I groaned and opened my eyes, for the second time, when I saw that I was in a lab. "Ah ha. Good morning Sleeping Beautys." A familiar voice said as the figure walks up to us. "Frostbite!" Danny and I said. "Hey wait a minute. Where are we?" Danny asked as I looked down and saw that I was in a chamber full of water and I had no clothes on except my underwear and bra. I look over and see that Danny, in another chamber as well, was only in his underwear. I gasped as Danny looks over at me and blushes as he turns his head away, embarrassed. "Uuuhhh, where are our clothes?" I asked as I covered myself.

"This is a medical facility in the realm of the Far Frozen and you two are floating in a de-icing chamber. Your clothes are in the wash. There were a lot of burs in your shirts. As for what happened, I'm afraid you two are going to have to tell me." Frostbite replied. "Well what we can tell you isn't good. Amity Park, our home, completely overrun by Undergrowth. A psycho, freaky plant ghost." Danny answered him.

Frostbite walks over to a table where a hologram of Undergrowth appears. "I have heard tell of this Undergrowth. A powerful ghost he is. Capable of regenerating himself and producing numerous killer offspring. Nearly impossible to defeat." He said. "Heh, tell us about it. We tried to stop him but I don't remember much once the cold sensation started taking me over." I said and Danny nods. "Yeah, same here." said Danny.

"Ah yes, the cold sensation." Frostbite said and the hologram of Undergrowth disappears and a silhouette of Danny and I appear with a small blue ball in our chest. "Your central core reading indicates extreme cold. As if your body is self generating it. I sensed it within you two the last time we met." He said.

"How is that possible?" asked Danny.

Frostbite laughs as he turns to us. "You two become invisible, pass through solid object, and emit beams of energy from your hands and you ask how is this possible." He said and my jaw dropped.

"You mean this is a new ghost power?" I asked him.

"Precisely. Though new to you two it may be, rest assured it is an ability very familiar to my people. We are quite well trained in its use." He said then he makes an ice sculpture of Danny then made an ice sword appear in his hands.

"Of course there are more practical uses for it as well." Frostbite said as he screams and cuts down the Danny ice sculpture.

"Teach us." I said.

"When our clothes are ready." Danny said as he looks down at himself then looks over at me before he turns his head away.

After we got our clothes back, Frostbite takes us to an arena, which had hundreds of Frostbites people in the stands. "Why are there so many of your p-p-people w-watching us?" Danny asked as he and I shiver again. "Ha! It is not every moon that my people get an opportunity to see their leader train one as legendary as you, oh great one, and your girlfriend." Frostbite replied.

"You mean they're hoping we'll mess up, huh?" I asked him. "Indeed. These people live in a frozen wasteland. They take their comedy where they can get it. Now then, lesson one: stop shivering." Frostbite ordered.

"I-I-I-I c-c-can't." Danny stammered and I nod as I shake some more.

"This is because the cold is contained within you two and ever since you two acquired your ghost abilities you two have only been letting it out in small amounts." Frostbite said as he holds up his hand and holds his finger and thumb just an inch apart.

"Like when?" I asked him.

"Every time you two sensed a ghost is nearby." replied Frostbite.

"Our ghost sense? That's been part of this freeze power all along?" Danny asked.

"But now you two must learn to let it out all at once. Now then, concentrate. Let the energy build until it has nowhere to go but out." He encouraged us.

Danny looks at me and I nod at him. "Okay. Here it goes." We said and we concentrate and scream as we releases a blast of cold. We fall andnland on our butt and I realized that I wasn't shivering. "Hey. Wow! It worked." I said.

"Yeah, I feel normal again." Danny exclaimed.

"No more cold feeling." said I, happily.

We look up and said. "Way to go Frostbi--" but we stopped to see a frozen Frostbite, who was giving us the thumbs up. "Um, can I get some hot chocolate over here?" Danny asked the people.

After defrosting Frostbite, he showed us to form icicles and aim it at some targets. Unfortunately, Danny and I accidentally sent our icicles at the Far Frozen people, causing people to get hurt. Then later he showed us to shoot ice beams out of our eyes. A puck was shot in the air for me and I concentrated and looked right at the puck, then I fired the ice out of my eyes and hit the puck perfectly. The people cheered as Danny gave me a thumbs up when his puck shoots out. He looks at it but the thing goes in a different direction and Danny ended up freezing up the people. "Great. We're not going to sell any snacks now." Frostbite said, annoyed, as he walks away.

"Well I guess this is goodbye. For now." Danny said to Frostbite as we stand on a ledge of a mountain. "I don't know how we can ever thank you and your people enough." I said to him.

"You can thank us by using your new abilities to rid your world of the evil ghost vermin that infests it." Frostbite said, smiling.

"Yeah. I-I just...what if we can't beat him? If we can never go home again." Danny said as he looks down at his feet. I frown at this as I walk up to him and place my hand on his shoulder. "Maybe we could just stay here with you." He said as he turns to face Frostbite.

"No!" Some of the people said in fear.

"Fear is natural Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl. Charging into battle despite the fear is what makes someone a hero. A hero must always believe that he or she will win. And your new abilities just may help. Be mindful. You control the power. It does not control you." Frostbite said to us and we smile up at him. He holds out his hand to us.

"Thanks." Danny said but then he freezes Frostbite's hand. "Uh, sorry." He mutters then he and I turn to the injured residents.

"Bye everyone." We said then the people scream and run away from us. We look up at Frostbite and he gives us a determined look. We smile at him as Danny takes my hand and we fly away and head back to Amity Park.

