《Danny Phantom x Female!Reader》Chapter 64: Infinite Realms

"Okay Fenton. You've looked evil in the face and defeated it time and again. You can do this." Danny said to himself as floats up behind me while I consult the map we made of the Ghost Zone. "We turn left at Skulker's island then right at Walker's jail." He said as he points, over my shoulder, at certain spots on the map. "Or is it left at Walker's jail and right at Skulker's island?" I asked him and he scratches his head as the Specter Speeder comes up next to us.
"Um are we ever going home? Or are we still playing lost in the ghost zone?" Sam asked us, annoyed. "We're not lost. My expertly drawn map tells me exactly where we are. We just hook a u-turn around this swirling vortex of infinite pain and we're home." Danny said, confidently, but I look at the 'vortex' and said. "Ummm...that's a thumb print."
"Oh." Danny said.
"If we don't get back soon I'm gonna die of starvation. I've already missed my 4 o'clock feeding." Tucker complained.
"Would you guys quit complaining. If we're gonna become a better ghost fighting team we need to know the enemy's territory inside and out so we, uh, don't get lost." said Danny just as two ghosts fly by. "Hey. We could ask them for directions." I said to him. "And snacks. Ask for snacks." Tucker pleads. "No, let's just follow them. They're bound to lead us somewhere." Danny said and he flies after them. I roll my eyes as I follow him.
The two ghosts fly around then fly into a tunnel, leading us into a snowy mountain area. "See? These guys seem to know their way around. We'll be out of here in no time." Danny said with confidence until he hits a block of ice. "Danny!" I said then me and the Specter Speeder crashes into ice, causing Danny, Sam, Tucker and I to fall down a hole.
The Specter Speeder lands upside down while Danny and I land down into the snow. I groan as I sit up and look over at Danny and the others. "Is everyone alright?" I asked them. "Besides being lost, almost killed, and now having no way home. Stellar." Sam replied, sarcastically.
Danny walks up to the Speeder and see that the fall caused alot of damage to the vehicle. "Oh man. My dad's gonna kill me." Danny said in distress.
Suddenly, we heard heavy footsteps behind us. Danny and I turn around and saw a tall white fur bear-like creature looming over us. He had two ice horns on top of his head and his left arm was completely made out of ice, you could even see the bones, and he had a blue cape over his left shoulder. "He's not the only one!" Tucker shouted in fear as the creature growls and roars at us.
"Good boy. Nice boy." Danny said. The creature raises its fist at us and starts to bring it down but we dodge the creature's fist. "Lay down." I commanded as we shoot some plasma blasts, knocking the monster back and trapping him in a cage of icicles. "Very good. Next we'll work on fetching the paper." Danny said as he takes my hand and we begin to walk away.
"Danny! (Y/N)!" Tucker and Sam shout at us.
We turn around in time to see a large icicle heading our way. Danny fires a plasma blast, breaking apart the ice. Then I fired another plasma blast at the creature, who counters with ice rays from his eyes, freezing my plasma blasts. The monster throws one of the frozen plasma blasts, causing a pile of snow to dump on top of Danny and I. We dig ourselves out of the snow.

As the creature raises its arm at us Danny looks up and sees an icicle in its shoulder. "Wait a minute." Danny said as he points it out to me. I raise an eyebrow while Danny shoots out the icicle with a plasma blast.
The creature growled for a moment before he stops and has a look of surprise on his face. "Huh? The pain. It's gone." He said with a smile. Then he looks down at Danny and I turn he lifts us out of the snow and into a giant hug. "Hahaha thank you." He said with a hearty laugh. Then he sets us down and said. "To whom do I owe my debt of gratitute?" He brushes the snow out of mine and Danny's hair and his eyes widen once he sees Danny. "You? The savior of the Ghost Zone!" He exclaimed. "Me?" Danny said, surprised. "The savior?" I said just as Sam and Tucker said, in unison. "Of the Ghost Zone?"
The creature begins to kneel before us and said. "Oh Great One, behold your humble servant Frostbite, leader of the Far Frozen." He said. Danny couldn't help but laugh nervously at this. "Excuse me, your majesty, do you think you could talk it--him--whatever into helping us?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, I need nourishment. Stat." Tucker said and I just rolled my eyes at this.
