"(Y/N)! Wake up! Time for school!" I hear my mom shout. I groan and, slowly, get out of bed. But once I pull my blanket off of me, I felt the cold hair and I shivered. I get out of bed but I felt like I couldn't stop shivering, but I did my best to put on some clothes. I put on jeans, a long sleeve shirt, shoes and I put on a hoodie. I even put on gloves but for some reason I couldn't get warm. No matter what I still felt a cold sensation run down my spine continuously.

I walk down the stairs as I wrap my arms around me. "Bye, m-m-mom. I-I-I l-l-love you." I stammered and I walk outside. But even the warm sets outside couldn't warm me up or even walking wasn't working. Maybe I should've stayed in bed. I thought as I met up with Tucker and Danny, who was wearing his red winter jacket over his clothes.

"You too?" Tucker asked me as I approach him. "Y-y-you too, w-w-what?" I asked as my teeth chattered. "Danny's shivering as well." Tucker said as he points at Danny, who's teeth were chattering as well. "R-r-really?" I asked and Danny nods. Tucker just looks between us then he leads us to Sam's house. Her parents told us that she was in the greenhouses so we went back there to see that she was packing up her lunch.

"Hey Sam. Ready for school?" Tucker greeted as we walk in to the room. "Close the door." Sam said as she runs over and closes the door. "Cold air is not good for the plants. The humidity opens their pores. It could help you sweat off a few inches too Mr. Pie-for-breakfast." She said as she points at Tucker.

"And that's wrong why?" he asked her and she rolls her eyes.

"It's like a meat locker to me. Can you turn up the heat?" Danny asked her as he and I shiver. "I know, right? It's freezing in here." I remarked. "What's with you two? It must be 95 degrees in here." Sam said.

"I-I dunno. Ever since I got up this morning I just can't seem to get warm." Danny said as his hands brushes next to Tucker and he shivers. "Man I've heard of ghosts sending chills up your spine but this is too weird." he said. "I bet (y/n) and I are coming down with a bug." Danny replied. "Yeah, maybe it's something only ghosts get or something." I said as I stop shivering.

Then a fly flies by my face and over to Venus Fly Trap, which grabs and eats the bug. "Awesome! A veggie that hates veggies as much as I do." Tucker exclaimed. Sam chuckles and said. "Let's go guys." Then she turns to the fly trap and said. "No desert for you tonight, mister." Then the four of us walk away.

As we walk down the streets of Amity Park, we construction sites going on all around us. "Ugh. Urban blight. So thrilled to live in the 21st century." Sam said, sarcastically. "Me too! That new arcade in the new strip mall next to the new hot dog place looks awesome. And new." Tucker said, happily. " I know. Besides Sam there's nothing wrong with a little p-p-progress." Danny said as he begins to shiver again. I run my hands up and down my arms as Tucker said. "Yeah, Vlad's new beautification campaign is very progressive."

"No. Just progressively worse. Seriously, messing too much with nature can be a dangerous thing." Sam said and as if on cue, mine and Danny's ghost sense goes off. The ground begins to shake, the workers begin to run away and some plant life begin to burst from the ground and form a giant plant monster, who let's out a scream. Flesh dwellers. You have caused pain to my children once too often." He shouted as he picks up a chopped down tree and holds it in his arms, like it was his child. "Now you too shall feel pain. The pain of Undergrowth!" He screams angrily as his vines begin to pick up all the construction equipment.

"Anybody got a weed-wacker?" Tucker asked us as we watch in horror.

"Pitiful human race. Your progress has destroyed acres of my children. Now I shall destroy you to make room for my new offspring." Undergrowth said as he looks down at us. "I completely dig where you're coming from, but there are better ways to go about this. Start a non-profit. Organize a petition." Sam said to him but Undergrowth picks up a truck and throws it, making it crash across the street. "Or you could destroy things." I muttered as Undergrowth lets out a yell.

"Going g-g-g-g-ghost!" Danny and I said, still shivering, and we transform and fly towards the monster. Undergrowth begins to throw equipment at us but Danny and I phase through them and we raise our hands to form an ecto-energy. "Sorry, we don't have much of a green thumb." I said and we blast Undergrowth's arm. He screams in pain and holds his shoulder. "And now neither do you." Danny remarked.

