"Elliot! What are you doing here?" I asked him. "Well, dad and I were passing through and I thought why not visit my favorite cousin!" He replied, smiling at me. I giggled and I hug him again.

Elliot is my cousin. His mom and my mom are sisters and his Dad is like a successful business man, meaning he's rich, but the good thing about Elliot is that he doesn't flaunt around his money, kinda like how Sam is. He's very humble and a nice person, the kind of person that will take his shirt off his back for you. He doesn't care about popularity.

"Aww, well we'll leave you two alone." Dad said as he and mom walks out. "So, how's life here at Amity Park, little cousin?" Elliot asked me. "Oh it's pretty crazy here!" I replied. "Yeah, I've heard about the whole ghost thing and the mayor here hired some goons to hunt them. If you ask me, those two ghost superheros are better." He replied.

"Oh, you know about Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl?" I asked, trying not to cry again. "Oh, yeah. I keep an eye on the news that involves this town, ever since you told me you were moving here." He said with a smile. And the two of us just catch up on our lives.

"Seriously?!? You have a boyfriend?" Elliot asked me a few minutes later. I nod and he smiles and said in a fake teary voice. "My little cousin is all grown up." He pretended to wipe a tear off his face and I just chuckle and punch his arm.

Suddenly, the doorbell rings and the two of us look over at the door. "You expecting someone?" Elliot asked. "Actually, yeah!" I said as I get up and head to the door. I open it as I see Danny standing there smiling. "Hey, (y/n). Can I come in?" He asked me. I moved to the side and let Danny in. I shut the door as Danny looks over and sees Elliot. "Oh, I didn't know you had company." Danny said as he eyes Elliot, suspiciously.

I roll my eyes and said. "Danny, this is my cousin, Elliot. Elliot, this is Danny, my boyfriend." Elliot comes up to Danny and holds his hand out to him. "Nice to meet you." Elliot said as he and Danny shakes hand. "Uh, nice to meet you too." Danny stammers.

"So, you're the one who's butt I have to kick if you hurt my little cousin." Elliot said to Danny, who looks a little worried.

"I'm only younger than you by five months!" I said to Elliot and he begins to chuckle.

"Hey, what can I say, you're like a little sister to me." He said and I smile.

"By the way, dude, love the white streak in your hair! It's pretty cool!" Elliot complimented and Danny gives a small smile to him. "Heh, thanks." Danny replied as a phone rings out and Elliot pulls out his cellphone. "Hello?" He answered and he listens to the other end. "Yeah....uh-huh.....yeah, okay, I'll be over there." He said and he hangs up the phone. "Sorry, I've gotta go. I'll see you later, little cuz!" He said and he hugs me then he shakes Danny's hand again. "Bye, Elliot!" I said as he walks out the door.

"So that was your cousin?" Danny asked. "Yeah, I didn't even know he was coming! It was a huge surprise." I replied. "And speaking of surprises, I still can't believe you got rid of your powers, Danny!"

"Why is everyone but me bummed about this? You know as well as I do that Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl aren't needed anymore." Danny said, alittle annoyed.

"Yeah, I know that now. I've thought about it and I understand where you're coming from but I'm keeping my powers and I'm going to keep a low profile." I said. Danny nods as I smile. "So did you get your parents out of jail?" I asked him. "Yeah, they went home and I wanted to see you, since you left the lab." Danny replied. "Well, I didn't feel like getting arrested today, so I had to leave." I teased as I smiled at him and he takes my hand in his. "C'mon, let's go for a walk and be...well...normal." Danny said and I chuckle and the two of us go out for a walk.

For the next couple of days, it seemed there was endless ghost attacks but the Master's Blasters were there to take care of it. Sam and Tucker kept looking over at me and Danny to see if we would interfere and, even though my ghost sense went off, we did nothing and went about the normal teenager life.

It has been another busy day for Mayor Masters Master's Blasters, who are now charging a small fee to cover their growing expenses.

Danny, Sam, Tucker and I were sitting in Sam's theater room, enjoying some snacks and watching the news. "Ah, this is the life! Just sitting around, NOT fighting ghosts with my totally ordinary pals." Danny said then he turn to Sam and said. "Can you pass me a corndog?" Sam glares at him and picks up the dog and shoves it in his mouth then she gets up and walks away.