Frostbite stands up and said. "Yes! It is my honor to assist the Great One and his servants." he runs over to the Specter Speed and picks it with one hand. "Servants?!" Sam said, angrily, while Frostbite picks Danny and I up with his othet hand. "Silence, oh Sam of the Very Vegan." Danny said with a playful smile on his lips. "To my village we shall go and a great feast we shall have." Frostbite said as he carries off to his village.
Afterwhile, Frostbite had some of his men work on fixing the Specter Speeder while he takes us up to a cave. "This shrine is dedicated to you, oh Great One!" Frostbite said as he gestures to all of the few pictures of Danny inscribed in the cave. "So this is why they think I'm the Ghostzone's savior, because I defeated the Ghost King!" Danny said as points at a picture of him and the Ghost King fighting.
Then Danny's hand moves upwards to another picture in which the Ghost King is being pushed into an object by Danny. "That's me trapping him in the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep!" He said.
"Wow, in the world of freaky, hairy, frozen people with bad breath, you're a legend!" I said, sarcastically, to him while Sam sniggers.
"It is my hope that our humble tribute pleases you, oh Great One." Frostbite said as he bows again. "This is all swell Mr.Frostbite but we're kinda lost and--" Danny started to explain when Frostbite stands up and smiles. "Excellent!" And then Frostbite runs down into the cave followed by us until we reach a room where maps are hanging on the walls, several knick knacks are scattered and a purple glowing treasure chest with claw shaped lock sits on a pedestal in the middle of the room. Frostbite places the hand of his arm of ice into the lock causing the golden chest to open and a scroll to hover in the air.
"Behold, the Infi-map!" he exclaims.
"The Infi-map?" All four of us asked.
"We have guarded it for a millenia. It can lead the wielder to any entrance of the Ghost Zone." Frostbite replied as he presses a claw to the bottom of the glowing map causing it to unravel, exposing the green patterns and odd markings on it. "Any entrance? I thought our portal and Vlad's portal were the only entrances" Danny asked him.

"Your world has many natural entrances to the Ghost Zone that only the Infi-map can reveal. For example...An area you call the Bermuda triangle" Frostbite explained as a hologram of a green outline of a triangle appears behind him. "That explains all the mysterious disappearances! Everything that comes in comes to the Ghost Zone!" said Sam and Frostbite nods at her.
"Travelers pass quickly through until they find their way back---Yet not necessarily from the time period in which they left." He said. "So it not only takes you through Earth but time too?" I asked him.
"The Ghost Zone is constantly shifting. Entrances can appear in many different periods. Most remain open for only a short time before closing forever. In the wrong hands, the map could be very dangerous. And you must not stray from it's indicated path which is why I'll be escorting you home." He replied as we surround the map and look at it. "Wow, thanks! Which way do we go?" Danny asked him.
"The map can read your mind. I shall simply speak where I wish to go and the map will take us there." said Frostbite. "You mean if I say take us home, it'll take us--" Danny started to say until the map immediately glows purple and a white dotted path line moves across the map from one area to the symbol resembling Danny's portal. Then the map jerks us away and through the cave at an extremely fast speed and I could tell that Frostbite didn't look happy that the map was getting away from him.
The map flies us out of the cave, at an incredible speed, down the steep descent, over several feet of snow, zooms past two yetis, off the Far Frozen's island and hurdles into the Ghost Zone, passing several floating landmasses. Then we were catapulted through the portal into the Fenton's lab.
"Wow, that was better than the Vomit Vortex at Floodywaters!" Tucker exclaimed, happily. Danny rolls up the map and transforms back to a human. I do the same as he says to Sam. "See? I promised I'd get you home."
"Frostbite didn't seem so keen on letting this out of his sight." Sam said as she points at the map. "Yeah, we better get it back to him." I suggested to him. "We will. But who says we can't check it out a bit. After all, I am the savior of the Ghost Zone." said Danny as he puts his hand to his chest. "Wow, egotistic much?" I asked him, playful. He rolls his eyes as Tucker leans in next to him. "Besides, who's gonna know?" Tucker asked.
