*3RD PERSON POV*

At City Hall, Vlad steps into the podium to speak up. The crowd cheers loudly as Vlad forms the 'victory' signs with his hands. "Thank you! Thank you one and all!" Vlad said. "Huzzah! The Fentons are one heartbeat away from the Mayor's Office! Next stop, the White house, and I'm gonna be Vlad's number two man!" Jack exclaims.

"Jack…you're dreaming…" Maddie said, in disbelief.

"Am not! Why, just this morning he told me that when he thinks of number two, he thinks of me!" Jack said, a smile on his face, but you snigger at this.

"I'd like to take a moment now, if I may, to thank two very special people in my life…" Vlad said. "Oh, shucks already, Vladdie! Save it for our swearing in!" Jack said, pointing at him and Maddie, who rolls her eyes.

"Come on up here! Danny Fenton and (y/n) (l/n)!" Vlad said.

You and Danny remain silent as the crowd cheers again and Jack pushes you two forward. You and Danny stagger to the front and Vlad grabs both of you close so that only you two can hear him. "I'm rubbing your noses in this mess you two made. Doesn't it smell yummy?" Vlad said to you two and then he turns you and Danny forward to face the crowd. "It was this young man and young lady who inspired me to pursue my true calling! Politics! For that, I owe them a debt. And I will pay it by protecting them and all the precious children of Amity Park from the biggest problem facing this town….Ghosts!" He said and the crowd begins to cheer.

"Uh-oh, I have a bad feeling about this…" Sam mutters to Tucker. "Relax, Sam! So he will propose a couple of lame laws. How bad could it be?" Tucker asked as he smiles confidently.

"!!!!!" Tucker shouts as he wraps his arms around Lancer's legs as Lancer carries an arm full of technology out of the school.

The Technus Act will ban all high-tech gear susceptible to ghost infiltration…

"No! No! No!" Tucker cries as Lancer continues to walk out, Tucker dragged by him.

A strict dress code will guard against anything dark and gothic which can attract ecto-unfriendlies.

Sam was walking down the halls of Casper High, looking discontent. The reason? She and the rest of the students of Casper High had to wear school uniforms. Girls had to wear a blue skirt with a white shirt with a red vest and the boys had to wear the same except with blue pants.

And in addition, there will be a 4 PM curfew; Mandatory Roll Call before and after class, and heightened security to ensure the safety of students.

A guard comes up to you and slams you up against the lockers while the other guard grabs your backpack. "Hey! Leave her alone!" Danny shouted, angrily, as he runs at the guards but the seconf guard grabs him and slams him down the floor as a third guard spills the contents of your backpack on the floor. Then they dropped your backpack on the floor and walk away.

You fall on your butt as you look towards the guards in anger. Danny walks over you and holds his hand out to you. "Are you okay?" He asked you as you accept his hand. "Yeah....fine." You muttered as you get up on your feet. He pulls your face up to look at him and he leans in to kiss you. You break the kiss as Lancer walks by, still had Tucker hanging onto his legs until he finally lets go while Sam walks up to you two.

"For the record dude, this reeks…" Tucker said while you and Danny pick up your stuff and your backpack. "And everybody thinks it's your fault. Guilt by association with Vlad." Sam said to you and Danny. "Hey, we're taking the biggest hit here!" You shouted, angrily, as you and Danny stand back up then looked up at the surveillance camera. "With all this surveillance and restrictions, Vlad is making sure that (y/n) and I can almost never go ghost!" Danny said.

"That might be a good thing…" Tucker said as he shows the cover of a newspaper in where Danny Phantom's and Shadow Girl's face are surrounded by a circle and a line going across their image. "...Looks like you two are paranormal-non-gratta." said Tucker. "Vlad's claiming that Danny Phantom's and Shadow Girl's presence may be more an invitation to ghosts than a deterrent." Sam informed you two. "Which we all know is an absolute load. With us out of the picture, ghosts will be on the lose all over town!" Danny said.