Danny looks after her until I sigh and said. "I'll go talk to her." I walk out of the room and out the door on he doorsteps. "Sam? What's wrong?" I asked her as I shut the door. "What's wrong?! Are you serious?! Danny's not himself anymore and neither are You! Danny's just a normal kid and you're trying to act like one and both of you are being selfish!" Sam shout at me.

"I'm sorry, how are we being selfish? Because we want to protect the ones we care about the most?!" I argued.

"You should be talking to him! Fighting him! Tell him to figure out a way to get his powers back! You are his girlfriend, you know!" Sam exclaimed.

"It's his decision, Sam! I can't order and boss him around! It's his choice! And if being normal makes him happy then that's good enough for me!" I said, angrily.

"See there you go, acting selfish!" Sam shouted.

"How is that selfish?! Because I want my boyfriend to be happy than be miserable!" I shouted.

"And this is why I think I would be a better girlfriend for Danny than you! Actually, I should be his girlfriend!!" Sam shouted but then she gasped and covered her mouth in shock.

My eyes widen at this. "You...Sam....how....?" I stammered as I stared at her in shock. "(Y/N), I'm sorry! I-I-I didn't mean...." she stammers.

"So that dream....you really...?" I said and she stares at me with sad eyes.

"(Y/N), I'm so sorry! I didn't want you to find out, I'm just so angry and frustrated at this whole thing and....well..." she trails off then she turns her back on me.

"How long?" I asked her.

She turns back at me and replied. "For awhile, I'm not sure when but I know it was before you got your powers but after you told me you liked him. At first it was a very small crush and I was alittle jealous when you two got together. But then you got powers and, suddenly, you were able to understand Danny better than I ever could and I became really jealous of you and...." she stops as she looks up at me in fear.

"And what?" I asked her.

"And....I even began to wish that you and Danny never met, so that I could be his girlfriend." She said and I gasped as I placed my hands over my mouth, tears forming in my eyes. "Sam....I thought you were my friend." I said, tearfully.

"I am your friend!" She said.

"You just told me that you wished I never met you guys! I-I'm sorry but that doesn't sound like friends to me!" I shouted. "(Y/N)...please!" Sam pleaded but I start to walk away. "No, I-I need to think about this!" I said and I run down an alleyway, go ghost, and fly away towards home.

I didn't bother going to school the next day, scared to face Sam after that. I told mom and dad that I wasn't feeling good so I stayed in my room most of the day. As the evening rolled over, I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." I said, weakly. The door opens and Elliot walks in. "Hey, cuz. What's up? Aunt (mother's name) said you were up here not feeling good." He said, a concerned tone in his voice. "It's nothing, Elliot. Just some stupid teen girl drama, is all." I muttered as I put a pillow over my face.

"Do I need to beat someone up?" Elliot asked. I chuckled and said. "No."

"Did that Danny kid hurt you?" Elliot asked.

"No."

"Then what's wrong?"

I sighed and said. "I just found out my best friend has a thing for my boyfriend and she said that she wished he and I never met."

Elliot's eyes widen at this and said. "Wow, that's some heavy stuff."

"I know and I just don't know how to handle it." I said. But before Elliot could say anything mom comes in. "Uh, kids...you need to see this." She said and she walks out of the room. Elliot and I stare at each other and we begin to make our way downstairs and head into the living room.

The TV was on, with the words Breaking News appearing on the screen, and my parents and my uncle, Elliot's dad, was sitting on the couch. "Hey, Uncle Will." I greeted and he looks up and me and smiles. "Hey, sweetheart." He greeted just as Lance Thunder appears on screen.

We interrupt this program to bring you breaking news from the Universal Observatory.

The screen switches to two scientist as one of them said. "Earlier today, our stellar reading indicates a massive asteroid is hurtling across the solar system!"

"Where it's trajectory will send it crashing into Earth." The second scientist informed.

"If immediate action is not yet taken our entire planet will be completely destroyed!" The first scientist warned.

"We estimate we have one week before impact!" said the second scientist.

"The fate of the human race is at stake. One week. Use it wisely." The first scientist warned and the rest of us look at each other with fear and worry.

As news of the approaching asteroid, which some are calling it the diasteroid, circulates around the globe. Counties are combining their greatest technology to stop the oncoming threat. Sadly, it appears that our best might not be good enough. Speaking of not good enough, let's go live to Fenton Works.