Few hours later, we run back into the lab where Danny and I transform into ghosts and he begins to unfurl the map. "We take a quick trip, come home and send the map back. What's the harm?" Danny asked us. I shake my head as the others shrug. Danny looks back at the map. "Map take us to...Hey where do we want to go anyway?" He asked us. "I dunno. Anywhere would be-" Tucker started to say until the map glows purple and the dotted arrow line begins darting everywhere on the map. Then the map launches into the Ghost Zone dragging us, as we scream, with it first through several stone rings and over a yellow river.
"According to the map this is the River of Revulsion." said Danny as he looks up at the map. "Why is called that? Besides the smell I mean." Tucker asked and, as if to answer his question, we come to the end of the river, a green lump monster with red eyes comes into sight. It burps, causing us to be knocked backwards by the purple gas before the map drags us on through the green realm that is the Ghost Zone.
From there we enter a canyon looking place where the sides are pink with thorns sticking out. "This is Carnivorous Canyon. The place is one big-" I start to read from the map when the walls shake and the map quickly jerks upwards. "MOUTH!" I screamed as we fly out just as the walls of the gigantic mouth slam shut. We glance at each other terrified before Danny unravels the map and they land by a non triangular portal outlined by purple stone.
"Well, it's not exactly the Bermuda triangle." Danny said as we look down at the portal. "More like the Demro Decahedron." Tucker said and he starts to laugh at his own joke but the rest of us stare at him. "Just a little Ghost Zone-geometry humor." He replied. "Well it's not on the path. Frostbite said not to stray from the path." I warned Danny, who just brushes it off. "Oh just for a second or two! We go in, look around, and get out before it closes! I promise!" He said and we jump in the portal which teleports us to under someone's bed.
"Mom, are you sure there aren't any monsters under my bed?" A little boy said, above us. "Of course not, Billy. Remember what President Roosevelt said, We have nothing to be afraid of besides fear itself!" The boy's mother said. Danny sighs as he goes intangible and pokes his head through the bed in full view of the people. "Actually, it's Nothing to fear but fear itself." Danny corrected. The child and woman scream in terror and we go through the portal and make it back to the Ghost Zone.
"Great, we scarred a child for life!" Sam said, annoyed. "I just wanted to make sure she didn't mess up the one historical quote I actually remember!" Danny said. I shake my head and said. "Well, are you guys up for finding another hidden--" but then a white path arrow immediately scurries across the map to the next path, yanking us with it into a portal that appears right at the very second for us to fly into.
We fly forward into a clock tower then Danny and I, holding on to the others, phase through the wall. We float down besides a wooden door to the cloak tower. We peer at our surroundings from behind the structure. "Cool, it's Thanksgiving!" Tucker exclaims as two pilgrims walk forward, one being a man wearing the buckled hat and the old black and grey clothes as he walks next to a women wearing a bonnet and a pale dress while carrying a basket .
"No it's Salem, Massachusetts back in the sixteen hundreds. The paranoid villagers used to punish completely innocent people because they thought they were witches." Sam replied.
"How?" Tucker asked her.
"Oh no big deal, they just burned them to the stake." Sam had barely finished saying this when a mob carrying pitchforks and torches rushes by on their way to a burning stake with a scarecrow dressed as a person. They tie the scarecrow to the stake, toss some wood underneath it before standing in front of it with torches at the ready. "I'm a big fan of barbeque but that's taking it too far!" Tucker said as he raises an eyebrow at this.
"Let's bail! The longer we're here, the more chance we have of messing something up." Danny said and I nod in agreement. We start to turn but then Sam marches forward angrily towards the villagers. "Can't you people get a life!" She shouts when a rope trap snaps, yanking Sam upwards and trapping her. Her backpack falls of and onto the ground.
"Sam!" The boys and I yelled.
"Let me go! I'm not a witch!" Sam shouted at the crowd of villagers with pitchforks below as she struggles in the trap. But then one villager speaks up. "Don't listen to her! She is a witch!" The villarger said as he removes his hat to reveal that he was Vlad Masters. "And you know what we do to witches around here." Vlad said to Sam, who looks at him terrified.
