more and more plots getting revealed, and powers are unexpectedly shifting. As the string of seemingly unconnected events grows taut, the smaller nations suddenly find themselves into the midst of things, struggling with the sudden shifting of their boards. On a more meta note, I am trying to develop two storylines parallel to each other. As you might have noticed, odd-numbered chapters are very different from even-numbered chapters. That’s because those are the two different storylines; odd-numbered chapters are in the present, while even-numbered ones are in the past. Once the two eventually meet I'll continue with just the present storyline. This story can also be found here where it currently updates every other Sunday (about twice a month). Feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read. :) tw/cw list (please take care of your mental health! Don't force yourself to read these chapters if they may harm you). -------> Chapter 14: hate crime description.