"Danny! (Y/N)!" We heard Sam and Tucker shout. I look down and see that a vine has wrapped around them. I fly towards them and cut the vines off of them with ecto energy. Sam and Tucker nod at me as they run and I fly back to Danny. We fire some ecto beams at Undergrowth as Danny said. "Undergrowth, huh? Looks to me like you're overgrown." Then we blasts off Undergrowth's head. But he reattaches his head by the neck and growls. "You can't destroy a being who's able to regenerate himself!" He shouts and then he sent more plant lives after us, but we did our best to either dodge them our blast them.

I start building up a giant ecto-blast as I said. "He can't regenerate if he's a pile of ashes." But then I drop my ecto-blast as I start shivering. "C-c-c-cold." I stammered as I hug myself. "(Y/N)!" Danny shouts as he flies towards me but then he starts to shiver too. Then some huge vines grab us and some grabbed Sam and Tucker. Then the vines pull us up to Undergrowth's face.

"Ugh, such limited life forms. Although instant destruction is an option, I feel the replanting would be more...productive." he laughed as his head splits open and some balls of fluff come at us.

"Sleep spores!" Danny exclaimed.

"At least they're full of ginkgo biloba." Sam informed as she and Tucker fall asleep while I try to fight the sleep.

"Rejoice. For a new era is taking root." Undergrowth said before I pass out.

I groan as I open my eyes to see that Amity Park was taken over by plant life. I look over and see Danny on my left and Tucker on my right and all three of us were tied up to a huge branch by huge vines. "Holy hibiscus! The whole city is a giant overgrown backyard." Danny exclaimed. "I never eat my vegetables. Why is it fair they get to eat me?" Tucker asked us as I struggled against the vines.

"Ugh, man, no good. These vines are like steel cables. With sap." I said to the boys as there was a deep chuckle.

Then the ground opens up and Undergrowth forms. "Yes! The growth is far stronger than any meat creature. No matter how powerful they think they are." He said as he turns and faces us.

Danny builds up ghost rays, but plants cover his hands. "These ghost plants are blocking my ghost energy." He exclaimed and I shut my eyes to intangible but nothing happened. "Can't go intangible either." I informed him.

"Perhaps one day you will see that this is what nature intended all along. Mankind is merely a temporary weed in the garden of life. A weed that can be removed." Undergrowth said.

"Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl bows to no plant!" Danny shouted at the creature. "Bow? We can't even wiggle our fingers!" Tucker exclaimed.

"Your pessimistic but accurate friend is right. Observe. Your once proud, progressive metropolis." Undergrowth said as he gestures to Amity Park. Down the street there was a brain shaped plant that had vines coming out of the bottom and attached to the citizens, making them plant more trees. "The mind vine enables me to control the inhabitant's every movement. Why should I burden myself with the destruction of your city when I can have it's own citizens do it for me? Once the way is cleared, my children will be planted and grow anew. My consciousness. My will. Shall spread throughout globe. And the concrete jungle shall become real jungles." said Undergrowth as he laughs at us.

"You can't win! If we can't stop you someone w-w-w-will." I said as I shiver again. "Really? Such as?" Undergrowth asked just as the Fenton Assualt Vehicle pops up and starts to drive through the mess. But a vine comes up and breaks the vehicle in half. Mr and Mrs Fenton fly out but Mrs Fenton was the only one who landed on her feet while Mr Fenton landed flat on his face.

Mrs Fenton pulls out some gardening tools and started kicking some plant booty but it didn't last long as one of the mind vines come up behind her and attached to the back of her head. "No! Mom! She's been taken over by the mind vine." Danny said as we see one of the mind vines attached to Mr Fenton. He screams but then pulls at the vine and looks at it. The vine kept attaching itself to various parts of his face but he seemed his normal self until the vine went through his ear and he became a plant zombie.

"No! Not them! Let them go!" Danny screamed at Undergrowth.

"He's controlling everyone. After us there's nobody left." Tucker said.

"W-w-w-wait a minute. W-w-w-where's Sam?" I asked the boys.