"Thanks, Shelly. I'm here, ring side where a privately funded mission to stop the disateroid is underway." Lance said as stands in front of a camera with Me, Danny and Jazz behind him as we stand by the control panel and the computers in the lab. "I can't believe I'm just sitting at a computer console when (y/n) and I should be out there stopping this!" Danny said to Jazz and I. Then I look over and see Vlad was standing by, looking smug as ever.

"And I really can't believe we have to do this with him!" Danny whispered, angrily.

"We never would've been able to get this mission running up so fast of he hadn't paid for everything! So at least until the world is saved...chill!" Jazz whispered back to him. Danny glares up at her as Lance comes up to him and asked. "How's it going, young man?"

Uh...my dad, Jack Fenton, and Mr (l/n) are piloting our new..."

"MY new!" Vlad corrected, interrupting Danny.

"FENTON ROCKET. And they are on their way to destroy the asteroid." Danny said as he points to the screen, showing Mr Fenton's and my dad's determined face. "They look very serious about their mission." Lance said.

"You'd be serious too, if you had to eat these freaky astronaut food! Freezed-dried yams smelt surprise?! What the heck is that?!" Mr Fenton exclaimed as he throws the package of food on the ground.

"With me now is Amity Park's mayor, Vlad Masters. I understand you sent in your own team of experts." Lance said to Vlad. "Oh yes. Seeing as the world is in jeopardy, I felt that the Master's Blasters presences, was an absolute necessity. Plus, think how well their action figures will sell!" Vlad replied as he holds up the action figures of his team.

"Dad, Mr Fenton! Missing status?" I asked over the speaker.

"Readying size in drill charges....fire!" Mr Fenton said as he presses a button and the two drills hurtle into the asteroid. "Detonation in 3...2...1.." Danny counted and the asteroid exploded. And we all cheered at this and Danny and I hugged each other.

But then our celebration was short-lived as we saw that we destroyed the wrong asteroid! The real one was still on its way. "That's the disateroid! You two had us blow up the wrong one, you idiots!" Downloaded exclaimed at my dad and Mr Fenton. "But...we couldn't have! Vladdie punched in the asteroid coordinates for us!" Mr Fenton defended. "Yeah, your boss had it wrong!" My dad accused and then it turned into a huge fight between the Master's Blasters, my dad and Mr Fenton.

"That...that was our last chance." Mrs Fenton said and everyone begins to leave. Danny and I look at the computer in defeat before I placed a hand on his shoulder. He looks up at me and I frown at him. He nods and we begin to walk away until we run into Vlad.

"Oops, looks like I set the wrong coordinates, silly me. You know how bad I can be with computers." He said and Danny and I just walk away from him. "Looks like your father, along with your father (y/n), have failed once again. And at a time when the world needs a hero the most." He said.

"At least they tried, Vlad!" I shouted at him.

"What have you done except send others to do your work for you?" Danny asked him, angrily.

"And where are you, Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl?! Looks like my plan to shame you two into hiding was even more effective than I could've hoped!" Vlad said, a smile spread across his face. We glared at him as Danny goes to punch him but Vlad moved and he falls face forward but I raise my hand and blast Vlad, making him hit the wall. "Ah, so you kept your powers. How nice." Vlad said.

Before I could do anything the news report comes on.

I'm just getting word, that the scientist now know the disateroid originated from the rings of Saturn two weeks ago.

"Saturn? Your satellite exploded!" I exclaimed. "That's what moved the asteroid! You're the one who caused all this catastrophe!" Danny shouted as he points at Vlad. Vlad smiles as he transforms into his ghost form and knocks me aside. "(Y/N)!" Danny exclaimed as Vlad grabs his collar. "Defeating you and your girlfriend was just Act one of my little show. Get ready for Act two!" Vlad said and he throws Danny towards the broken portal.

"Danny!" I shout before I transformed and fly towards Vlad. Then I begin to punch Vlad, pretty hard and multiple times actually, letting out all my anger that I was feeling at the moment. "Temper, child, temper!" Vlad said as he grabs my fist and shocks me. I screamed and reverted back to a human and he throws me towards the portal, where I landed next to Danny. I look over at him and muttered his name before I blacked out.