Although as weeks go by, that didn't seem to be the problem. Ghosts were roaming the town but thanks to Vlad, the Guys in White were running around and taking down all of the ghosts. "Boy, Vlad's PR Machine is really trumping up all this ghost battles." Sam said as the four of you approached a news stand a few days later. "All those phony attacks were staged!" You replied, darkly. "Vlad's convincing everyone that they don't need us anymore…" said Danny. "But on the bright side, at least Vlad's rebuilding out hangout!" Tucker exclaimed as he points behind you and Danny.

You turn to look at the new building, which is not the Nasty Burger but McMasters, with a sign labeled Grand Opening; Teenagers were standing around it. "McMasters?" You and Danny said in unison. You, Danny, Tucker, and Sam approach the restaurant but are stopped by the agent. "Can I help you to leave?" The agent asked then he kicks the four of you away. "There're no teenagers allowed here!" He said. "What!? You can't be serious!" Danny shouted.

The agent points at a sign with a silouhete of a kid with a red circle and red line over the kid. "Now, beat it, all youse kids!" he shouts.

"This is all yours and your girlfriend's fault, Fenedic Arnold! You two are responsible for this lousy mayor!" Dash yelled at you and Danny. You look down at your feet as Danny says. "Okay, I really feel like crud now."

"Tell me about it." You said. Then you look up at Danny, a look of determination appeared on your face. "There's one thing left to do." You said and Danny nods. "I'm goin' gh-" Both of you started to say until Sam said. "WAIT!" Then she points at a camera hanging from the restaurant's roof. "No worries! Vlad took away my tech, so I'm taking his!" Tucker said as he runs forward and clings to the camera, detaching it from its place and consequentially disabling it. "Go ahead You two!" Then he turns and cuddles the camera. "Hello, special new friend."

You and Danny run and go ghost and phase to Vlad's Office. "Ah, Daniel and (y/n), I had a feeling you two would come." Vlad said, calmly, as he smiles. "Look, this goes against everything we stand for but...we're sorry we played those stupid pranks on you." Danny said and you could tell that it took all of his effort to say that but you nod in agreement. "...and We're hoping you'll accept our apology and stop making things miserable for us and our friends...." You said then both you and Danny extend your hands and said. "Truce?"

"How nice. A Gentleman's handshake...But you two forget...Where you two and I are concerned.....I AM NO GENTLEMAN!" Vlad shouted, angrily.

"OH COME ON! Can you even pretend to have a heart!?" Danny asked him. "Seriously, we're doing an effort here!" You said. "I KNOW! And even though the apology is a welcome departure from your usual childish arrogance, it belies a greater truth! YOU TWO HAD THIS COMING!" Vlad continue to shout.

"But--"

"NO BUTS! Trust me when I tell you two that your lives has just begun to become a relentless nightmare beyond your feeble IMAGINATIONS! AND ONE THING FURTHER, when I said this place was off limits to teens, that includes ghost teens!!" Vlad screamed as he presses a button and the Guys In White break into the room, aiming their ecto-weapons at you and Danny. Both of you fly away but you two get blasted out of the office by the GiW; you two land near Tucker and Sam, reverting back to human.

"So…how'd that go?" Tucker asked you two. "This reeks…we're ruined." Danny said, dejectedly. "Our ghost career is over..."

"Our school career is over..." You said.

"Every kid at Casper hates us!" said Danny.

"More than usual…" You added.

"Yeah, but I bet they hate Vlad even more…I got an idea!" Sam said as she looks over at the crowd of teenagers from across the street.

The next day at Casper High, you and Danny were standing a picnic table, talking about doing a protest against Vlad with the your classmates. "Let me get this straight….you two are leading a protest against your buddy the Mayor?" Dash asked, obviously confused about the plan. "Trust us; he's no buddy of ours, or yours!" You informed. "He's just using us!" Danny said.