"Ah yes the other female. Every garden needs a caretaker." Undergrowth said as a giant purple flower forms in front of us and begins to bloom, only for Sam, now wearing a green plant-like dress and green gloves, to float out of it. "Sam." Danny and I said in shock. "Green's a good color on you." Tucker complimented.

"Her love of vegetation makes her the perfect choice to work alongside me. I can show her the ropes...or vines, so to speak." Undergrowth said with a smile. "Flesh walkers. Your bodies are needed for work." Sam said in a low tone voice as the mind vines pop up. "Great. Veggies and work. My two least favorite." Tucker grumbled before he was taking over by the mind vines. "TUCKER!" Danny and I shouted.

"And nourishment." Sam said as she raises her arms and a giant plant monster lunges at us, giant mouth and sharp teeth knashing at us. Danny and I stare at the monster in fear bit we shut our eyes as I felt something tingly happening. "Back off!" we shouted and there was a blast from us as we broke free from our restraint and the monster.

Danny grabs my hand and the two of us fly away. "Stop them!" Undergrowth shouted and Sam screams as she goes to attack us. We stopped as she blocks us. "Join us Danny and (y/n). The growth is family." She said to us as some more plants start to wrap around our wrists. "Already got one, thanks. And I'm still working the b-b-b-bugs out of it." Danny said and we grunt as we break free from the vines and fly up higher.

"At least they can't reach me up here. No such thing as flying plants." I said to Danny. But I spoke too soon when Undergrowth's face appears before us and shouted. "I AM EVERYWHERE!!!"

We gasped as Danny grabs my hand again and the two of us try to find away out as Undergrowth kept blocking our path. "He might be everywhere out here. B-b-but I know one place he's not." Danny told me as we fly through some more vines and blasts through several more. Suddenly, I start to shiver uncontrollably. "(Y-Y-Y/N-N)?" Danny said and I can tell he's shivering too. "T-t-t-too cold. Can't say airborne." I said, weakly, and I begin to drift down.

"(Y/N)!" I hear Danny shout and I felt him wrap his arms around me and we phase through the street and into the sewer and into the water. Suddenly the water turned to ice. Danny wrapped his arm around me and he punched the ice with his other fist and we climbed out. "A-a-are you ok-k-kay?" Danny asked me. I couldn't form any words but I nod just as Sam pops up at the end of the sewer. "Become part of the growth!" She said and we get up and run towards the end of the tunnel.

Up ahead there was a ladder for us to climb on. We jumped and grabbed on to it and began to climb. Danny pushes the manhole cover aside and climbs up and out to the street then he bends down and reaches his hand out to me. I shake for a moment before I was able to reach out and accept his hand. He helps me climb out and we look over and see we are in front of his house. "G-got to get inside." Danny saod, weakly, and I nod as we make our way, only to hear Undergrowth scream and some of his vines burst through the manhole.

Danny takes my hand and the two of us run into the house and down the stairs to the lab. "The Ghost Zone. Our only chance." I said as we make a break for the portal but then Sam blocks our way as she looks at Danny. "Stay Danny. Stay and rule with me. Forget about the ghost girl, let her be devoured by the family and you and I can rule this town, together." Sam said. "I always thought you ruled Sam. Just not like this. And I'm n-n-not a-a-abandoning (y/n)." Danny said. "We'll b-b-be back. And we'll save you and T-t-tucker. And everyone." I stammered. Sam growls at me then thrust her hands forward as more vines come at us. We turn intangible and start to run towards the portal. "We promise!" Danny and I shouted as we jumped into the portal.

We floated around the Ghost Zone for awhile as we tried to find someone to help us. "Only one person who can help us. Hopefully I'll manage to s-s-steer us in the r-r-r-right direction." Danny said as he takes my hand again and we fly deeper and deeper into the Ghost Zone as we, literally, had icicles hanging off of our noses.

Finally we make it to the Far Frozen but I couldn't make it any further and I start to groan and my hand slipped out of Danny's hand. "(Y/N)!" I heard Danny shout, weakly, as he starts to fall to and both of us hit some slopes until we fall into the deep snow.

Before I slipped into unconsciousness, I was able to make out something flying towards us and two figures were driving it before I close my eyes and blacked-out.