We fly through the portal and enter the Fenton's lab, which was covered in vines. We hold up our hands to illuminate the room. "The lab looks like this, I can't imagine the rest of the town." Danny mutters. "No kidding." I said and we float up to the roof and out of the house. We looked around and Amity Park looked even worse than before.

"Danny. (Y/N)." A voice called out to us.

We looked around then begin to fly the town. "This place is deserted. No signs of human life anywhere." I said as we look around deserted streets. "We better find Tucker or--" Danny started to say until he started to shiver. "Danny." I said, gently, as I place my hand on his shoulder and then I started to shiver. "I control the power. The power doesn't control me." We said in unison.

"Danny. (Y/N)." The voice said again and we stopped shivering and begin to make our way to the voice.

The voice lead us to a tall plant but there was nobody around. "Welcome back." We turned to see Sam, now in a upgraded plant outfit complete with a thorny vine headdress, appear before us. "I thought you two be gone for good." She said to us. "Sam, we have to get you out of here!" Danny exclaimed. "No. I like it here. Undergrowth has made all things new. They need me. I am their new mother." Sam said as she floats to some some plant monsters and begin to pet them like they were dogs.

"What? You won't even babysit your cousins!" I exclaimed.

"We have to get out of here now. Where's everybody else?" Sam snaps her fingers and hundreds of pods pop out of the ground and open up to reveal everybody in Amity Park. "Our friends. Our families. What are you doing?" Danny asked her, angrily. "They will be used as nutrients for the children. All that matters now are the children." Sam said as she turns to us.

Then the ground begins to shake and out pops Undergrowth. "And you two will make a fine meal for them, too." He said and he backhand us and we fall down as vines begin to attack us. We did our best to fight them off as we blast them but then a huge thick vine wraps around both of us. "You must take root. Become one with us." Sam said.

"Stop! Please!" I screamed.

"Sam, you can't let him win!" Danny said then more vines begin to wrap around us. "No! Wait!" We shouted as we were pulled underground.

We struggled against the vines but it was hopeless...that is until.....

Now then, concentrate. Let the energy build until it has nowhere to go but out.

I look over at Danny and move my hand, as much as I could, to reach out to his hand. He looks over at me and I give him a look that said. You know what we have to do. He looks at me with determination then we closed our eyes as we concentrate on our new found energy.

"Let. Me. Go!" We screamed and we used the ice for freeze up the vine and we burst out of the ground and into the sky, to face Undergrowth and Sam. They look up at us in surprise as we glare at them. "Bundle up. It's gonna get chilly." Danny said as we raise our hands and made a swiping moment as energy hits Undergrowth, freezing him. Then he breaks out of the block of ice and growls at us as he thrusts his arms out, making more vines attack us but we were able to blast them. Until one of them grabbed me. "Watch out. The weather man predicted a cold snap." I quirked as I freeze the vine and break out of it.

Undergrowth screams as he begins to shrink. Danny flies up to me as we watch this then we look down at our glowing blue hands. "I've got an idea." Danny said then he turns to Undergrowth. "Hey cabbage face!" He shouted. Undergrowth looks up at us and growls at us again. "Haven't you heard that cold air is bad for the plants?" Danny asked and he flies towards the ground and I follow as we phase through the ground and start to aim ice at the roots.

"No! My roots!" We heard Undergrowth scream as we ice up more roots. "No! You cannot do this to my children. Agh! This is my domain! My offspring will inherit the earth!" He shouts until we bust out of the ground and face Undergrowth, who shrunk some more since a few moments ago.

"Dude, I don't know if you realized this, but you're a terrible father." Danny remarked and we blast him with ecto-energy andnhe falls on his back.

"As duly deputized protectors of Amity Park, it's my sincere hope that you've enjoyed your butt-kicking experience." I said and the both of us form a huge ice ball full of ecto-energy of our own and throw it at Undergrowth, who raises his hands in defense. Nothing happened for a moment and he starts to attack but then he stops.

"No! No!!!!" He screamed as there was a huge flash of white light and it blew him up. The mind vines, the plant monsters and everything that was under Undergrowths influence began to disappear and the town was turning back to normal.

"We did it!!" I exclaimed as I go and hug Danny. As we embraced, the both of us float down and land nearby Sam and Tucker, who were coming to. "What happened? Blech! My mouth takes like I had nine thousand shots of wheat-grass. Without the wheat." Sam said in disgust as she stands up. "And I had a nightmare that I was trapped in a giant salad bar." Tucker said then he shudders. "Ooh, garbanzo beans."

We walk up to them as Danny asked. "Hey are you guys okay?"

"Danny, (Y/N), what happened to you guys?" Sam asked us. I look around us and I noticed Danny and I were glowing blue. "Let's just say we have a whole new respect for nature." I replied as Danny takes my hand in his. Then I raised up my hand and made a diamond out of ice while Danny made a snowball. "Whoa! You can do that now?" Sam asked, impressed. I nod and said. "Cool, right? Uh....no pun intended." Danny said and the three of us chuckled as Tucker rolls up in a huge lawn mower and a sign that said .

"Tucker, what are you doing?" Danny asked him as I read the sign. "$5,000 to cut someone's lawn?" I asked. "All I need is one lawn and we'll be rolling in green stuff." Tucker said, happily. "Why do I get the feeling I've just done that?" Sam asked when we heard a rumble under our feet.

We look down to see a very small vine creature pop out. "I am regenerating. I will take over---" he started to say until he screamed when he saw Tucker come at him with the mower.

"That one's on the house." Tucker said and the four of us begin to laugh.