"But the people have the power to make it change!" Sam said as she holds up a protest sign. "Right! We can take back this town one Nasty Burger at a time!" Tucker said as he holds up a sign as well. Then you and Danny pick up a couple of signs as Danny said. "So, what do ya say? Are you with us?"

"YEAH!" the kids shouted and they gathered around, grabbed some protesting signs and all of you head over to McMasters.

"It's a chaotic scene here at McMaster's as irate "Casper High Students protest the eateries no teenager policy." The reporter said in front of the camera as the students of Casper High protested.

"This is so cool! This protest is bound to rattle Vlad's cage! Right guys?" Sam said but she looks around for you and Danny, but you two were nowhere to be found. "Where's Danny and (y/n)?" Sam asked Tucker. "They must be taking a break. But I'll tell you whose here! The Mayor himself!" Tucker exclaimed as a limousine drives up in front of McMasters and Vlad steps out, smiling confidently.

"Now, now, children! I'm sure we can reach some sort of understanding here!" Vlad said to the teens. "We're not children, so stop treating us that way!" Sam shouted at him.

Meanwhile, you and Danny were crouching on the roof of McMasters, overlooking the scene and smiled. "Just what I hoped for!" Danny muttered to you. "Now it's time to blow Vlad's game once and for all!" You said and the two of you go ghost just as Jack and Maddie arrive at the restaurant.

"Never fear Vladdie! We're here to scoop the small fry! Which reminds me…ever thought of super-sizing those Vladdie Meals?" Jack asked hsi friend. "Oooh, for the love of…" Vlad mutters, annoyed, before he turns back to Sam. "Come on now, dudes! Can't we wrap about this? Open a big, meaningful dialogue?" He asked her when you and Danny land next to him.

"What about we open something up?" Danny asked.

"Like a big can of worms!?" You exclaimed.

"It's the ghost kids!" Jack shouts and then he takes out a gun and aims it at you and Danny but Vlad takes the gun away and places an arm around yours and Danny's shoulders. "Just a moment. We're all friends here, mhhhm? Let the lad and the lady have their say!" Vlad said, very uncharacteristic.

"Uh...really?" You said, confused.

"Okay then! I'll, uh, give it to you straight!" Danny said, quickly, while you were lost in thought. Something is wrong. This doesn't sound like Vlad at all. You thought as Danny turns to the crowd. "The Mayor is a phony, and he's hiding a secret that will shock you all! It's time for all the world to know! Vlad Masters is really---" Danny started to say until a voice called out.

"The most feared nemesis in the entire Ghost Realm!"

Everyone gasps as Plasmius hovers over everyone, smirking and arm-crossed. I knew it! You thought. "Oh dear, it's a clearly evil–yet devastatingly handsome--ghost villain! Whatever shall we do?" Vlad said, feigning concern and surprise. Plasmius starts shooting ecto-rays at buildings and people, wreaking havoc. Vlad turns to you and Danny and said. "Check and mate."

You and Danny fly up to Plasmius. "Okay, you carbon-copy freak! We're taking you down!" Danny exclaimed at him. "I don't think so. Remember I'm merely a single duplication and still more powerful than you two combined!" Plasmius said as he blasts you and Danny away with ecto-rays, making you two crash against the restaurant's wall. "Oooh, I bet that hurt, or at least, I hope it did… " Vlad said as he smiles while you and Danny fly after Plasmius. You, Danny and Plasmius start fighting and Plasmius conjures an ecto-tornado by swirling around rapidly.

Plasmius' tornado diffracts yours and Danny's powers and pulls you two in, only to send you and Danny pelting like a bullet a second later and causing you two to crash into the restaurant; Plasmius' flies after you and Danny and into the restaurant. "See? Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl attracts the worst of what the Ghost World has to offer and they're virtually powerless to stop them!" Vlad said to the townspeople.

You, Danny and Plasmius fight within the restaurant but Plasmius has the upper hand and blasts Danny through the roof and into the sky. You gasped at this as you fire more ecto-blasts at Plasmius but he uppercuts you and you fly through the roof as well. Plasmius flies after you two and grabs both of you by the neck before either of you have the chance to recover. "Let…us go!" You shouted at him. "Oh I will, in just a few seconds. Watch and learn!" Plasmius said as he turns his head to the people below.

"I see that I'm forced to take matters into my own more capable hands!" Vlad said as he takes an ecto-gun out and aims at Plasmius. "Stand down, you fiend! There's a new mayor in town and his name is Vlad Masters!" The crowd gasps and look up at Plasmius. "Oh no, please don't hurt me Mayor Masters, I beg of you!" Plasmius as he lets you two go. Then he grins at you and Danny before flying down and kneeling pleadingly before Vlad. "Please, take pity of me; I'm but a poor dumb ghost! I can't help being bad!" He said, pleadingly. "Which is exactly why I'm taking you down!" Vlad said, still aiming the gun at Plasmius.

"What!? He's gonna zap his own clone to make himself look good!" Danny exclaimed and then an idea struck you. "Unless….It does just the opposite!" You said with a smirk. "What do you mean?" He asked you. "You might not like it but I've got an idea!" You said and you, turning intangible, fly towards Plasmius and overshadow him. Danny, who flies to an alley way, turns human, and walks out and watches, in surprise, as Plasmius starts to spazz out until he looks up at Vlad with a smile.

"Go ahead! Do your worst!" Plasmius said and he flies past Vlad and zooms about out of control in order to scare the citizens; Vlad aims the gun at him and fires; the duplicate flies behind the limo and Vlad blasts it to bits.

Once the smoke clears away, everyone runs to see the wreck, only to find a severely hurt (y/n) (l/n) laying on the pavement, your clothes torn and your face scratched. "(Y/N)!" Danny shouts as he runs to you. He kneels next to you and wraps his arm around you, cradling you, while Sam and Tucker run up to you two.

"Uuuuugh, uh, wha-? What happened?" You asked, pretending to be sad and broken. "I'm just a hopeless, impressionable teenager who was minding my own business when..." then you look up at your friends and boyfriend and wink at them. "...boom!" You finished.

"Oh my gosh! The Mayor shot (y/n)!" Sam exclaimed.

"He zapped an innocent kid!" Tucker shouted while Danny holds you close to him. Everyone turns and glares at Vlad. "What!? I…NO!...I mean…" Vlad stammmers as for the first time he's speechless. Jack and Maddie run over to you to check on you.

"(Y/N), are you alright? Do you need us to call your parents?" Maddie asked while people point at Vlad accusingly and mumble things at him in discontent. "Please! I can explain!" Vlad said to the angry crowd.

Later on at City Hall, Vlad was standing on a podium, about to give an announcement. "By popular decree, I hereby rescind all previous anti-ghost restrictions!" He said as he shows a signed document and the crowd cheers and applauds. "I gotta admit… he's good." You, now bandage up, said as you and the others applaud. "Yeah, he's good…But you were better." Danny said to you as he gives you a flirtatious smile. You blush at this as he leans in and kissed your cheek. "Yeah, taking those blasts forced Vlad to save his image by getting rid of those stupid laws and making the world safe for technology again!" Tucker exclaimed as he pulls out his PDA.

"In addition, I'm going to rebuild the Nasty Burger! Teens welcome! Who's your favorite Mayor now!" Vlad said as he unveils a picture of the new Nasty Burger as people begin to cheer.

"Wow, a little self-serving but another victory for our side. All in all, you two, I'd call it a draw." Sam said, hands on her hips.

"Yeah, I guess. There's only one problem with that, though. Whenever there's a draw, there's bound to be a rematch…" Danny said as you and him glare over at Vlad, who was too busy smiling at the cheering crowd.
